Hye Jin's POV/Your POV

I stood there,stunned at what I just heard."Mr Han is on his way back from the airport." I am

sure that I wasn't hearing things."..Miss?". My driver called me out.I immediately snapped out of

my thoughts."Let's go". I told him as I went into the car.He followed me and drove me back to

my

house.(Mansion,whatever).The ride back home felt like hours.I watched the trees and houses

pass,trying to calm myself down.I am not afraid of my dad,I repeat,I am not afraid of my dad.It's

just...I don't know.I just don't like it when he's around.I shook my head and rest myself against

the headrest.Everything was kind of going fine with my life,and he had to come back.I lost count

on how many times I mentally sighed in the car right now.Can life get any worse?."Miss,we're

here". My driver told me.I looked outside."Well,that was fast".I thought to myself and

frowned.My maid came out to take the white grape juice from my driver and escorted me

inside.At least He isn't home yet.Then one of my maids said,"Sir is home already.He is waiting

for you in his office".I showed her an emotionless expression but inside I was all,

"Why,why,why?!".I walked upstairs silently to the 3rd floor.I stopped in front of a door that was

labeled,"office".I rolled my eyes at it before I turned the door knob."This room brings back bad

memories".I thought to myself.I stepped in slowly and saw my dad sitting on his favourite grand 

chair,looking at me with strict eyes."I've only been a way for a week and you've already

forgotten your manners,Hye Jin?!". He shouted strictly,only loud enough for me to hear.I kept

quiet.I didn't felt like saying anything honestly."Aren't you going to close the door?.It's enough for

me that you didn't even bother to knock before coming in." He replied sternly.My emotionless

face was still on as I closed the door."How's your studies so far?".He asked,not looking at me as

his eyes were busy scanning some documents.I rolled my eyes."You can roll your eyes all you

want,Hye Jin." He replied boringly."My studies are fine." I monotonely replied."Gymnastics?,I

heard that Nationals are coming soon.You better perform well or else you won't be shortlisted

for the Olympics". My dad reminded me like I didn't even know of such a thing."I'm learning new

skills so far.You don't have to worry". I replied with a hint of mockery in my tone.He finally looked

up at me."I never worry,because I know you're not that stupid to screw things up." He broke

down

the words one by one to get the idea in my head."Of course". I answered matter-of-factly.I

bowed down before leaving when my dad said,"Where were you earlier?".I stopped walking,my

back was still facing my dad."No where".I told him in a small voice."Look at me when I'm talking

to you".His voice was stern and scary.I faced my body towards him."I said,no where".I

confirmed."You're grounded for the whole month.No going anywhere except for trainings in

school".He said,satified.I scoffed and looked somewhere else."Well then,I'll come back once you

leave again

for your overseas business trips". I told him before storming out of the room."HAN HYE

JIN!,DON'T YOU DARE MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS!,COME BACK HERE!".My father's

voice echoed throughout the whole mansion that it was scary.I ignored and ran

downstairs,reaching for the rolls-royce car keys before my driver got a hold of my

hand."Miss,where are you going?!".He asked,shock.I pulled my hand away from his

grip."Anywhere but here".I stated and headed outside.My driver followed me."I'll drive,you're

underage and you don't know how to drive." My driver told me.I placed the car keys in his

hand."Good,I wasn't planning to drive myself anyway,unless people want me dead." I told him

coldly before sitting on the passenger seat.He started the engine and drove away.My driver

knew I was in a bad state at the moment.So instead of asking me what's wrong,he

asked."Where do you want to go,Miss?".I thought hard."The Park".I told him finally.He nodded

and drove to the park.Once we reached there,I stepped out of the car.My driver wind down the

window."What time shall I pick you up,Miss?". He asked.I held up my palm infront of him." You

don't have to worry,I'm sure I can survive on my own.I'll find a way to call you once I feel okay."I

told him.He tried digesting what I said before nodding."Be careful". He adviced.I felt so sorry for

him.If my dad knows that my driver sent me here without his consent,he would lose his job.I was

so selfish at this moment.He has a family to take care of.I always took his kindness towards me

for granted.I shook my head.When he was about to leave,I signaled him to stop the car.He

stepped out."Yes,Miss?".He asked."Yunho,if my dad fires you,I'll find a way to get your job

back.I promise.I can't go home right now,it doesn't feel right".I told him honestly.It was the first

time I called him by his real name.He half-smiled."Don't worry,Hye Jin.I'm alright.Take

care,okay?,it's getting late.I don't feel like leaving you here on your own.Do you know any of

your friend's address?".He asked me.I looked at my shoes."I don't have any close friends to

know their address". I confessed."But don't worry,I can manage". I told him,facing him this

time.He knew that I was stubborn so he went off,handing his phone to me just in case.Once the

car was out of sight,I walked solemnly to the park.It was almost 6pm.I have homeschool and

training tomorrow.Screw that,I need to clear my mind right now."Mom,if you're hearing me

now,please make dad the person he used to be when you were around.I miss you,mom.You

always knew what to do when things like this happen.I wish I was like you." I called out my

mom as tears stream down my face like waterfall.My crying became so bad that I had a hard

time to catch my breath.I covered my face with my hands and continued crying.

Luhan's POV

"Luhan,can you help me take out the trash please?". My mom called out from the

kitchen."Coming!. I told her from my room as I bookmarked the page I was reading.I was

studying chem as my class was having a mini exam tomorrow.I ran downstairs."Here,thank you

my dear boy." My mom said as she handed me the trash.I took the trash from her hand and

walked outside to throw the trash inside the big trashcan outside.When I was done,I saw a

familiar girl,sitting on one of the swing set,with her hands covering her face.Was she crying?.I

looked at her again.Her back profile looks like Hye Jin.But that couldn't be.A lot of girls look the

same from behind,right?.I walked closer to get a better view.It was Hye Jin.I walked towards

her direction.She was sobbing so hard.I placed my hand on her shoulder.She turned to face me

with her red eyes and puffed up cheeks."..Luhan?".She had a hard time talking.I knew that it

wasn't a time for interrogations so I pulled her hand slowly and lead her to my house.She didn't

know what was going on but she just followed me.I opned the door and asked her to sit down on

the couch."Luhan,what took you so long,-Who is this??".My mom was shocked when she saw

Hye Jin sitting on the couch.I gave her a look with my face and she just nodded."Make yourself

at home".My mom smiled at her and left both of us alone.I slowly sat next to her.Her crying was

starting to stop."Hye Jin?". I called her name softly.She didn't face me.I waited for a few minutes

until here eyes were on me."Hmm?".Shecalled out softly."Are you planning to

go home?".I asked.She kept quiet."You can stay here for the night if you want". I assured her.I

don't know,it just kills me to see her in this state.I'd rather see her acting high and mighty,calling

me commoner boy and all than to see her like this.I felt like giving her a hug but I knew I

couldn't.Her eyes lit up as she heard what I said."Really?".She asked.I nodded."Really". I

confirmed."But what about your mom?".She asked,worried."My mom is fine with it".I told

her.Suddenly,she placed her hand on mine.

"Thank you,Luhan".

It was the first time ever that I felt like she really meant it.
