Lee Hyukjae's entire family was slaughtered by vampire hunters more than a hundred years ago. He hasn't encountered another one of his kind, a vampire, ever since.

Unlike most vampires, he doesn't drink blood, not that it bothers him all that much anymore. After a hundred years or so, he's pretty accustomed to avoiding his inherent diet like the plague, despite the struggles of doing so. But he gets by.

Nowadays, Hyukjae wanders the peaceful city of Jameok, disguising himself as a normal, quiet and aloof human being with a huge appetite. For him, everyday is a simple routine of eating and hiding from human interaction. That is, until he meets Hyoyeon.

Bright, beautiful, awkward, and oddly irresistable, Hyukjae not only finds himself drawn to her, but it seems his thirst for blood is beginning to resurface with a vengeance. Particularly towards Hyoyeon.
