Chapter 17
Our Little Deal
Once you both got into your condo, he went to the bathroom to take a brief shower while you tried to clean the stain off. Kris got out of the shower and dries himself up; he puts on his shirt and pants and went to find you in the bathroom of your bedroom.
He saw your hair tied in a messy ponytail and you were wearing simple clothes but he can’t help but to stare at your back profile; you still look somehow, beautiful. He slowly walks towards you; watching you trying to clean the stain carefully not to ruin his uniform.
“Is it coming off?” he asks
“Oh! You scared me.” you put a hand to your chest “Yes, a little, I’ll need to leave it in warm water for a while and then clean it again.” you reply
“Aish, this is all her fault.”
“Do I really have to repeat Kris? It was an accident. I’ll just leave it in warm water while we study; I’ll return it to you tomorrow okay?”
“Yeah.” he mutters
“Let’s go.” you went to the dining table and set the books and worksheets there “So songsaenim, what are you gonna teach me today?” you tried to sound excited
“Calculus.”
“Kill me now.” you lay flat on the floor
“No, don’t worry, you’ll die when the time comes.” he rolls his eyes
“Ugh, fine.” you got up and purse your lips “How do you put up with all of these anyway?”
“Albert Einstein didn’t just became brilliant without studying you know.” he looks at you "And Rome wasn't built in one day. An Empire can never be started without an effort."
“Fine, fine I get it.” you mumble with a small sigh
“Have you had any plans for the upcoming holiday yet?”
“Me? No, I’d rather stay at home and read novels.” you scoff
“You know, I didn’t expect you to be less annoying.” he suddenly said
“What?” you raise a brow “So you’re saying I’m annoying then?”
“Haven’t you realized then?”
“Woah woah, Mr.Wu, I am annoying when you annoy me.” you pointed out
“Okay, I didn’t come here to argue, but to teach you and study, let’s just do what I came here for.”
*Aish this guy, he’s the one who started it first.* “Hmm.” you mumble
After two straight hours of studying; you stretch your arms wide and let out a yawn. You rub your eyes and look at Kris who didn’t seem like he was tired at all. He kept writing and answering questions without needing to refer to the book too much while you on the other hand; well, let’s just say you refer to the book almost all the time, ALMOST.
