Lingering Memories
Description
If someone asked her if she was alright, she would immediately answer, "I'm not." She would pause with a sad chuckle, "I'm not even close to the word 'alright' now. My heart has broken apart. The pain is still there. It hurts a lot. It was my first time experiencing this, and the pain is really not a joke."
And if someone else asked her whether she was going to be alright or not, she would answer with her awkward half-smile. Is she going to be alright? She doesn't know and she doesn't want to know. She just want to let time answer that question.
Foreword
First of all, this story is going to be a short one. Around 2-3 chapters, I think. At the first, I was planning to make this an one-shot. But I decide not to, because I realize it will be too long and killing the story right away. Therefore, I think it's better to divide into 2-3 chapters. Also, this is an entry for a writing contest; { ♥ } imperfections┊aff writing contest. This is my first attempt entering this kind of contest and my first time writing a story as well, so yeah.. good luck to myself. Oh, and please do enjoy reading the story. ♥
Oh, and I almost forget to write this down, but I'm using two prompts; prompt one "just friends" & ten "change hurts". And this story was also inspired by IU - I Really Don't Like Her and Wonder Girl - I Tried. I was inspired by their lyrics and it matches with the prompts too. I suggest you to listening to those songs while reading this, only my suggestion though.
