*Taeng’s POV

I am on my way on my secret place.

Since it is still lunch break I decided to go upstairs to rooftop.

I was going to open the door when I suddenly hear someone shouting.

I find the voice familiar so with my curiosity I decided to peek in.

First, I couldn’t believe on what I saw.

I saw Yul shouting to helpless Jessica.

I decided to hear what they’re talking about.

I found Yul so annoying.

He’s acting so childish.

He’s being so protective that someone will find it annoying.

Then I saw Jessica started crying.

I feel my heart breaking into million pieces.

I don’t want to see her like this.

When I saw Yul was about to get out, I hide myself.

When the perfect timing occurred I took my chance to go to her.

I hugged her.

She refused to.

“You, you’re the one who should be blame, if only you don’t join that contest! If only you stop following me around! Yul will not hate me!” She shouted on me.

I feel my heart throbbed with great pain.

“I’m sorry Jessica.” I said without breaking the hug.

“I... want... to... go... home...” She muttered.

I could feel she’s having hard time breathing.

She was catching her breath since she’s crying for minutes.

I give her a piggyback ride because I feel she’s been so exhausted.

I made my way through the hallway.

I don’t care what they will think of.

I don’t care with a lots of crying fan girls of mine, dying with jealousy.

I feel so sorry with what I did.

I could feel her breath is back to normal again. I guess she’s sleeping now.

She needed it.

She needed to take a rest from the pain of reality.

I give her a lift through her home.

I carry her on the way to her room.

I lay her down to her bed.

I stare at her.

“You should not suffer from this I’m sorry.” I whispered.

I explained everything to her parents afterwards.

I think they understand.

They invited me for a dinner.

I couldn’t say no since they’re offering it as a thank you for what I’ve done.

After the dinner, I asked them if I can I checked on Jessica’s room.

They agreed.

I opened the door and took a peek.

She’s sleeping peacefully.

You should not feel this kind of pain.
