2 months have already passed. The boys have been busy, releasing teasers, training, training, and more training.

They’ve also been assigned new names, stage names. It’s all really different for the boys but they’ll get used to it more

Wu Fan being Kris, Minseok as Xiumin, Jongdae is Chen, Kyungsoo is now being known as D.O and his lover Jongin as Kai and now Yixing is Lay and Junmyeon- Suho.

The leaders finalized as well- Wu Fan being leader of EXO-M & Junmyeon leader of EXO-K

It’s already New Year’s Eve

“Can I come in?” Yixing looks up from his book to see Lu Han standing in the door way. “Sure ge come on in”

The boys of EXO-M have just returned from practice. They were only undertaking a short hour session after being granted the rest of the day off to celebrate New Year.

“Where’s everyone else?” Yixing asks as he sets his book to the side. “Well duizhang and Tao went shopping for a bit. Jongdae and Minseok have fallen asleep and yeah. I don’t know what the rest of our brothers are up too but yeah. Oh want to hear the plan for tonight?”

Lu Han offers Yixing the brightest smile his seen from the older in days and Yixing can’t help but return the beam right back at him. He knows it’s been tough for his gege for being split from his lover Se Hun, but Lu Han is so strong. His proud of the older male and he knows from Baekhyun that Se Hun is holding on tight too.

“Sure thing ge. What’s happening?”

Well Zitao and Wu Fan are spending the rest of the day together, Minseok is visiting his family with Jongdae and guess what guess what!” Yixing watches Lu Han amusedly and he laughs “Okay what is it Ge the suspense is killing me” he replies happily and kind of sarcastically

“Se Hunnie is introducing me to his family today!” Yixing laughs and pulls Lu Han into a tight hug “That’s great gege! So great!”

Lu Han pulls away still smiling “At 12 were all coming back here to celebrate the New Year too. Oh and I have a surprise for you too Lay!” Yixing arches an eyebrow “Lay?”

Lu Han nods “I’m trying to get used to all the new names so yeah” Yixing nods back “True. So what’s my surprise? I am spending the whole day alone”

Yixing frowns a bit as it dawns on him. Everyone has their respective places to be but him, his family is off in China. The couples have coupled and

Junmyeon is probably busy….

He quickly shakes the thought away and Lu Han spots the younger ones sadness “Hey this will make you really happy. We-“

There’s a knock on the door and Lu Han is up immediately, sprinting excitedly towards the door “Hey Lu Han Oi-“

“Hey Lu Han hyung”

The voice immediately causes Yixing to freeze in his spot.

What the-

“Junmyeon-ah come in!”

Yixing cowers into his bed and throws all the blankets over himself, burying himself in a tight and protected cocoon. He can still hear them though

“Where is he?” he hears Junmyeon asks Lu Han. “Wait here let me get him”

Get who? Who did Junmyeon come to see? Oh wait Suho. Doesn’t Suho mean something in Korean…what was it again?

He feels the bed dip “Oi Yixing-ah Junmyeon’s here get up” Yixing can feel his cheeks heat up immediately. Junmyeon came to get me? To see me?

“I can’t Lu Han! Hide me oh my god” Lu Han hears Yixing scream from under the covers. Lu Han giggles “So cute. Hurry!” he flings the covers off him revealing a dishevelled Yixing pouting

“I haven’t seen him since my birthday and-“ “It’s been two months. I know you really want to see him” Yixing bites down on his lip and nods sighing “I really do”

Lu Han grins and moves over to fix his messed up hair “That’s the spirit! Oh yeah and Yixing. Its new years. Shouldn’t you have a new year’s resolution?” Yixing eyes the older confusedly but he just smiles that Lu Han smile back at him

“You’ve got 5 minutes to ready yourself. I’ll be outside with Junmyeon”

Yixing watches as Lu Han shows himself outside and he groans loudly

“Aish what to do!”

Junmyeon fidgets over himself for the umpteenth time and Lu Han groans at the restless younger “Stop! You look fine don’t worry, honestly!”

Junmyeon paces around “I can’t help but fidget I mean today’s the day! I want it to be perfect. Uh my head is going to split soon”

Lu Han laughs shaking his head “Seriously it’ll be fine. Breath and relax okay?”

“Sorry I took long” Junmyeon holds his breath and looks towards the smiling Yixing as his heart pounds loudly in his chest. “Yixing” before he can stop himself, he flings himself right into Yixing and hugs him so tight

“Junmyeon-ah. Oh yeah congrats on being leader!” Yixing chuckles into the hug and feels himself relax, all the previous worries leaving his system being replaced with excitement and happiness

“Thank you”

Lu Han coughs awkwardly and the two realize they’ve been holding each other for quite some time now, releasing the other and smiling rather sheepishly

“Honestly you two. Well I shall go get ready and wake up Baozi and Chen. See you guys later!”

Lu Han bounces off, leaving the two alone in the room

“So how are you?” Yixing starts off. “Good. You?” Junmyeon answers, the smile never leaving his face. “Great.”

The conversation goes quiet

“Um did you need something hyung?” Yixing asks as he moves over to take a seat on the couch, Junmyeon doing the same and sitting beside him. “Wait you mean Lu Han didn’t tell you the reason why I was coming today?” Yixing frowns and shakes his head

“Oh. Well I guess I’ll tell you now then” Yixing nods eagerly and awaits his hyung’s explanation

“Well I was wondering if you wanted to have lunch with my family and me today.”

Junmyeon asks, nervously, anticipating, worriedly.

Will he accept? Was it too fast? But wait his been with my family and I so much already so why would he say no? But then again it’s-

“I’d love too” Yixing speaks so quietly, face furiously reddening as his eyes dart everywhere and refusing to look at Junmyeon

“Wait really?!” Junmyeon asks eagerly. His eyes light up and his smile only widens

Yixing finally looks up and chuckles at his hyung’s adorable expression “Yes really. Um is my dressing okay or should I-“

“No your dressing is fine you look amazing” Yixing blinks rapidly and Junmyeon coughs a bit awkwardly “I mean you always look good. Because like well it’s pretty natural but um- you know it’s-“ Junmyeon stops and sighs, ruffling his hair in frustration

Yixing still can’t find his voice and his head to the side in confusion “What I’m trying to say is you will always look amazing no mater what so yeah. You look fine” he finishes with difficulty

Yixing offers a small smile “Thank you”

“Shall we go now then?” Junmyeon asks standing up and offering a hand to the younger. “Sure” he takes his hyung’s hand shyly and grins that grin which showcases his dimples

“BYE LU HAN GE!” Yixing shouts loudly “See you Lu Han hyung!” Junmyeon screams after him

“BYE KIDS AND DON’T FORGET 12’OCLOCK GOT IT!” Lu Han screams back at the two

“YES SIR!”

Yixing stands outside of Junmyeon’s place nervously as the older rings the doorbell. Yixing fumbling over his clothes doesn’t notice Junmyeon’s eyes on him

“Ya stop that! Honestly you look fine. Don’t worry” Junmyeon says reassuringly

Yixing offers him a sheepish grin and nods a thank you to him, to nervous to even speak

Why am I so nervous now? I've been here many times before. It feels like were asking his parents blessings to get married….

The thought makes Yixing flush furiously

Hiding his face in the palm of his hands Junmyeon groans, taking his hand and holding it. Yixing jumps back a bit surprised while the other just smiles at him

Finally the door is opened
