Foreword

Zico's eyes slowly opened. He groaned. The cramped space of the dorm's beds always made his limbs sore. "Another day of this ." he grumbled as he made his way out of the tight bed. Not even bothering to fix the messy brown cotton sheets he came out from under.
The other members were still slumbering. He rubbed his dry eyes before looking towards the medium sized window to his right. Not even a hint of sunshine flowed through the white blinds. He lazily walked through the small cluttered room, being careful not to step on anything. What time is it? He wondered. It feels like it's about 2am. Why am I even up this early.
He made it to the living room. The entire place was dark. The digital clock placed on the coffee table brightly read "5:45am".
"." Zico cursed. He was hoping he'd have some extra time for rest. He didn't have to get up for another 20 minutes. But sleep that short would do nothing but agitate him upon waking up.
He walked into the tiny kitchen and flicked the lights on. The sudden brightness caused his pupils to rapidly dilate, resulting in a short-lived stinging pain surging through his eyes. His hand quickly went to cover his eyes. "." he uttered under his breath. That swears seemed to be his favorite words this morning. He quickly recovered and went to the fridge before opening it. The smell of stale food slightly curbed his appetite.
But he tried to ignore it. He had to eat.
He reached for the head of lettuce placed in a plastic bag on the side of the fridge. He held it up to his face, inspecting it. "Is this even lettuce? or cabbage?" He didn't even care. At least it's food.

This won't be a very long fic. Probably only one to three chapters. This is mostly just for practice. I will try to make the chapters very long though.
