Years past that their friendship drifted a bit, yemi and Anna got to have a bunch of girl friends, yonghwa became

active with the school extracurricular activities. Now that they are in their third year in high school. “you’re going to

leave me?” Anna pouted talking to yemi, yemi rolled her eyes. “I’ll just visit my grandmother who is in Ulsan, she is

my granmom’s sister, besides, it is our winter break. I wanted to experience some adventure” yemi said. anna just

nod, “arasso, but don’t forget to bring me something when you get back” yemi hugged her “of course my dearest

bestfriend. Oh, isn’t that yonghwa? Is he and sunmi a thing now?” anna turned to see what yemi is talking about.

There she saw yonghwa and sunmi arm in arm laughing like they are the only people in the campus. Anna felt

something inside her. its like some sharp object was stuck in her heart. She tried to smile. “they look good together,

sunmi is a nice person, she and I are working on the student paper, I like her” anna said looking at yemi. Yemi frown,

“hey, I’m your bestfriend I can tell you like him” anna smiled faintly. “just leave it there yemi, I’m okay. Come on, I

better get back to the house, my grandma will be arriving soon with my cousin” Anna said pulling Yemi, she glance at

yonghwa again and smiled.

Winter Break, Anna spend most of her time in her room, online talking to Yemi, she miss her bestfriend. Even though

they’ve got other friends she still confides to yemi, for yemi is like a real sister to her. she knows her more that she

knows herself. anna was about to log out when her messenger pop up a new message. To her surprise it was from

the guy she least thought of messaging her. “hey wassup?” yonghwa asked. “just chillin’.” She replied not asking about

him to end the conversation already. though she wanted to bring back the closeness, she will not entertain it, it will

only bring her heartache. “woah, cold reply. I miss YOU. And Yemi” Anna’s eyes fixated on the emphasis of “you” she

can’t help but smile. her taitor heart is doing it again. being stupidly infatuated with this guy. They ended up

exchanging messages for hours, “hey, how’s sunmi?” anna asked. She bit her lower lip when she realize she just spoil

their moment. “oh, she’s great, we are great” her heart was like crushed reading that. she swallow hard when she

notice a lump on . “how about you? Any guy you liking?” he asked. “guess what? it is you” she wanted to

type that, but she knows it’s a little stupid. “guys are just distractions” anna replied instead. “really? Tell me, what is

your ideal guy” she was surprised by the sudden question, sure they are close but she didn’t see that one coming. Her

heart beats faster, she wanted to type “you” but that will spoil the moment.  “really yonghwa we are having this talk?

Well just to satisfy you, I want guys who are the opposite of you” she lied. “bwo? What is wrong with me, I’m perfect

^_________^” he replied. she chuckled she can imagine his smirk, showing off her crooked tooth. “yeah, that’s why,

I don’t want a perfect guy, I want him to have flaws” she said. “oh” her brows furrowed when that’s the only reply

she got from him. After a few seconds, he still didn’t reply. “hey are you still there?” she send. To her dismay, he log

off, “what is wrong with him?” she decided to log out instead.
