Bae Sanghee is a normal girl who loves music. Her childhood friends Lee Hongki and Choi Seunghyun have a up and coming band, FT Island. They haven't hit the big time yet. Sanghee is a huge fan of the super rock group Big Bang, especially the leader, TOP. Her friends come across a contest to spend an afternoon with Big Bang and sign her up using Seunghyun's contact info, to keep it a surprise. Her family suddenly go bankrupt and she is forced to move to America with her father. The contest people contact Seunghyun and tell him that she won the contest and he informs them of her situation. Big Bang decides its a hassle to choose another winner so they go visit her in America. Sanghee quickly discovers that TOP has an unapproachable rock-star personality. He doesn't hold back anything and acts like he always gets what he wants. He decides immediately that he wants Sanghee. She realizes that she doesn't like him as a person, only an artist. After that day, she finds out that Big Bang is suddenly promoting in America and she runs into TOP everywhere. She decides to move back to South Korea with help from Hongki and Seunghyun. She finds a small one room apartment and realizes that she needs a roommate to help her pay rent. Kevin Woo is the only person to answer her ad. She lets him live with her, but that he has to keep it a secret because he is a boy. Hongki and Seunghyun make a surprise visit to her apartment and she shoves Kevin in the bedroom as her friends explore the place. She panics as they open the bedroom door, but is shocked to see Kevin in a wig and putting on makeup. Her friends now think her roommate is a girl and TOP is telling people publicly that him and Sanghee are dating. How can her life possibly be more difficult?
