You woke up next morning hoping you’d start fresh with Kris and you decided to change. You decided to become your old, friendly and lively self again even if it was just an act. You learn to hide your feelings more now after what had happened. Starting from today, you want to try to let Kris spend time with you and also Ji Min because you know, you and Kris might not last that long.

“I’m here.” – Kris

You smile at the text and rush towards the elevator; you greeted everyone you see on your way out and finally saw Kris’ car parked right in front of the entrance. You took a deep breath and kept smiling eventhough your heart was racing.

“Morning.” you chirped once you open the car’s door

He looks at you emptily and mumbled “Morning.”

“Did you sleep well?” you beam at him

“Yeah.” he nods

“Well, let’s get going then.” you buckle your seatbelt and smiled

He noticed your lively self and he wasn’t even sure it’s a good thing or not. Is it because you’re just happy of something or that you’re not jealous at the fact he spent last night with Ji Min at Night Street. It’s not like he was hoping you’d be jealous, now he knows that you probably don’t care.

“You’re not mad at me for spending time with Ji Min are you?” he suddenly asks

You couldn’t say yes, of course you can’t, who are you anyway? Just a fake girlfriend to him “Of course not, relax Kris, it’s not like I’m your real girlfriend anyway.” you chuckle “We even said we don’t have to act like a couple between ourselves and hey, I allow dating.” you smile “Besides, I feel like going on a date with someone too.” your word was quite a ‘pang’ to Kris because thinking you’re dating someone when you’re with him, even if it was fake seemed… Mean. It’s not like he’s dating Ji Min, they’re best friends and they go out to spend quality time together

“Date?”

“Yeah, you going on dates with Ji Min seem fun, I wanna do it too. It’s kinda bored sitting at home alone.” you sigh and sink into your seat

“If you were going to go on dates, you shouldn’t be making a deal to be my girlfriend then.” he said

*Calm down Hyo Ri, he’s always like this, calm down, you can do this.* “Yeah, maybe you’re right.” Kris jumped a little at your answer “But we’re here now, so let’s live it before it ends.” you grin
