The week had gone by awfully for Ri In as after the funeral ended, she intended to stay for a little longer in Sichuan. LSM did not insist on having her back in Korea but letting her have some rest in China. Ri In had been locking herself in her room whilst filling herself with memories of hers and Li Xin. Nevertheless, she had promised Hankyung that after this week, she’ll be back the usual Ri In. As of in Korea, LSM had wrapped up all her work in US having the manager of Boa accompanying her. He had made it clear to CEO Kim that since he’s back in Korea, DBSK and Ri In will be under his charge and CEO Kim is no longer having the right in interfering anything regarding them.

DBSK had been busy in preparing their third Japanese single for the year. Two songs of the single were composed by Ri In and that she’s not around, it had put the five of them in trouble. Coming out from the elevator, Junsu happened to walk pass LSM’s office. Having his eyes wandering around, he sees Ri In hugging LSM. He wonders what makes the two of them hugging so tightly and closely.

“It seems another plan came to you mind,” Junsu crossed his arms, saying in a humiliating tone of voice.

The frail Ri In can’t help but tilted her head over her shoulder, not daring having her eyes meet his, she waits for his next cruel statement.

“I never know you stoop this low. Mr. Lee has a blissful family, if you think by being his mistress could earn you a better life,” he have his hands in the pocket, “Stop it, don’t you dare ruin his family. Having Hankyung, aren’t it more than enough. He’s rich enough to buy you everything you crave in this world.”

Taking in a very deep breath, she blinks her eyes restlessly in disbelief to what she just heard. Forcing the tears in her eyes to hold back from streaming down in front of Junsu, she retorted, “Yeah, I’m going near him in order to have a better life. With him, I don’t even need to work so hard in this industry. Satisfied with this answer?!”

Not letting her walk away from him, Junsu grabbed hold on her elbow. It surprised him much to know her hand had gotten smaller. She had dropped some weight yet again. “I’m being serious. How much do you want only you’ll leave Mr. Lee?”

Ri In turned to him. It was then that he realized the redness that overwhelming her eyes. “So am I. I’m also serious in each and everything I’m doing, and had done. Whether you’re warning or reprimanding me, it does not matter to me.” shoving his hand off her elbow, she turned around to have the tears in her eyes flow down.

“Apparently, the recording of Ri In’s Korean album will have to wait…”

Yunho was interrupted by Junsu, “Why is that? Aren’t she’s back already”

“Her sister just passed away,” Yunho poked on Junsu’s forehead. “Are you expecting her to continue working with such a lingering pain in her heart?” he rolled his eyes in annoyance. Holding on his arms, Junsu insist a clearer explanation, “What do you mean? Her sister, Li Xin died?”

Nodding his head, Yunho continued, “Her sister was trapped in a room during the earthquake. Since she was dumb, she wasn’t able to ask for help.”

“Poor Ri In,” Changmin feel sympathy for her. “Junsu hyung, are you alright? Your face looks so pale.” Junsu can’t believe what he had said to Ri In awhile ago. She was in such pain but why didn’t he showed in front him, this question gushing through his mind.

“Yunho oppa,” Yoona all of the sudden pulled Yunho out from the room. “Oppa, Ri In noona is missing. I, Yuri and Hankyung have no idea where’ve she been.”

“I’ll come with you…”

“Jang Ri In,” CEO Kim pulled her over from standing nearby the edge of the roof top. “What do you think you’re doing? Trying to commit suicide again?”

Swung off her hand from his, she retorted “If it’s wasn’t you, Li Xin won’t have died. If only you have tell me she’s in the ICU all this wouldn’t have happened! You were the one who killed her.” she shouted. Her emotion once again had gone into an unstable state.

Seeing her reacting so emotionally, he stopped provoking her. “Ri In calm down, whether I tell you earlier or later, you won’t be able to save her. You can’t give one of your kidneys to her.”

“Is that what you’ve been telling yourself in order to have your heart feel better?!” she yelled furiously.

“Her emotion had just stabled down,” Yoona covered with her right hand whilst her left hand tugging on Yunho’s sleeve. “CEO had affected her emotion.”

Gotten her knees on floor, she cried again. It has been so many times, Hankyung seeing her tearing through out the week. “All this while, I had been so obedient and listen to each and everything you asked me to and not to do. Even giving in the relationship of me and Junsu, I did as what you wished. Now he sees me as a person who willing to seduce people in order to get wealth.” Ri In put her head in her hands, “Deceiving each and everyone that I’m studying but the fact I was filling my free time doing nothing! And now that’s what I get from you! Why didn’t you keep your promise?!”

She got up and makes her way towards the exit of the roof top. It stunned her stood still to see Yunho was there. At that moment, her mind was frozen. Now that Yunho had eavesdropped what she just said, another person knows the secret of hers. He intends on follow after her as he sees Ri In running off but Hankyung stopped him.

“Since Ri In didn’t wants Junsu know about it,” he held on Yunho’s wrist, “Let this be a secret of hers that we need to keep.”

Staring down on the row of ants on the floor, Ri In filled herself in thoughts. Having her arms placed on her lap, she rested her chin on her hands. Suddenly, her cheek felt so cold that made her stood straight up from the picnic table, to see the person who hated her very much ever since those hurtful words spilled out.

Turning his head to see her face to face, Junsu handed her the iced bubble tea. “You like blueberry flavour, aren’t you?” he have a seat on the picnic table.

“If you’re here to give me more humiliation,” Ri In catch on her breath before continuing, “Please chooses a better time. I can’t guarantee you that I won’t punch you heavily since my emotion are not stable lately.”

“Sit down la,” Junsu pulled her seated down next to him. Gazing into her eyes intently, Junsu said it barely above a whisper. “How on earth could you bear receiving those humiliations? Why didn’t you tell me what had happened?” his hand reached across her face. Seeing her eyes’ not intending to meet his as the tears was formed again, he cupped her face with both his hands. Turning her to face him directly “I’m sorry, I don’t mean it and I’m not here to sneer or tease you. Instead, soothe you…”

Hold on his hands, Ri In brings it down. “It does not matter anymore…”

“Li Xin was a very cheerful, sweet and kind girl,” Junsu said as he rested his arms behind the table. “Unlike you, she always be very caring to others feeling.”

“Huh…I have no mood in bickering with you, Kim Junsu!” Ri In stood up, on her way walking off.

Immediately, Junsu grabbed hold on her hand pulling her into his arms, “I’m sorry, can we be friend. Be back to the time when we first met. I don’t wish to every time when I bumped into you, we’ll get into a quarrel.”

Pulling herself away from him, Ri In stared down to the ground, “There’s not a time I said you’re not my friend. You was he one treated me as an enemy.”

Feeling the plaster on her hand, he concernedly grabbed hold on it and gently rubs on it. “Did you attempt…”

“I’m sorry,” she cut him off. Withdrawing her hand from his, she seated down, “Frankly, I can no longer bear all this. Aside from me, I felt like giving up singing and return to the origin point where I first stepped.”

Watching her have her face buried in her palms, Junsu couldn’t help but gently pushed her head down resting on his shoulder. “Still remember what did you said to us when we were on the verge of giving up Japan?” Ri In remained silent as he continues, “If you were to give up so easily, what makes you different than us? Look back, do you think you have the right on saying that to us?” taking in a breathe, “The Jang Ri In I know, isn’t someone who give in no matter what kind of strong wave stormed you.”

A drip of tear landed on Junsu’s palm as she nodded her head, “I know. Li Xin wouldn’t want seeing me in this state as well.”

“Jang Ri In, hwaiting,” Junsu smiled. “This shoulder you’re lying on will always be ready for you. Whether it’s a sunny day or rainy day or maybe a cloudy day, you can always come rest your head on it.” Shrugging his shoulder a little, he assured, “It’s very reliable, don’t worry.”

A smile escaped her lips, “thank you, oppa.” She pulled his sleeve over to wipe off the tears on her face.

“Hey that’s disgusting…”

Smiling widely, Ri In pushed against his shoulder, “Didn’t you say this shoulder of yours is reliable?”

He brought his hands up to his hips, “That doesn’t mean including wiping or letting you sneezes with my shirt sleeve…”

Pouting her lips sadly, pretending, Ri In walked backwards, “Oppa, you won’t mind, I know you won’t.” the next second, Junsu noticed she was running away. “Yah Jang Ri In, you must be dreaming that I will let you off so easily. Don’t run…”

Ri In stopped as she stuck out her tongue with her thumb on her nose, smirk all over her face. “You won’t get to catch me!”

“Inhwan,” Taeyeon stopped him from entering the car, she handed her a pack of sweet, “This is for you, later during the recording, remember to ask Junsu oppa…”

“Do you like Taeyeon unnie…I remember. You’d reminded me hundred times!” Inhwan said as she rummages through the bag of sweets.

“So take good care of that kid,” Manager Min repeated again. “I’ll be there later.”

Ri In nodded her head frustratingly, “Kim Inhwan, the nephew of our company’s crew. I’ll take good care of him so please don’t repeat that sentence again, will you?” whirled to the back; she hopped into the car to see a familiar small figure.

“Hi Ri In noona,” Inhwan waved his hand at her frantically. “Why are you here? Are you Kim Inhwan?” Smiling widely, he admitted, “Yes, Kim Inhwan is me.” Ri In can’t believe there would be such a coincident to meet the kid she bumped into when she was working part time.

“Ri In, you’re here already,” Kang Ho Dong greeted Ri In with a pat on her back. “Yeah, I was asked to bring this kid here.” Ri In explained. “Oh cute boy…follow uncle okay, the recording will be commencing soon.”

“Hahaha…wasn’t that Junsu always do in Baloon MV? They look so alike.” KHD said. “Inhwanie, is there anything you’re curious with Junsu oppa?”

“Deh…” Inhwan looked up to see Junsu squatting down beside him. “I want to ask…” he turned over to Ri In then saw Taeyeon stood behind her signaling her to go ahead. “Hyung, do you like Ri In unnie?”

The atmosphere around the recording studio filled with uneasy silence. Ri In’s mouth stunned open upon hearing the question spilled off from Inhwan’s lips.

“Haha…Ri In unnie, is like my little sister. Of course I like her…” Junsu replied forcing himself with an awkward smile.

“It must be Ri In who asked Inhwan asked that question,” Taeyeon accused.

“I’ve not ask him to ask any question,” Ri In retorted. “Do you believe in me?” she eyed intently into Junsu’s eyes. Noises from the dressing room brought the other members in. “Kim Taeyeon, why are you here?” Jaejoong pointed at her.

Junsu looked away, coldly he said “I don’t see there’s any reason you won’t make use of a kid in order to get attention.”

Ri In was about to retort but her voice trailed away in disappointment upon hearing what’s on Junsu’s mind. She walked out the room in despair, seeing the situation has driven into this point, Yoochun chase after her.

“You didn’t ask Inhwan to say, aren’t you?” he grabbed hold on her wrist as she continues ignoring him. Yoochun flared up, “Don’t go. Explain to him, at least.”

“What’s the use of it?” Ri In was turned around by him. “It does not matter to anyone, anymore.”
