~Everything he ever wanted was right infront of him~

Description

It had a been a busy and hard day, you came home in a horrible mood, cursing under your breath about all the jobs your boss had made you do. It was about seven in the night and it was cold and raining and everything was annoying you. You kicked off your shoes as you closed the front door, practically threw your bag onto the couch in the next room, and continued to storm through to the kitchen. You got to the bench, and put your hands down, feeling like you were about to cry.

Earlier that morning you had a fight with Ryeowook. You felt so bad, you knew he didn't do anything wrong, you yelled at him because you couldn't find the keys to the car. He was being ever so helpful trying to find them for you, running around the house awkwardly. Eventually you did find the keys, hanging up on the hook at the front door, like they always were. You had left the house in such a fuss, not hearing what he said when you closed the car door, "See you when you get home beautiful" he said softly, waving to you and smiling so brightly despite how badly you'd treated him.

Just at that moment as you were regretting ever yelling at him, a soft voice came from the kitchen doorway, "Not a good day today?". Ryeowook walked over to you, and hugged your waist from behind, nestling his face on your shoulder next to your sad and weary face. You turned to look at him, he was smiling and looking into your eyes, for some sort of response. Your heart just melted, and you felt so safe and loved. You smiled at him and hugged him back, not saying a word. The both of you stood there in silence.

You stepped back and said, "I-I.. I'm sorry for getting so angry at you this morning.." twiddling your fingers and looking down. You still felt bad, even though you knew he had forgiven you already. He gave a short and sweet laugh, and kissed you on the forehead and smiled. That smile always got you, no matter how you were feeling, it warmed your heart like nothing else and all your worries were gone.

He then said calmly "Go sit by the fireplace, I'll bring you a hot chocolate." You did as he said and sat there smiling as you remembered the first time the two of you had met. It was a small cafe, it was your usual stop every morning before work, grab a coffee, and maybe something to eat, if you had time. On your way out, you'd always see this young, gorgeous boy with a perfect chiselled face sitting at the window seat drinking his latte and reading the news paper, there was always something about him that made you want to get to know him better. You'd always smile at him as you were leaving, hoping he'd notice you, he never did, until one morning. The night before you'd gone to bed early, thinking it'd be good for a change. You woke up earlier than usual, and had a lot of time to stuff around and do your hair perfectly, swap and change your outfit five times over and watch the morning news before you left. You left home early, not rushing and worrying if you had left anything at home. It was nice to be early. You stopped by at the cafe, walking in calm and composed, unlike every other morning where you would seemingly rush through the cafe door and speak so fast the lady at the counter mightn't be able to understand what you said. The lady at the counter greeted you and asked what you wanted and whether you wanted eat in, or take-away, you said eat in, you had plenty of time. You coincidently sat at the window chairs, on looking the busy morning street. Just minutes later, the cafe door opened, and in walked Ryeowook. That morning he had looked particularly good, his hair done PERFECTLY, and his clothes, just a simple pair of blue skinny leg jeans rolled up at the ankles, stylish shoes and a lose white top underneath and a warm looking jacket with a hoody. And his eyes, were as beautiful as ever. He went up to the counter, placed his order and came and sat down two seats down from you.

"TWO SEATS!!" you thought, he was so close. The smell of his cologne was subtle, but enough to reel you in even further. He looked up and flashed a sweet smile, you smiled back happily. "I can't believe it.. HE SMILED AT ME! HE NOTICED ME!" you thought, with such happiness. The waitress came by you and gave you your order, smiled and walked off. She came back and gave Ryeowook his order. He smiled at her and said thank-you, so kindly. You were jealous. It was silly but you couldn't bear to think that that he was talking to some else other than you. Heck, you two hadn't even talked before, let alone been acknowledged by each other. But today was different, you were going to talk to him. Even if it was just a "Hello!" you were going to do it. You finished your coffee and went to place it back at the counter, even though the waitress would take it after you left, saving them the trouble of doing it themselves seemed more polite. As you walked back to make your move, he already beat you to it. "I'm Ryeowook" he said, standing up and doing a cute hair flick. "Oh I..I'm Claire". He had beat you first. Could this mean he is interested in you? No.. He wouldn't be. But secretly, you hoped he was. He grabbed a napkin from the table, and wrote his number on it, with an "Xx" at the end. TWO KISSES. Your day couldn't get any better.
Later that night, after you got home from work, you dialled his number, praying he hadn't forgotten about you and after two rings, he picked up. That phone call went on for hours, you talked about everything together, it seemed like you'd known each other forever. And it started off from there, you'd have a coffee date almost every morning and regular phone calls were a priority after work.

"Here you go" he said, as he passed you your cup of hot chocolate. You were so into your day dream you almost got a fright as he came back with your drink. He sat down next to you in front of the fire place. Taking a sip of your hot drink, looking up into his warm eyes, you knew you had everything you ever needed right in front of you. The most perfect boy, with a smile that fixes everything. As you did this, you realized he was already looking at you, so intently and deeply. You laughed and looked down, embarrassed, and shy. In that moment, his hand lifted up your face, you had never been so in love at any other time in your life with him. He touched your cheek with his thumb, and saidm, "You are really the most stunning girl I've ever met, I never thought I'd even have a chance with you.." still looking at you closely with those warm eyes of his. He ran his hand through your hair, and fixed it behind your ear.. Placed his hand on your neck, leant in slowly.. Put his lips to yours and kissed you softly. There hadn't been a night more perfect than this for a very long time.

He then cuddled you, your hair. You felt safe, and like nothing could harm you, you moved your head to his lap, and started to fall asleep. He took your hand, and intertwined his fingers with yours, you pulled it close to your chest and said "I love you so much". Ryeowook moved closer to you, whispered in your ear and said "I love you more". Too tired to argue over who loved who more, you smiled and fell asleep. He then peered over at your face, curiously, pulling your hair back, and kissing you on the cheek. He quietly grabbed a rug from the couch, being careful not to wake you, and put it over you. He eventually got tired too, and moved in behind you, cuddling you all night, with his face comfortably resting behind yours. Ryeowook fell asleep that night, knowing that you were all he ever wanted and that he would protect you and love you for the rest of his life.
