“Jinki? Jinki, I’m scared.”

Jonghyun’s eyes were closed, and he lay on a bed, his position comfortable for now.

Jonghyun felt soft hands on his head, absentmindedly the younger’s hair.

Jonghyun didn’t hear anything, but he could feel it, feel it in the way Jinki caressed him.

It was going to be alright.

“Don’t leave me, okay? You promised.”

Again, Jinki said nothing.

Jonghyun felt a breath on his cheek, and then Jinki’s lips pressed against him.

Jjong couldn’t help but smile.

Though he was older, the other boy was so sentimental sometimes.

Jonghyun felt Jinki climb into the bed with him, warmth on his sides, and Jinki’s hands encircling his wrists.

Suddenly, the younger boy felt drowsy. His eyes were already closed, but he still felt the light seeping in. clenching his eyelids shut till all he saw was black, Jjong whispered.

“Good night Jinki. Stay here, okay?”

Jonghyun felt the other boy press a kiss to his hair, and he fell promptly asleep.

When he woke up, his eyes opened, and all he saw was white.

The walls, the bed.

Everything except the chains around his wrists, the chains that were there instead of Jinki’s hands.

And Jonghyun heard a ghost of a voice.

“I’m sorry Jjong. Goodbye.”

Jjong is in a mental asylum. Jinki dies, and he went crazy.
