Eve of Destruction
Description
In 2264, the world declares war on Earth's newest species, the S4S16s. With their mutant abilities, the resulting fear has created the world's largest manhunt, with every government out for blood. One group of mutants have banded together with some humans in an attempt to try and save their race from being slaughtered However in doing so, they have now put themselves in the direct line of fire. The question is, will they survive and succeed in their goal or die trying?

Her heartbeat echoed in her ears as her vision failed her, pitching her into complete darkness. A second later, there was a crack, and suddenly she could see again. Panting, she felt her heartbeat speed up as she met the other girl's gaze. The stranger’s reaction was the same, with sweat beading on her forehead, and her face slightly flustered.
“What the hell was that?”

“People see us as monsters, things that purely kill…But the truth is that I think someone is setting us up. Someone or a group of people.”

They were S4S16s. Jinri felt as if the ground had dropped out from beneath her. Her mind went blank even as fear began to claw at her.

Foreword
Warning, this story will contain violence, inappropriate language and later on, character death. As this is supposed to be an action adventure, and not an angst story, people will NOT be dying left and right, however it may look like from the description. It is also required you have a vivid imagination; I will try my best to describe scenes for you, but since this is taking place in a futuristic timeline, you'll need to be able to picture that.
The main characters of this story are Infinite, Epik High, and various OC's. Other Kpop stars will be included (Boa, GDragon, Big Bang), but not introduced until later. It is not required to have any background knowledge of the groups; I am using their faces, their names, and to the best of my knowledge, their (tv) personas, and any references I make to them that Inspirits may know will not be important information. Again, you can read this and not know who Infinite or Epik High is, and still understand it.
This story is based off one of my older stories, 'Black Hole Sun', and therefore will share a few similarities. However, as it is a rewrite, a do-over because of my mistakes and problems with the original, there will be many more differences. In case anyone was curious, I've decided to name this rewrite 'Eve of Destruction', a song written by Barry McGuire, as the song is about war and how people say one thing but do another; they're willing to fight a war but refuse to acknowledge it. This story will be sharing some of those darker themes, and I felt it suited. Not to mention I seem to have a reoccurring theme of naming my stories after songs.
Aside from its Universe, the characters and some of its plot points, I hope to recreate 'Black Hole Sun' into something that will be remembered by my readers. I hope you all enjoy and thank you for joining me on this journey.
