I Hate You

Khunyoung Oneshots

Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul was loved by everyone, because seriously; who wouldn't love the handsome adorably puppy-like Thai exchange student? Girls were screaming all over him, claiming how cute he was and boys were just thrilled about having a foreigner as a friend. The fact that the new guy couldn't even speak a single word in Korean fascinated them all. Yes, everyone loved him. Maybe exactly that was the reason why Jang Wooyoung didn't.

Wooyoung was probably that what you would call an ordinary student, but he had some friends that were dear to him. He couldn't say that he really liked school, but he had some fun there. But since that Thai came to his class everyone's attention was drawn to him and even his best friend Chansung was literally glued to the new boy.

His other two best friends, Junho and Junsu weren't, though but they were a couple and it was really awkward to be alone with them – too lovey dovey. So Wooyoung started to dislike the Thai, for 'stealing' his best friend. Deep in his mind he knew that it wasn't Nichkhun's fault at all, but well… he just didn't like him.

After some weeks, he noticed how his heart started to race when he saw the Thai. His gaze naturally followed all of his movements unless he didn't scold himself. It was that time as well, when he noticed that he actually never spoke to Nichkhun and was probably the only one. Even Junsu and Junho were sometimes seen with him, talking about something random.

Was it him who avoided the Thai or the other way around? He didn't know, so he started to watch him even more. He noticed that, yes, he was really the only one who never spoke to him and, no, it was Nichkhun who was avoiding contact with him.

Well, he didn't care. Why should he? He didn't like him, so it was perfectly fine, right? Then why would he turn sad whenever he saw Nichkhun talking to someone, whenever he saw him across the room, just to know that the Thai would never return his look? Why was his heartbeat skipping, his cheeks burning? He didn't know; he didn't want to know.

He hated Nichkhun.

---

Some time later their teacher announced that they would have a school trip to the sea. Chansung almost jumped on Wooyoung when he heard it, grinning widely at him. "This will be great, Woo. The sea!" he shook him a bit.

Wooyoung just laughed and shook his head slightly. Yes, Chansung was always that excited when a school trip came up. Junsu and Junho approached them. "The rooms are already arranged. The list is pinned to the wall, there." The younger of them said, but pouted slightly.

"What's wrong?" Wooyoung asked; normally Junho was even a bit too cheerful.

Junsu answered for him. "He's just angry, because we have separated rooms." The oldest shook his head slightly.

Chansung snorted, but grinned. "The teachers can't risk you having dirty , while they watch out."

Junho hit his shoulder. "Says the youngest. What about you and Taec? You're always glued to him, like your life depends on it."

"I'm not doing it in school with him." The younger defended himself, but a dirty smile crossed his face.

"Just because he's not going to the same school as you." Junho said exactly, what Chansung had thought.

While the younger two fought a bit more, Wooyoung turned to Junsu. "Do you know who I share a room with?" he asked.

Junsu nodded immediately. "Yes, you are with me and Nichkhun." It was a cliché, but Wooyoung almost choked on the water he just wanted to drink and looked shocked at the older.

"N… Nichkhun?" he pressed out between gritted teeth.

Junsu oddly retuned his look. "Yes. Is there a problem?" he asked, a bit concerned.

Wooyoung forced a smile. "No. I was just surprised." He said, feeling his heart speeding up. Oh great.

---

After another week it was the day of their trip. They arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, getting their keys from their teacher and then searching for their rooms. Wooyoung was walking on the left side of Junsu, while Nichkhun was on his right. The oldest just couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable; there was a weird tension between his two roommates.

The room was nice; beige walls, enough space for the three of them, three big, soft looking beds. Yes, it was really nice. Wooyoung dropped his bag on the bed near the window and looked out of it. He had a perfect view of the beach and the sea from here. When he turned around, he noticed that Junsu didn't take the bed next to him, but the one right next to the bathroom door. He tilted his head a bit and saw Nichkhun unpacking his things on the bed in the middle.

The Thai looked up when he noticed that someone was watching him. When his eyes met Wooyoung's, he smiled at him. The latter just looked away, folding his hands over his chest; he was damn sure that his heartbeat could be seen through the fabric of his t-shirt.

With a weird combination of a sigh and a pout Nichkhun continued to unpack his belongings.

Junsu observed them; Wooyoung was really acting strange in his opinion. He would have to talk to Junho about this.

---

They were supposed to go to the beach to meet up with the rest of their class. To celebrate their first day, they would have a big bonfire. Wooyoung was really not in the mood for celebrating anything, but when Chansung came to their room, putting an arm around his shoulder, dragging him out of the hotel, he didn't really have a choice. Fortunately Chansung's happy mood rubbed off on him and he soon found himself grinning and laughing along with the younger and Junho.

It was about 2 am when their teacher called it a day and sent them – not without protest from the students – back to their rooms. Wooyoung literally had to force Junho to let go of his boyfriend, but the younger ended up curled against Junsu in his bed, anyway. Wooyoung couldn't hide a chuckle, when he saw the fond smile on Junsu's face. The oldest always claimed that Junho was way too clingy, but truth was that he didn't mind at all; he loved Junho after all.

Wooyoung risked a glance at Nichkhun, just to meet his eyes, which were currently watching him. "Uh… You don't mind them, do you?" he asked, realizing that this was the first thing he ever said to the Thai. The latter shook his head.

"No. You?" he asked, tilting his head to the side.

Wooyoung raised an eyebrow, but surprised both of them when he actually smiled at Nichkhun. "I know them for 5 years now and they are a couple for 3. I'm used to this." He simply said.

Maybe it was just his imagination, but he thought that Nichkhun looked a bit nervous. "Hm… what about you and… Chansung ah? Are you two…" he stopped and bit his lip.

Wooyoung just stared at him for a moment. He couldn't help but think that Nichkhun looked really cute right now. His heartbeat was racing again. Damn. "Definitely not." He slowly answered, trying to sound amused. "Chan has a boyfriend, but Taecyeon isn't at our school." He then said, returning his gaze to his own bed, missing the relieved look on Khun's face. "They live in the same neighbourhood."

"Ah…" Nichkhun just nodded slightly, and then looked around the room as if he didn't know what to do. "Well… I'll go take a shower." He mumbled more to himself and went into the bathroom.

Wooyoung looked after him. "Don't just stare. Go after him, if you want him so desperately." He flinched when he heard Junho's voice from behind. The younger grinned up to him, his hand caressing Junsu's chest, who was already sleeping deeply.

Wooyoung blushed a crimson colour and threw a pillow at him, causing the oldest of them to wake up. "W-who wants him? Shut up!" He snapped and exited the room, leaving a chuckling Junho and a confused Junsu behind. He sneaked around a corner, watching out that no one saw him and went straight back to the beach.

The worst was; Junho was right. But he would never ever admit that.

Wooyoung sat down on a rock and looked at the sea. He put his head into his hands and inhaled deeply. It's not like he didn't want to get to know Nichkhun; he did more than he should, really. But the Thai was the one who didn't talk to him. Right? Then what should he do?

Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul, I hate you for making me feel like that.

---

After a while, Wooyoung stood up. If his teacher would see him, he would be in trouble, so he sneaked back to his room. Junho and Junsu were both asleep now and Nichkhun was sleeping as well. He could hear the steady breathing. He looked at Nichkhun for a few seconds, before slowly going to the Thai's bed and kneeling down in front of it.

Nichkhun looked really peaceful when he was sleeping, almost angelic. Wooyoung couldn't resist and brushed a loose bang from his eyes. He held his breath when the Thai shifted in his sleep, but Nichkhun didn't wake up. Relieved, he closed his eyes briefly and sighed.

"What have you done to me?" he whispered, praying that Nichkhun wouldn't wake up and leaned closer, softly placing his lips on the Thai's. His heartbeat skipped and he felt his cheeks burning, but he deepened the kiss a little bit.

When he leaned back, he tensed. Nichkhun's eyes were half open, watching him. But when Wooyoung tried to stand up, the Thai took his hand, stopping him. "Don't go." He whispered softly and pulled Wooyoung closer, so that he was half lying on the bed. "Stay." It sounded more like a question, a wish, than an order and when Nichkhun smiled at him, Wooyoung's brain just stopped working and he lay down next to the Thai.

Nichkhun placed one hand around his waist and the other on his neck, leaning closer. He placed his lips on Wooyoung's for a fond kiss, deepening it when he felt Wooyoung's hand clutching his shirt. He pulled him even closer until he could feel their hearts beating against each other.

---

The next day, Junho was the first one to wake up. He snuggled closer to Junsu, when his look fell on Nichkhun's bed. He twitched his eyebrows when he noticed that the Thai wasn't the only one, who lay on it. His look wandered to Wooyoung's bed and a grin spread over his face when he found it completely unused and empty. He nudged Junsu until the older woke up.

"Hyung, look." He whispered and pointed a finger at the two.

Junsu frowned and blinked his eyes a few times. "Is that Wooyoung?" he then asked, causing Junho to chuckle.

"Yep. It's him." A smile appeared on the elder's face and he shook his head slightly. When they noticed that Nichkhun was slowly waking up, they both pretended to sleep.

---

Nichkhun slowly opened his eyes, looking straight into Wooyoung's face. First surprised, he winced a bit, but then remembered the last night and smiled. the younger's hair, he caused him to wake up as well. Nichkhun held his breath when Wooyoung widened his eyes on seeing him.

"I… What am I doing here?" he asked with a husky voice, trying to stand up, but Nichkhun didn't let him.

He wrapped his arms around him and hugged him tightly. "Stay." He whispered just like the last night.

Wooyoung blushed, once again because of Nichkhun. "Why?" was all he could ask.

"I don't want you to go." Nichkhun nuzzled his neck. "I like you." After the words slipped out of his mouth he held his breath.

The younger widened his eyes and pushed Nichkhun back, holding him by the shoulders. "What did you say?"

"I like you." He repeated sincerely. When Wooyoung just widened his eyes even more, Nichkhun sighed. "Is it so hard to believe that?"

"Well, yes." Wooyoung put a hand on his racing heart. "You never even looked at me." He then added.

"I did." Nichkhun disagreed. "I always looked at you. But whenever you looked back I turned around." He stopped for a moment. "I thought you and Chansung ah were… well, you know. But yesterday, when you… when you told me that Chansung already has a boyfriend and when you kissed me, I…" He stopped again when he saw Wooyoung blush. He smiled gently and his hair softly. "I was happy." He whispered.

Wooyoung was about to answer something, but when he heard a sniff from behind Nichkhun he looked up. "Junho…?" The younger was lying in Junsu's arms, tears running down his cheeks.

"This is so sad." Junho sobbed, causing Wooyoung to raise an eyebrow. Nichkhun has turned around as well and was looking at him, confused. Junsu threw them an apologetic look and patted his boyfriend's back.

"I'm sorry. He's so sensitive when it comes to love stories." The oldest said, immediately being hit by Junho.

"Shut up! I'm just happy that this misunderstanding is solved now." He sniffed one more time brushed the tears away and took a deep breath. "So, Woo? What's your answer?"

Wooyoung widened his eyes and blushed, retuning his gaze to Nichkhun, who still held him in his arms. "I…" he felt his heart beating painfully against his chest. "I…" Blushing even more on feeling the gazes from three persons on him, he jumped up. "I hate you!" With this he hurried to the bathroom, slamming the door behind him.
