“Hey mom!” Kai spoke into the phone, finally picking up after being harassed by his mother calling for the last three hours.
“No mom, I wasn’t ignoring you, I was just busy,” Kai chuckled softly and shook his head.
It was true; he was busy, working on his newest painting.
“No mom… I wasn’t painting, I was…” Kai paused for a moment, trying to think of something smart to say.
For years now, Kai had been devoted to his painting, but his parents, especially his mother grew concerned for him.
Sure their son was a talented artist and had sold paintings for several billion dollars, but he had yet to get a wife.
With his devotion to his art, Kai didn’t have time for dating.
He had a girlfriend once, they were engaged to be married, but he kept neglecting her and she broke it off, because believe it or not, for a gold digger like her, being neglected was so not worth Kai’s fortune.
Kai did however go out every once in a while and have one night stands.
“..I was talking to my girlfriend,” he continued after a short thinking break.
His mother began to scold him about talking to his girlfriend for three whole hours, but the second she finished that rant, she apologized and squealed before shooting thousands of questions at Kai about his girlfriend and just because of this Kai lied again.
“You can ask her yourself when we come to visit for the holyday.”
His mother agreed and on that and said she couldn’t wait to meet Kai’s new girlfriend.

After finally getting his mother to hang up, Kai slapped his own forehead.
“!” he cursed loudly.
He was so screwed, how was he going to find the perfect girlfriend in three weeks?
That’s when his secretary, his best friend, came walking inside the studio.
“Umm Sir? Are you alright?”
Kai turned to the boy and he looked him up and down.
“Everything is fine Taemin, everything is just perfect,” he grinned at the other.
“Okay…?” Taemin said awkwardly and turned to walk back outside, unaware of his best friend and boss checking out his walk.
