I cried because I was half happy and half sad.

Happy because that meant Sooyoung and Ji Young finally found out that they were suitable for eachother.

I realized that since long ago, I just wanted Ji Young by my side for a bit longer.

But I was sad because.... still, Taemin wasn't here and I couldn't hug Ji Young like I would have been able to.

I knew how selfish I was being, but I still wanted him a bit by my side.

I lowered my head in shame... and in guilt.

But all of a sudden, the phone began to ring.

I looked up and I listened to the ring tone.

The familiar song of SHINee's Bodyguard came on. 

Taemin.

I sighed and I walked up to the phone.

Great..... video call.

I thought for a minute and to make him feel how I felt... even though I knew how mean that was... I pressed accept.

Taemin was smiling...

Smiling

I scoffed and glared at him with pure hatred.

"Hey Minnie! Where did you go? Well actually, when did you go?"

I just stared at him like I was annoyed... or rather I actually was.

"Minnie? Are you okay?"

That set me off.... BAD.

"AM I OK?! NO ACTUALLY I AM PERFECTLY FINE AND I DON'T THINK YOU HAVE ANY REASON TO WORRY!"

Taemin looked really taken back and he was just looking at me.

"...so you're not ok?"
"NO OF COURSE I'M NOT! SOME B**CH KICKED MY STOMACH AND BROKE MY RIB AND NOW I'M IN THE HOSPITAL AGAIN WHILE YOU SPENT A GRAND TIME WITH YOUR NEW GIRLFRIEND!"

Taemin looked pretty unhappy now.... oh no.

"WELL I AM SORRY THAT I DIDN'T REALIZE EARLIER, BUT WHY WOULD YOU JUST START YELLING?! I AM WORRIED ABOUT YOU WHY CAN'T YOU JUST REALIZE THAT? AND MAYBE IF YOU LISTENED TO MY SIDE OF THE STORY, THEN MAYBE YOU WOULD KNOW THAT I....."

"FINE THEN! EXPLAIN TO ME WHY YOU DIDN'T REALIZE ME NOT BEING WITH YOU UNTIL LIKE 5 HOURS!"

"I..... I-"

"He was out playing with me unnie!"

My eyes rounded at Min-ah on the screen..... He was still with her?!

"Oh and unnie look!"

She lowered the screen.

"We have matching shirts!"

I froze.

Matching shirts?

Something he never did for me.... actually he never did anything that had to do with matching because he thought it was too corny.

Before Min-ah could continue, Taemin took his phone back.

When he looked at me, I was about to cry so much.

"Minnie I-"

"No Taemin.... I'm sorry..... "
I smiled.

"You are?"

"Yes... I am sorry I didn't realize how happy you were with Min-ah around you... And the shirt you matched with her...."

I chocked on my own words.

"You guys look really good together!"
"Wait Minnie don't tell me you're doing this again!"
"Doing what? I barely said anything"
My sanity was reaching its point... one more second of looking and talking to him would make me really insane.

"Don't tell me you want to-"
"Let's break up"

I said it.

I said the phrase that often is used to end a relationship with your lover.

I looked back at Taemin when I had control of myself.

He looked blank but he looked fine.

I should have done this earlier.

"Taemin?"

He snapped out of his daze.

"MInnie please don't... listen to m-"
"Good bye Taemin"

And I ended the call.

I thought about what I just said.

It was all over.

There was no longer me and Taemin.

I dropped my phone on the table next to me and blankly stared at the window....

Then.... I took my first step towards it.
