“SM Academy, where your dreams come true”

“What a fancy slogan… they are just liars…” KyuHyun thought.

It is his first day on the SM Academy, a place where people can become artists… or maybe that’s what they want people to believe.

KyuHyun had always wanted to become a singer, and when he received a scholarship for the academy, he was really excited and happy; he would finally be able to fulfill his dream. Until he saw that scene…

           -- Some days before -- 

-          KyuHyun-sshi, please go to the market and buy some things – Mrs. Cho gave KyuHyun a small paper, with the list of things that he needed to buy.

He went to the market and bought all the things his beloved mother wrote, but as there was money he hadn’t spent yet, he decided to go to a café and drink something.

He entered the café and sat in a far away seat; he ordered cappuccino and waited till it was ready.

-          I can’t believe it! I thought I was good enough… - KyuHyun heard some girls talking, one of them was crying.

-          I told you that Academy is strict! It seems kind from outside, but inside is like hell… - one of her friends tried to comfort her.

KyuHyun watched that scene carefully, which was the company that they were talking about? Was is it really evil?

-          I still can’t believe it… I had a scholarship, so why did they kick me?  Why did they choose me if I wasn’t good enough?

-          Keep calm, Yoona, that SM Academy only uses people, there’s no point to be sad with yourself.

“What? SM Academy? Wasn’t it the school that gave me the scholarship?” KyuHyun began to freak out, and the girls were about to leave.

He quickly stood up and ran to the girls - Excuse me, did you just said SM Academy? – KyuHyun asked.

-          Yeah, what? Do you plan going there? – Yoona said, giving him a light smirk.

-          Yes… I have a scholarship on singing; I will be starting next week.

The girls started laughing at him, while KyuHyun stared at them without understanding.

-          Do you think someone like you will be able to last there more than a week? There are only three ways: being a prodigy from a rich family, being extremely good looking, of being popular. Obviously, to be talented is more important than being handsome or well known; and, looking at you, you don’t enter to any of those categories… - one of the girls said.

-          I am very talented! And popularity comes with time!

-          We are just warning you…

The group of girls left the store laughing; apparently, Yoona’s humor became better as KyuHyun’s worsened.

               -- End of Flashback --

Without a clue of what would happen later, KyuHyun entered the academy’s huge door.

He quickly saw lots of students, wearing apparently perfect uniforms, all of there were so good looking, that he felt out of place.  “Please, brain, remember me why I am here…” he started thinking “I don’t belong here, to the Academy of the ‘devil’ ’’

Lost in his thoughts, he didn’t realize he accidentally hit someone.

-          Aw…! Please, see where you are walking… - the boy said.

-          Huh? … oh! Sorry! Are you okay? – KyuHyun got back to himself.

-          Don’t worry, but please be more careful next time, ok? – The boy said with a wide smile.

The boy KyuHyun hit was smaller than him, had a pale face and a soft and sweet voice. “So this is what Yoona referred to when she said ‘good looking’, huh…?”

-          You are new here, aren’t you? – said the small boy.

-          Yes, I am Cho KyuHyun, 18 years; today is my first day.

-          So that means I am older than you? – The boy said, smiling – I am Lee Sungmin, 20 years old.

“Older than me? And for two years? What the happens with this world…”

-          He-hello, Sungmin-hyung – KyuHyun felt very strange to say that to someone smaller, and his baby face didn’t help much… - I’m really sorry for what happened before…

A broad smile was written on Sungmin’s face, he surely liked to be called like that – Don’t worry, KyuHyun-ah, the only thing that matters is that nobody was hurt okay? I have to go now, but I hope we see again soon!

KyuHyun felt happy to finally get to know someone, even if he was older than him, it was a start.

The bell rang and KyuHyun walked to his classroom.

Well... here ends the first "chapter" sorry for the mistakes T_T My main language is Spanish, but I like more writing in English XD
