The Stalker

All I Care About

 “Lu.”

No.”

Lu.”

Nooo.”

Lu.”

Five more minutes,” Luhan said, quickly burying his face in his pillow.

You said that ten minutes ago. Now get up.” Sehun tugged his arms, turned him over and pulled him up despite his whining. Luhan kept his eyes shut because maybe then Sehun would let him go back to sleep. Maybe Sehun would find his sleepy face adorable and --

Sehun gently smacked his face. “Wake up. Now.”

Or not.

You can wake up at the crack of dawn on Christmas morning, but can't even open your eyes for the first day of school? Why is that?”

Easy – there aren't any presents at school.”

Sehun sighed, smacking his face again.

Yahh!” Luhan's eyes popped up, immediately shooting Sehun a dirty look. “There are better ways to wake me up you know.”

Sehun shrugged. “This works fine.” He turned to get off the bed, but Luhan leaned forward and pulled him back.

You can't just hit me and expect me to let you go,” Luhan said, mischief in his eyes.

I didn't hit you. It was more like light tapping.”

Your hand came into contact with my face – it's hitting.”

With love.”

Luhan rolled his eyes. “You are going to get it.”

With arms wrapped tightly around Sehun's torso, Luhan pressed his face against Sehun's back, breathing Sehun in. Sehun stiffen at first, afraid of what Luhan might do, but he soon relax when he realized that Luhan wasn't going to hit him or worse, bite him.

Originally, Luhan had wanted to punish Sehun for waking him up, but couldn't bring himself to do so when he knew Sehun was just being a good boyfriend by waking him up for classes. It was the first day of school, which meant he couldn't spend all morning playing with his boyfriend, no matter how much he wanted to. So he ended up wrapping his arms tighter around Sehun, trying to savor the moment.

You have work today?” Luhan asked, voice soft.

Though he knew the answer, he asked because he was hoping Sehun would miraculously decide to skip out on work today, so that he could spend more time with him.

Yeah, you know I do.” Sehun turned his head to try and see what Luhan was doing behind his back. “What are you doing?”

Charging.”

What?”

You're my charger.”

And what does that mean?”

That means that hugging you keeps me energized – enough to last the whole day.” Hopefully.

Oh. I see,” Sehun said, voice slightly strained. Luhan could tell Sehun was trying not to laugh. Why did I say that out loud?

When Sehun shifted his position, to try to get Luhan to face him, the older boy buried his face further into the back of Sehun's shirt, refusing to let Sehun see him. It's simply too embarrassing.

Since when did I become your human charger?”

Since you let me hug you whenever I want, now stop moving around,” Luhan hissed when Sehun kept struggling against his hold. “I'll be done soon.” I have to get a whole day's worth!

Idiot,” Sehun said when he finally turned his body around. He cupped Luhan's face. “Wouldn't it be better if I do this instead?”

Luhan was about to ask, “What,” when he suddenly felt Sehun gently pressing their lips together. On cue, the corners of Luhan's lips tugged upwards at the feel of Sehun's lips – he always had a weakness for Sehun's morning kisses.

Because it's warm and sweet.

And it makes Luhan feel tingly and lightheaded.

And yes this was better.

So much better.

It didn't take long for Luhan to kiss Sehun back, for him to have his fingers tugging Sehun's hair, pulling him closer.

Ahem. Sehun, could you stop Luhan's face or else you'll both be late for school,” Chanyeol said as he and Baekhyun appeared at their door, smirking.

Sehun pulled away, and he smiled at Luhan before grabbing a pillow and flinging it towards the couple, who expertly ducked, dodging it with smirks intact.

Missed,” Chanyeol said, sticking out his tongue.

Sehun growled, “That's unfortunate.”

Luhan laughed before giving Sehun a pinch in the cheeks. “Sehun-ah, don't be so mean to your hyung,” He got off the bed. “I'm going to get ready.”

When he was out of their room, he could hear Chanyeol and Baekhyun teasing Sehun about what happened earlier.

Come on maknae, don't give us that face. We apologize for interrupting your morning make out session.”

Besides you could always charge Luhan hyung later at night.”

Increase his battery meter.”

Replenish his --”

Shut up!”

Luhan heard something that sounded like a pillow coming into contact with a face, followed by Chanyeol's “Oww!” and Baekhyun's “Yah! Sehun!”

He shook his head. Another typical morning.

LUHAANNNN!”

LUHAN SUNBAE!”

AAAHHHH LUHANNNN!”

Luhan gave the screaming girls a small smile and a shy wave, causing them to squeal louder than before.

Sehun groaned as he took out his headphones and placed them over his ears, face looking highly annoyed. “I almost forgot about your explosive popularity at school,” Sehun said while gripping Luhan's hand tighter as he led them through the crowd.

Luhan giggled, continuing to wave at his peers, some of them friends, most of them admirers.

Yahh! Stop waving at them! It only makes it worse!”

I still have to be polite.”

Sehun shook his head. “You're too nice.”

I have to be in order to balance us out. You're the rude one that everybody's afraid of while I'm the sweet one that everybody loves. See? Balance.”

I will let go of your hand and let you fend for yourself if you say another word,” Sehun threatened.

I dare you to.”

You think I won't do it?”

Do it then.” I like to see you try Sehu –

Sehun released his hand and walked ahead, shocking Luhan and everyone who was crowded around them. The younger boy turned around and smirked, basking in the fact that he'd surprised Luhan by going through with his originally empty threat. He looked positively proud.

The smirk on Sehun's face quickly disappeared though when the crowd, realizing that Luhan was now left Sehun-less, pulled the older one away, bombarding him with gifts and questions about his break. Next thing Luhan knew, they had created a wall around him, effectively keeping Sehun out.

From somewhere to his left, Luhan heard Sehun cursing profanities. And now it was Luhan's turn to smirk. That's what you get Sehun-ah!

For the next few minutes, Luhan spent his time thanking the girls for their gifts and answering their questions, all while pretending he doesn't see Sehun trying his best to get through the girls, failing miserably. He stuck out his tongue at Sehun when he caught him jumping up and down in the background trying to grab his attention.

I thought you would let me fend for myself?” Luhan asked teasingly when Sehun had finally gotten him out. Sehun resorted to shouting at the people, demanding that they release Luhan or else he would lock him up and not allow anyone to ever see him again – a threat Luhan found endearing (sort of).

You didn't do a good job, so I had to step in to rescue you,” Sehun argued as they walked towards Luhan's first class.

Pfftt. I was doing fine.”

You were posing for pictures,” Sehun deadpanned, glaring at Luhan.

Luhan smiled. “Can't help it if I'm photogenic. If you couldn't handle it, you shouldn't have let go of my hand.”

It was only for a second,” Sehun countered, stopping in front of Luhan's class. “Besides, I didn't think they would snatch you away like that.”

Luhan grinned. “Take this as a lesson --”

To never let you go,” Sehun finished as he leaned in, face just inches away Luhan's. “Because someone might come and take you away from me?”

Luhan nodded, trying his best not to stare at Sehun's lips because they were begging to be kissed. Not here. Not here. Not here, Luhan repeated because his classmates were currently craning their necks to get a glimpse of them.

That's not going to happen because --” Sehun gently bumped his forehead against Luhan's, ignoring the gasps coming from the other students. “I won't ever let you go.”

He gave Luhan a cheeky grin before pulling away. “You're stuck with me Bambi. Deal with it.” Luhan rolled his eyes. That's a nice way of putting it..

Don't you have a class to go to?” Luhan asked.

Sehun checked his watch and his eyes widen. “Yes. I was supposed to be there five minutes ago. I'll see you before I leave for work okay?”

Luhan nodded and watched as Sehun walked backwards a few steps, eyes on Luhan, before turning around and sprinting out of the Sociology building, ordering people to get out of his way. Aish. Sehun-ah, what am I going to do with you?

After Luhan sat down at a seat furthest away from the door, the professor came in and immediately started her lecture. “Welcome to Classical Social Theory 101.”

He was busy taking notes when the door opened, and the professor abruptly stopped her lecturing.

I don't allow late students in my class,” the professor said, voice coated in annoyance.

Luhan and the other students turned to look at the new comer – a male student with black spiked hair and squared glasses. Luhan's eyes widen when he recognized the student.

The guy from the mall.

No way....

I'm so sorry,” the guy apologized as he bowed repeatedly. “But I have a really good reason.”

The lady placed her hands on her hips. “And that is?”

I got lost,” the guy replied with a smile, causing some of the girls to start whispering to one another about how great his smile was.

Luhan suspected that the guy was using his dreamy smile to his advantage – to get out of trouble. His suspicion was confirmed when the teacher lowered her arms, and told him not to be late again, her expression suddenly softer than it was before.

Take a seat,” the professor ordered before moving on with her lecture. The guy looked around for an empty seat, and when his eyes landed on Luhan, and the empty seat next to him, he smiled.

Luhan was in the middle of writing something when he felt someone suddenly next to him. He immediately tensed.

Hey,” the guy whispered. Luhan gave him a small nod before looking ahead.

He pretended not to notice the guy glancing his way every now and then throughout the class period.

Although the guy did nothing wrong, Luhan couldn't help but feel that something was off because honestly what were the chances of them meeting again? And the fact that the guy chose to sit next to him, out of all the empty seats available, set off alarms in Luhan's head.

When class ended, Luhan quickly threw his things in his backpack and was about to leave when the guy called him. “Hey Luhan. Wait.” He still remembers my name?

Luhan turned around to find the guy right behind him. He took a few steps back, to maintain a safe distance from the guy. “W-why are you here? A-are you stalking me? I'll have you know that my boyfr--”

Whoa whoa. Slow down,” the guy said. “I recently transferred here because I heard that this school has an excellent Sociology program. I'm a Sociology major, Lee Jinho – fourth year.”

Lee Jinho?

He held out his hand for Luhan to shake, but Luhan didn't move. Jinho smiled. “I'm not stalking you. I promise.” He held up his right hand and placed his left hand over his chest.

Can it really be a coincidence that we're meeting again?” Luhan asked.

Jinho grinned. “I like to believe it's fate.”

Luhan raised his eyebrow. Is he serious?

The guy laughed. “You think I'm crazy for believing in that don't you?”

Luhan shook his head. “No... I also believe in fate, but it was... weird hearing it from a stranger. No offense.”

None taken. I guess I freaked you out. Sorry. But I'm honestly not stalking you. I don't know anything about you except that you own a guitar I wanted for myself, you work at Heavenly Cafe, and that your name is Luhan.”

Luhan looked into Jinho's eyes, and upon seeing nothing but the truth, he relaxed. “It's okay. I think I might have overreacted.”

They walked out of class together. “Why did you sit next to me though?” Luhan asked.

Jinho blushed and rubbed the back of his neck, suddenly avoiding eye contact with Luhan. “Because it's my first day here, and I didn't recognize anybody else...”

Oh.”

Yeah..I won't sit next to you again if it bothers you.”

No, it's okay. I was just wondering.”

They continued walking, Luhan occasionally pointing out the various rooms that were on Jinho's schedule sheet. It seemed as though he was giving Jinho a tour.

Surprisingly, it was easy to talk to Jinho. The boy was extremely nice and Luhan felt like an idiot for thinking that Jinho was stalking him.

Luhan found out that they have a lot in common. Like they have three classes together (being Sociology majors and all), they both like art and photography, they both like playing soccer, and Jinho was even taking Mandarin. Being the nice person that he is, Luhan had offered to help him in the class if he needed it. Jinho gave him a wide grin before thanking him for the offer.

How old are you?” Jinho asked when they got out of the Sociology building.

Twenty-one.”

Jinho stopped in his tracks. “Twenty-one? There's no way, you look --”

Super duper young? Yeah. I get that a lot.”

You're my hyung then,” Jinho said when they started walking again, making their way to the main courtyard.

Really? Aren't you a fourth year as well?”

I'm supposed to be a sophomore, but I actually finished most of my coursework earlier than my peers.” Sophomore? He's Sehun's age then.

Impressive.” Luhan smiled.

Thanks.”

Zzzzzzzz. A text from Baekhyun -

Hyung, are you free for lunch? Come eat with me and Yeollie ;)

Hey, I'm going to meet my friends for lunch. Do you want to come with?”

I would love to, but I actually have a class.”

Oh. That's fine. Do you need me to show you where it is?”

No no, it's fine. I got it. Thanks for everything. I'll see you around...Luhan hyung.”

Luhan chuckled. “Yeah. See you. Jinho.”

When he got to the cafeteria, he spotted Baekyeol at their usual table, feeding each other bibimbap. After getting his lunch (spending quite some time in the dessert section), Luhan made his way to their table.

Heyy there's our favorite hyung,” Chanyeol greeted when Luhan took a seat across from them, placing his tray down.

We got you strawberry cake,” Baekhyun said as he passed Luhan the cake.

Luhan smiled. “Thanks.” He started eating, not noticing the look Baekyeol was giving him. Not until he looked up at least.“What?”

Nothing..It's just that something is missing....”

Like what?”

Hmm. Like maybe that extremely attractive, milky skin boy with the cold exterior. The one that has a cute side to him occasionally..”

The possessive boy who's usually glued to your side.”

Luhan laughed. “I'm sure Sehun would love hearing you two describe him as such.”

Baekyeol shrugged. “Where is he?”

He has classes right now,” Luhan said, while poking into his cake. “I won't see him till much later.”

Baekhyun, sensing that Luhan was feeling a little down since Sehun wasn't here, changed the subject. “So how was your first day so far? Anything interesting?”

Luhan perked up. “Actually yes, something interesting did happen. You remember that guy from the cafe?”

The one that you also met at the mall?”

Yes. Him. Turns out he's also attending our school this semester. Crazy huh?”

WHOAA. WHAT?!” Baekhyun shrieked, nearly choking on his rice and causing Chanyeol to drop his chopsticks.

Baek. Calm down,” Chanyeol said, rubbing his boyfriend's back.

H-how is this possible? He's going to our s-school....and he has a class with you,” Baekhyun said, voice slightly panicky. It looked like he was having a hard time processing this bit of information.

Classes,” Luhan corrected. “He's also a Sociology major, so we have a lot of the same classes.”

Baekhyun squeezed his eyes shut. “This is bad. Really bad.”

Bad? What do you mean?”

He opened his eyes again. “Hyung, don't you find it weird that he's showing up everywhere you go.”

Not everywhere...”

Hyung, you know what I mean!”

Luhan sighed. “Yes. I know what you mean. I was just as shocked as you were. Trust me, I couldn't believe it either, but after talking to him, I found out that he's really nice. Harmless.”

Baekhyun crossed his arms across his chest. “I still think he's trouble.”

What's his name?” Chanyeol asked.

Jinho.”

Baekhyun snorted. “That's fitting. He has the same name as a character in the drama I'm watching. You know what type of character he is? A bad one who's out to steal the main guy's lover.”

Baek. You really need to stop watching dramas,” Chanyeol said, shaking his head. “But hyung, it really is incredible that you're seeing him again.”

Yeah. It really is a small world.”

Baekhyun grunted. “A small world infested with stalkers.”

Luhan smiled because he knew Baekhyun was just being Baekhyun. “I know you're worried about me, but it's fine. He's not a stalker. I asked him. He said no.”

Hyung, would a stalker honestly tell you he was?”

He's not a stalker. You could have a talk with him if you want. He's new here, so I'm sure he won't mind meeting new people.”

I will, and while we're at it, you should let him meet Sehun too. I'll bring the popcorn.”

Luhan knitted his brows together. “Why are you bringing popcorn?”

To eat while I'm enjoying the match,” Baekhyun answered with glee.

Luhan rolled his eyes and continued eating his cake. “You know they're the same age, so they'll probably become friends.”

Friends turned love rivals, Baekhyun thought as he watched Luhan answer a text from Sehun – he could tell from the way the older boy's face lit up when the sender's name popped up.

Although Baekhyun firmly believes that this new guy was trouble waiting to happen, he couldn't help but wish that he was dead wrong.

******

So how are you liking Suk-Myeong?” Sehun asked Jinho, as he placed a bowl of kimchi fried rice on his tray. Since Luhan was in class now (having had his lunch earlier), Sehun had caught up with Jinho in the cafeteria, and they were currently in line putting food on their trays.

It's better than I expected,” Jinho answered, grinning.

And Sehun recognized that grin. It could only mean one thing. “You met someone already?”

Ever since he could remember, Jinho was always popular – the perfect neighborhood kid who everybody gushes over. It might have been because he was the friendly, easy going one between the two of them, but regardless the other kids would often flock to Jinho, asking him if he wanted to play with them. Jinho would agree to go play with them only if they included Sehun. If there was Jinho, there was Sehun – they were a package.

Jinho nodded. “I actually met him before Christmas. It was a chance encounter and I couldn't stop thinking about him since. And today, I saw him again in my first class! I was over the moon.” He finished by pretending to stare dreamily off into the distance.

Sehun chuckled. “He must be --”

The most gorgeous being to ever walked the face of the earth,” Jinho said, smiling as he grabbed a bottle of orange juice. “I'm not exaggerating. It was love at first sight, as crazy as that sounds. I've never met anyone so perfect.”

Sehun shrugged. “Maybe in your eyes, but I know a person who's far more perfect.”

Jinho rolled his eyes. “Yeah right. Anyway, I'm thinking about getting to know the guy a little more before I ask him out next week.”

Next week?! Don't you think it's a little soon? You just got here.”

Yeah I know, but he's the type that if you don't make your move, someone will swoop in and snatch him away. I don't want to lose my chance. Living with regrets is not something I want to do.”

Typical Jinho.

The big difference between them when they were kids was that Sehun tended to be quiet and unsure of what he really wanted – he didn't care much about anything to bother. Jinho, on the other hand, was vocal about everything and he stopped at nothing to get what he wanted, refusing to settle for second best. Being a well rounded child with endless determination, he would get whatever he wanted, one way or another – often sparking envy in the other kids. Sehun was one of those kids.

What if he's already taken? He sounds like the type that's taken,” Sehun said as they passed by the salad section.

Jinho stopped to ponder this. “You're right.. It would be strange if he was single...”

Exactly. Forget about it. Just focus on making new friends, which I'm sure you'll have no problem doing.”

But what if he is single?”

Then I'll say go for it.”

Jinho flashed him a bright smile. “Knew you would say that. Thanks man. And hey, if things work out between us, I'll try to set you up with his friends. Double dates?”

Sehun laughed. “You're still the same Jinho from years ago.”

Jinho smiled. “So how about it? Are you in?”

Thanks, but no. I'm happy with where I am.”

And where is that?” Jinho asked as he walked past the dessert section. He stopped when he noticed that Sehun wasn't next to him. “Sehun?”

When Sehun walked up to him with a strawberry cake on his tray, Jinho raised an eyebrow. “I thought you hated strawberry cakes?”

I still do, but it's not for me.” He walked over to a table and sat down with Jinho following suit.

Then who is it for?” Jinho asked, eyeing Sehun suspiciously as he took a sip of his juice.

My boyfriend,” Sehun said, ignoring the way Jinho's eyes widen to the size of saucers and how Jinho spilled a little juice when he fumbled to close the top.

B-boyfriend? As in someone you date?” Jinho asked, wiping his spill, still not believing what he just heard. “Are you really Oh Sehun?”

Sehun snorted. “Why is it so hard to believe?”

Well because...I've always assumed you would end up alone --”

Wha--”

Only because you were always so aloof. I didn't think you would fall for anyone or anyone would even catch your eye for that matter. Remember Mari from 2nd grade? She had the biggest crush on you, but you never gave her the time of day.”

Um. That's because she liked you dude.”

Jinho's eyes widen. “Really?”

Sehun nodded. “Yes. They all liked you.”

Huh. Interesting,” Jinho mumbled as he picked up his sandwich, absentmindedly biting down. “So this guy....he's not made up or anything like that right?”

Shut up.”

Jinho laughed. “I'm kidding. So tell me about him. What kind of person could make Sehun fall in love?”

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Sehun took out his phone, smiling immediately when he sees the name on the screen – Bambi.

The kind of person that resembles a woodland creature,” Sehun answered, opening the message Luhan had sent him.

Sehun-ah, are you eating lunch now? What are you eating? Are you eating alone? Are you feeling lonely? I know you miss me like crazy because I'm not there :(

Geez Bambi.

I'm guessing it's him,” Jinho said when he noticed the way Sehun's face lit up when he opened the message.

Sehun willed his eyes away from his boyfriend's text to look at Jinho. “Is it obvious?”

That you're smitten? Yes. Ridiculously obvious.” Jinho smiled. “Go ahead. Pretend I'm not here.”

Thanks,” Sehun said as he quickly typed in a reply.

Yes. Kimchi fried rice. I'm with my old friend – the one I told you about. And no. Stop putting words in my mouth. I'm doing fine.

So woodland creature?” Jinho asked when Sehun looked up after he was satisfied with his reply.

Oh that's our --”

Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

Ohhh. That's nice. Tell him I said hi. And stop denying the fact you're miserable without me. If you admit it, I'll give you a reward ;)

What?

Your......” Jinho started, awaiting Sehun's reply.

Sehun was about to answer when Luhan sent him another text with a photo this time. He opened it.

I need charging

Sehun stared at the screen. What in the world—Oh. Oh. OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH! ASDFGHJKLFJSG!

He immediately turned off the screen's display and for a moment he thought the room was spinning. He could feel heat rapidly spreading across his face.

Did his boyfriend just sent him a dirty text?

Can this even be considered dirty? It was more adorable than anything else.

No. Definitely not dirty.

Why do you look like that?” Sehun looked up to see Jinho staring at him weird. “What did he say? Let me see.” Jinho reached over to try and get his phone from him.

Yah! It's personal!” Sehun tighten his hold on his cellphone – he would rather bury himself in sand than let someone else see that text.

Jinho looked at him for a second before he burst into laughter. “Okay okay. I got it. Continue ting your boyfriend.”

YAH! I am not!”

Jinho chuckled. “I really got to meet this guy. What kind of person could get this reaction out of Oh Sehun?” He wiggled his eyebrows at Sehun. “He must be special.”

Putting his phone back in his pocket (he really can't answer Luhan's text without wanting to bang his head repeatedly on the table), Sehun went back to eating his rice like nothing happen.

He is special,” Sehun admitted.

Special enough to need charging.

~~~~~~ First part - Is Baekhyun wrong? Who here thinks Baekhyun is pretty much dead on with the whole Jinho thing? *Raises hand* Lol. Favorite parts - the morning fluff (Sehun being Lulu's charger is something that I got from the drama "The Greatest Love" - if you haven't watched it, you should. It's hilarious). I also liked it when Sehun lets Luhan go for a second only to be shut out when the others surround Lulu. Hahaha. There's quite a bit of foreshadowing in this chapter.
Oh, I know the chapter is titled "The Stalker" but Jinho really isn't one. Really. He's in Lulu's class for the sake of me being able to write dramatic scenarios in the future. Them having classes together is going to affect the story and the relationship and the drama and you get the idea :D
--Second part updated-- LOLLLL. LUHAN IS SOOOO ADORABLE! The last part is gold. Sehunnie go charge your Lulu! Also you guys got a better look at their childhood friendship...Jinho was basically the one that had everything, and he looked out for Sehun, who wasn't as popular. But now things are different..OOOOOOOOO. The plot thickens. Muwahaha.
And how awkward was it for Sehun and Jinho to talk about the same person without even knowing it? Lol. When Jinho suggested that he would set Sehun up with Luhan's friends...hahaha. The irony.
