"I liked you so much before but I'm quite sure now that I shouldn't have." Sungmin said as a tear fall. His hand, the one that holds
the scissors, is trembling really hard. Fear and adrenaline all rushing in his veins. What could have Siwon done if he did not try to
struggle, if he wasn't able to struggle? He wouldn't want to know.

Siwon looked at Sungmin who threw the scissors away before walking out of his room anxiously. The younger sighed and seemed to
regret what happened. What did he do to Sungmin? He scared his brother away. Instead of letting them be much closer... he made
Sungmin hate him. He closed his eyes and let his hand rest on his waist. He shouldn't have done that. All because he is jealous
of the attention Sungmin is giving to Kyuhyun. He shook his head regretfully. He shouldn't have done that.

Siwon tried forcing himself to Sungmin. The older swear he will never forgive him. What could have happened if he just let Siwon do
whatever to him? He'll definitely be crazy. He might kill himself for hating his future brother that much. He swear he'll never look at
Siwon in the eyes again... he could never anymore. He might as well leave this hell. Sungmin's hands are shaking as he walked back
to his room rapidly. The thought of Siwon his face and almost slipping his hand inside the older's pants makes him feel
disgusted and dirty that he almost sob to tears. Is this the price he needs to pay for living in this beautiful mansion? His life has
gotten to its worst since he came here. And Siwon, the man he has fantasized from the very  beginning suddenly become the worst
nightmare he would ever had.

Sungmin was walking anxiously towards his room when he felt a hand gripping one of his arms. He thought it was Siwon so he immediately
struggled to get away. He moved his arms up and down, shaking it off as if shooing a dangerous bee with all the force he could give
and letting the gripping hand to move away voluntarily. He swear he'll never stand close to Siwon anymore...nor will he let the older
Choi to touch even the tiniest part of his body. Never.

"Yah... what's wrong?" Kyuhyun asked, concern and bewildered with the reaction he gets.

The magnae was surprised to see an overly struggling repel from Sungmin as if the older was terrified of him. What has happen to Sungmin?
Why are his eyes wet? He looks overly terrified. What has happened? Where was he?

Sungmin looked at him; shocked as if asking for help but was slightly relief that it was Kyuhyun who appeared before him, if it
happened to be Siwon, he might resort to jumping from the second floor and kill himself. He kept his trembling hands that ached to
reached for Kyuhyun. He won't do it. He can still handle himself.

"N-nothing." Sungmin looked down just walked away. Kyuhyun just watched him walk away. What happened to the older man? He's quite
sure it is the first time Sungmin has repelled to him that much. It's way too exaggerated. compared to the times when he would piss
Sungmin off, as if Kyuhyun has an overly disgusting infectious disease.

Sungmin stayed in his room and made sure the door is locked for the whole day. He washed his face trying not to feel Siwon's skin on
him. He rubbed himself roughly just to make sure that none of Siwon's essence will linger around his body. He still can't believe
the older Choi would do this to him. Those actions, those terrifying stares are so clear in his mind that he thinks Siwon is a walking
beast, ready to attack anytime. He doubled check the lock before sitting behind the door. He was scared of going out, what if
Siwon is just outside the room. What if he forced himself again like a while ago. He closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down.

Maybe he should leave this place. His mom has a new family now. He is not needed here anymore. But...

Sungmin recalled the past men in his mom's life; they all started to be good until they've shown their own beasts inside them and
made his mom's life even more worst. He can't leave this place. Not unless his mom is with him. He needs to injure being treated like
this.

A soft knock was made from outside his room. He immediately opened his eyes. Who was it? His heart pounded so hard. He has been too
paranoid today. but can anybody blame him? Nobody has treated him anymore lowly than what Siwon did to him. He could accept the
disgusting kisses and the language but beyond that is just something he won't tolerate anymore.

"Sungmin hyung..."

A gentle voice from Siwon was heard from outside of his door. Sungmin turned to the door but as Siwon's voice is gentle, Sungmin just
calmly looked at the door. He heard a sigh from the young man. "Hyung..." Sungmin sat up and listened to him although he didn't
bother to open the door in fact, he's still scared to open the door.

"I'm sorry I did that." Siwon looked down and rested his back at the door of Sungmin's room. "I'm stupid, ain't I? I was so jealous
and upset but I shouldn't have done that to you." Siwon looked down. "I'm so jealous that I can always see Kyuhyun in your eyes, why
can he get your attention so easily?" Siwon sighed deeply. "I'm sorry that I'm so stupid to treat you like
that. I just can't get myself to understand how you could have a change of heart and why does it have to be Kyuhyun?"
He turned to the door as if seeing his hyung there. "You won't be talking to me again, will you?"

Sungmin heard a heavy sigh from Siwon. "I know that I was wrong and I really can't blame you if you'll hate me for what I did. I'm
really sorry Sungmin hyung. I'm really sorry. I hope...you can still forgive me."

Sungmin looked down as he listened. Donghae asked him whether he likes Kyuhyun, now even Siwon is saying that he has a change of
heart and it is Kyuhyun who made him change his heart. How sure are they that Kyuhyun changed his heart? Even he cannot describe his
feelings for the magnae. And even if he does have feelings for Kyuhyun, Siwon shouldn't have done that to him because of that. Why is he
even competing with Kyuhyun when the younger doesn't even have anything that Siwon could probably have. Siwon is the right hand of
their father, a role model, someone everybody admires, top in his class. What does Kyuhyun have? He has nothing except
for the voice that has swept everyone inside the auditorium. Siwon has everything...so why is he jealous of Kyuhyun?

"From what I recall from Mr. Choi, their mom died when she a few years after giving birth to Kyuhyun. That time, Siwon is only 2 years
old. What would you expect from a child that age? Of course, he would want her attention. But their mom gave all her attention to
Kyuhyun until the last of her breath."

Sungmin looked down as he sighed across his telephone. So it's all about some childhood past. Siwon can't live with the thought that
his mom loved Kyuhyun more.

"But... I mean he does have the attention now. I mean look at Kyuhyun, he's just a good for nothing jerk." he said. He heard Lee Umma
chuckled over the phone.

"Actually, Kyuhyun has an I.Q of a genius." Lee Umma said over the phone making Sungmin straightened up. Which part of Kyuhyun is
genius? Look at him, he sleeps in the class, he can barely pass a subject, he can barely listen to any teacher! "He doesn't need to
study hard just to get into college, to tell you the truth, he passed the entrance exam in National University of Seoul but he said
he'll study in SMU for the sake of his dad. For Siwon...uhm..." Lee Umma halted and thought for a while. "Mr. Choi said Siwon is hardworking, he's always hardworking
that's why he's always on top. Other than that, he is the older son so even if their father doesn't put pressure on them, Siwon
pressures himself to always be on top."

Now Sungmin understands why there is competition. He's glad his mom called, he got the chance to ask this. Somehow he understands
why Siwon doesn't like Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun has the ability to take things away from him in a snap while Siwon needs to work hard just to
achieve something. It must be tough for Siwon too. Thinking about their situation, Siwon had first had Sungmin and he tried his best
to keep the older to him, but Kyuhyun can be too insistent that he can easily get Sungmin's attention. It must be so disappointing for
Siwon that after trying hard to keep Sungmin under his wings, the playfulness of his brother effortlessly and (still unaware) took
Sungmin away.

Still, the thought of almost harrassing him just because they are in this internal competition doesn't make sense to him. He's not a
prize for goodness' sake!

After having this thought, Sungmin has convinced himself that he is still upset with Siwon but he scrapped himself from the thought
of hating him because they are going to be brothers anytime soon and that they will still be seeing each other for the rest of the
days he and his mom will stay here. But right now, he knows clearly he cannot be close to Siwon anymore. Not as close as almost falling for him again.

Even after few days, Sungmin is still avoiding Siwon despite the younger being sincere in his apology. Sungmin doesn't want to
ignore him but whenever he sees Siwon he cannot stop remembering what he did that day. Those cold glare that gives him nightmares
and his hands that almost touched him somewhere important made him shiver with just the thought.

"Hyung..."

The younger sounding as gentle again. Sungmin cannot dare look at him anymore, after what
has happened, how can he look at Siwon in the eyes? He knows better he'll be ignoring this step brother of him for the rest of
their lives.

"Please don't ignore me." Siwon said tailing Sungmin anywhere he goes. The younger sighed and looked down. "Hyung... I hope you
can forgive me even before I leave."

Sungmin stopped when he heard this. He turned to the younger. "You're leaving?"  No, this is not Sungmin's intention. If there is
anyone here who has to leave, it should be him. He is a third wheel in the house. It feels like he shooed off one of the owner of the
house now that Siwon has plans of leaving. Why would Siwon have to leave? He can just shoo Sungmin away.

"I know better I shouldn't have done what I did and because of that I don't want you to avoid me for the rest of our lives." Siwon
looked down looking really sorry for what he did. "I'm really sorry, hyung." He has decided that time when he knocked on Sungmin's
door and the older ignored him despite his sincere apology that he can't be with his hyung anymore. He cannot see himself having the
same relationship with Sungmin anymore... and it's all his fault. Sungmin looked down as well, guilty that it seems like he's sending
the younger man away from his very own house.

"I don't hate you, Siwon ah. But-" how can he say that it's hard for him to treat the younger the way he did before? How can he say
that it'll be hard to see Siwon as the gentle, loving man he used to love? How can he say that things are overly different now after
what the younger has done?

Siwon nodded. He understand it clearly. In fact, if he is in Sungmin's shoes, he might spit on himself and shame himself for life.
Maybe Sungmin is really kind-hearted and innocent, maybe he was just stuck in between the competition. He looked at the older for
the last time and turned his back. The older just followed him with a sight, still hoping for Siwon's success in the future.

Kyuhyun lazily walked towards the receiving area as the home phone is deafening his ears. He's just so lazy to pick up the call but
it still insisted on ringing. Where is Sungmin? Why isn't he answering the phone? Aigoo~ Kyuhyun thought. He lazily took the wireless
phone and answered lazily. "Hello."

"Appa?" he wondered. "Oh...everything fine." he doesn't like talking on the phone. He hates the noisy backgrounds and the almost
can't be heard voices from the other line. He hated the feedback and hates it everytime he hears his voice saying the same thing. He hates
asking What? Again? Huh? Can you repeat what you say? You can call him deaf but he's that how impatient he is with telephones.

"Kyuhyun ah... Did you had a fight with Siwon?" Choi Appa asked.

Ridiculous! Are you kidding? Its not like we don't always fight. He thought. He sighed and heard his father saying aigoo to himself as if his old
man already knows the answer. Why did Choi Appa even asked that question.

"Appa..." he said about to reason out. He didn't do anything wrong to Siwon these days... well except for claiming Sungmin to be his which is
slightly true.

"Alright. I was just wondering why Siwon suddenly decided to follow me here in Boston."

Even Kyuhyun was surprised to hear that Siwon is in Boston. When did he even leave the house? Was he that distant to his older
brother that he doesn't even know he's not existing at home anymore? "I-I'm not quite sure." he said.

"Never mind. Anyway, I just called to inform you that he'll be staying here with us for the time being. I knew you wouldn't know about this.
 I don't know what happened between the 2 of you but he said he'll stay here for the meantime."

"Oh."
Kyuhyun doesn't know what else to answer except for his lazy oh because its not like he cares whether Siwon stays with his father
or at home, either way they don't exist in each other's life. He heard their mom being noisy from the background saying he wants
to talk to Kyuhyun as well.

"Kyuhyun ah..." he heard Lee Umma on the phone.

"Oh? Umma." he answered shortly.

"Take care of yourselves there, ok?" Lee Umma's voice seemed worried and is about to cry. "And don't bully my Sungmin too much!"

He chuckled as he heard Lee Umma joking despite seemingly crying. "Oh." he said again as he shook his head. Why did his dad fall for this kind
of woman?

"Look after each other, ok? Umma regrets that the two of you are left at home...if I knew it'll be too boring here, I could have
just stay there."

Kyuhyun straightened up with what the old woman said.  Did Lee Umma said he and Sungmin will be left home alone? The older woman is
 still saying things but it didn't register to Kyuhyun as he smiled when he heard that there will be only him and Sungmin  inside there big house.
Who knows when they'll be back. He's quite sure it won't be soon because his dad is really working hard on establishing the school in Boston.
A childish grin, semi-no sound-laugh escaped from his from his throat.

"We'll be fine, Umma. Don't worry. Sungmin hyung is in good hands."

A smirk was left in his lips when he hang up the phone. What could be better than answering this phone call? He's thankful Sungmin is nowhere
around that he was able to answer that very important call. He laughed a hehehehehe laugh from his through while rubbing both palms against
each other.

Sungmin and him alone?
