Distracted (Krystal's POV)

Jealousy

24 April 2007

 “Krystal, stop daydreaming. Let’s go.”

I snapped out of my train of thoughts to find Jessica beckoning to me from the cashier. Hurriedly, I ran over to meet her and together, we stepped out of the dim shop into the bright sunlight.

As usual, I dutifully tagged along behind Jessica as we made our way home, peeking into the display window of every shop we passed. As we were reaching the traffic junction, I found a corner shop that was new. Mesmerised by the many pretty trinkets and figurines that lined the display shelf in the shop window, I halted my steps. Cupping my hands to the glass to block out the bright glare of the sun, I leaned in to take a closer look.

Chapter 10: This is sooooooo good. You wrote it really well. Although, each chapter was so short that you actually could've put it all in one chapter as a oneshot^~^

Chapter 3: "Why do I keep clinging to that sliver of hope that one day, just one day, she would once again see me as her daughter, Jessica, and not 'the elder sister of Krystal'?"
I like this line the most because it pointed out the difference between the two simple titles.
I wanted to leave it in my bookmarks but I figured it's short so I finished reading it. XD
