Tired of loving him with your all but at the same time , taking everything in ; his crush on that Business Girl , his ego , his depression .

...but then , you realized .

You realized that there've been his "good-days" where he would come in the lecture hall , all smiles . He would then specially find you and flash that trademark monkey-ish grin . When he would talk to you on the phone for hours , just because you couldnt sleep . He would call you 'darling' when your eyes are red from all the crying , took care of you when life is getting too hard for you to fight alone . 

You realized that he cares for you . That youre his ... what do they call it ? Oh , youre his almost girlfriend . ...just that you are not official .

....is not being official an adequate reason to break this friendship you have ?

You remembered that quote he used on you , "sometimes , its just too hard to hold everything together . And then , slowly , bit by bit , your grip loosens , and it'll feel like everything is falling apart ; probably because it is . But you dont have to worry , i'll be here ."

You let out a regretful sigh ; you cant bring yourself to hate him anymore than your love for him . 

Preparing your i'm-sorry  speech , you turned around . 

...nobody there . 

You smashed your head onto your table ; not caring about the pain that seared through your forehead :
