Tock.

One hour left...

It was only the first day of his sophomore year at Suk-Myeong and Sehun was already counting down to when he gets to see his favorite person. Considering the fact that he was texting his boyfriend the entire day, it amazed Sehun how he could still feel extremely deprived – as if texting the older boy wasn't enough.

It's never enough.

Sehun glared at the board at the front of the large classroom, mentally cursing the professor for being late. The sooner the lecture starts, the closer he'll be to meeting Luhan for lunch.

Luhan.

I wonder what he's doing right now....

Sehun took out his phone and sent his boyfriend a message for what seem like the hundredth time today.

Zzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm in class! What else could I be doing?!

He frowned at his boyfriend's haughty reply. Maybe Sehun was texting him too much. He knew he was probably distracting Luhan from whatever it was the older boy was doing, but he couldn't help it – suffering from Luhan withdrawal is a serious matter.

Ughhhhh. Sehun groaned before putting his head down on the table. I'm dying...

“Hey did you hear the news?” Sehun heard a female student ask her friend from somewhere in front of him. He closed his eyes, not looking forward to hearing whatever girls tend to gossip about.

The girl's friend gasped. “What??!” The sound of shuffling can be heard as the girl scooted closer to her friend to hear the juicy news.

“Apparently Luhan–” Sehun sat up upon hearing that particular name “–from the Sociology department is taken!”

“Wahhhhh!! Whoever she is, she is lucky as hell!” The girl who replied looked absolutely envious. She was practically green.

Her friend shook her head. “Not a she. He. Luhan is dating a he.”

Sehun gulped.

The other girl had hanging open, a very unattractive sight really, as she stared wide-eyed at her friend. “Nooo way!”

Sehun's right eye twitched. The girl was really testing his patience. Why was it hard for her to accept that Luhan was dating a guy? Sehun admits that he isn't exactly the ideal boyfriend to most girls, but he isn't bad – at least Luhan doesn't think so.

“Yess!! A few of my friends from the Sociology department spotted Luhan and the guy kissing in front of the building, but they didn't get a good look at him. Then I heard from some of his admirers that he is dating someone from our Music department!”

“Oh my god. Who?! There isn't anyone in our department worthy of dating Prince Luhan.”

Sehun was practically glaring at them now, but being too absorbed in gossiping, the girls didn't notice. Worthy? Prince Luhan? Since when do they call him prince?

“I know! Maybe he is blackmailing Luhan to date him or something.”

Sehun resisted the urge to bang his head against the table. BLACKMAIL?! They think I'm blackmailing him.

“Yeah, that is probably it.”

NO. That's not it. You imbeciles.

“We girls should band together to get to the bottom of this! I hope Luhan is alright. My sister was blackmailed by an older guy once. She was never the same – that's why we need to help Luhan oppa!”

Sehun rolled his eyes at how the girl was affectionately calling his boyfriend oppa.

Eventually, Sehun had about enough. “He is not being blackmailed.”

Both girls turned to look at him. “How do you know?” they chorused.

“I just do, okay?” Annoyance hinted in the way he answered.

“You know Luhan oppa?” Again, Sehun was bothered by how she said oppa.

“Yes, I do.”

“Is he okay? He's not hiding bruises, is he?” BRUISES!?

Sehun pinched the bridge of his nose. His tolerance for ridiculousness was reaching new heights. They think Luhan was being abused. This is so stupid.

“No. He does not have bruises on his body.”

I should know. Sehun couldn't help but smirk a little at the last thought.

“How do you know?”

He wanted to tell them, “Because I know my boyfriend's body a lot better than you two,” but decided that he'll spare them the heartbreak.

“Because I just do.”

“Then do you know who he's dating? Is it –”

“Okay class! Sorry I'm late! The line at the coffee shop was super long.” Their professor came in, a smile on his face and an espresso in his hand. Both girls turned around, looking highly disappointed, but Sehun couldn't be happier for the interruption.

When class ended, Sehun grabbed his backpack and got the heck out, not waiting to see if the girls would try and talk to him again. When he got to the courtyard, he could overhear other female students talking in hushed tones about Luhan and his mysterious boyfriend. Sehun caught a few words of what they were saying, and it was a miracle he didn't barge into their conversations to set them straight.

When he got to the cafeteria, he spotted his boyfriend's honey brown hair and made a bee-line towards it. Luhan was sitting near the big glass window, along with the Baekyeol couple. From what Sehun could see, Luhan's admirers had money in the bank because the table was covered in gift bags and small boxes of cakes.

He moaned because he knew Luhan was going to need help carrying all of that home.

When he got close to the table, his sour mood brighten when he sees Luhan beaming as he bit into a piece of chocolate cake. His boyfriend really was too cute for his own good.

“Hey.” Sehun plopped down next to Luhan, causing the older boy to jump in surprise.

“Sehun-ah!” He grinned, affectionately pinching Sehun's cheeks.

Sehun looked around the cafeteria to see if anyone saw that. Nope. The other students were either busy waiting in line, eating their lunch, or chatting with their friends.

“Here. I got you bubble tea.” Luhan handed him the cup, but Sehun wasn't really in the mood for his favorite drink. That was a first.

“What's wrong maknae?” Baekhyun inquired while feeding Chanyeol a piece of his brownie.

“Oh nothing – except that every girl in school thinks Luhan is being blackmailed into dating me.”

Luhan arched a brow. “Really?”

Sehun turned to face his boyfriend. “Yes, really.”

“Ah. That explains it.”

“Explains what?”

“Well, when they came up to me, they kept asking if I was alright. I thought they were just being courteous.”

Sehun facepalmed.

Baekhyun reached over the table to give him a pat on the back. “Don't worry Sehun. The rumors will die down....eventually. They don't even know you're the one dating Luhan, so you're safe for now. ”

“That doesn't make me feel any better. When they find out I'm dating Luhan, they'll probably protest.”

“Sehun's right. I saw a few of my female classmates passing around a petition,” Chanyeol confessed, his face a little too amused for Sehun's liking.

Sehun groaned and puts his head down on the table with a thud. Luhan had the decency to put down his fork and scooted closer to the younger one. He rubbed Sehun's back in a soothing manner. Do people not see this?!

“It's okay, Sehun-ah. I'll tell them that you're my boyfriend and that they should back off! No one hurts my Sehunnie!” Luhan was trying to cheer him up with the nickname, but it only added more to Sehun's list of problems.

“Lu, I don't need you to save me from your fangirls.” Sehun sat up and rubbed his red forehead, avoiding his boyfriend's gaze.

“Trust me, Sehun, you'll need Luhan hyung's help. They'll keep thinking that you're blackmailing Luhan hyung if he doesn't come out and tell them himself,” Baekhyun reasoned.

Sehun groaned. “Even if they find out the truth, they'll still think he could do better.”

To his annoyance, the Baekyeol couple nodded, as if they agree.

Luhan giggled. “Sehun-ah, you shouldn't worry too much about this.”

“That's easy for you to say. You're not on the hit list.”

Baekhyun shook his head and told him, “You're exaggerating, Sehun. Forget about the haters.”

Chanyeol enthusiastically added, “You know what they say – haters gonna hate.”

“Well, how am I supposed to ignore the fact that most of the female student population thinks Luhan is some sort of angel and that by dating someone, he is being defiled. They think I'm tainting him!”

Luhan and the Baekyeol couple laughed at Sehun's revelation.

“Stop laughing! It's true.” He puts his head down again. He was most likely going to leave here with a beet red forehead.

Luhan chuckled and leaned in, his lips ghosting over Sehun's ears. “I don't mind being tainted by you, Sehun-ah,” he whispered seductively.

Dear. Lord. Help. Me.

The last thing Sehun needed was for Luhan to in such a way. Next thing he knew, Luhan's lips were pressed against the side of his face. Aissshhh.

Do people honestly not see this? Do they not see the innocent, cute, baby-faced Luhan planting a not so chaste kiss on his face?

No. They don't.

Luhan laughed when he saw the defeated look on Sehun's face. “Sehun-ah, don't look so down. I don't want to see you so distraught.”

“I'm not distraught. Just irritated.”

“Well I don't like seeing you irritated either, so wait.”

“Wha–”

Luhan abruptly stood up and jumped on his chair. “LISTEN UP PEOPLE!”

“LU! GET DOWN!” Sehun hissed, face absolutely mortified. He grabbed the hem of Luhan's shirt and pulled him down. “Are you insane?!”

Luhan rolled his eyes. “No, I'm not.”

“Well, what were you planning on doing then?!”

“Announcing our relationship status?”

Sehun closed his eyes. “Stress.”

“What? I'm not going to sit here and let you be all mopey about being accused of defiling me or what not.” (Baekyeol couple snickered at Luhan's proclamation.)

Somehow the word “defile” sounded a lot worse coming from Luhan's pretty mouth.

Sehun rubbed the back of his neck. “Thanks, but I'll handle it.” When he stood up, Luhan quickly snatched his wrist.

“Where are you going?”

“I have class.”

“I don't remember a 2 o'clock class being on your schedule when I peeked at it.”

Sehun sighed. Luhan would be the type of boyfriend to memorize his schedule.

“I'm going there early to see if I could get a good seat?” Sehun knew his excuse was lame to say the least, but thankfully Luhan didn't question him any further. Sehun got the sense that Luhan knew what he was really going to do.

“Okay. Text me when you get out.” Luhan lets go of his wrist, although a little hesitantly.

“Yeah.” Sehun walked away from the table, knowing full well his boyfriend was watching him the whole time. He just needed to get out and think.

Think about how he was going to handle the impending uproar once it is revealed that Oh Sehun is dating Luhan.

Later on that day, when he got out of his last class, he slowly made his way towards the Sociology building. He had made plans earlier that day to pick Luhan up from his last class.

When he got to the building, he couldn't help but notice how there were more students than usual hanging around the front – most of them girls.

They were probably all there to see Luhan.

This isn't good. Images of angry girls attacking him with their purses flashed through his mind and Sehun was just about to turn around when –

“Sehun-ah!”

Luhan came rushing out of the building, skipping a few steps and jumping on Sehun as soon as he was close enough.

“Umph!” Sehun caught the smiley boy just in time.

With Luhan holding on to him like a baby koala, it was hard for Sehun to pay attention to the shocked expressions of the other students.

“W-what are you doing?” Sehun stuttered when he finally realized that it had gotten quiet – too quiet. Girls are never this quiet.

Luhan winked before he theatrically tightened his grip around Sehun's neck. “OH SEHUN-AH! You came to pick me up! You shouldn't have! Silly you!”

“What the –?”

“You're so adorable, Sehun-ah! I'm so happy to have you in my life.” Luhan winked at him two more times (or was it twitching?).

“Uhhhh...okay?”

Luhan gave him a peck on the lips and hopped off, a smug smile gracing his face. “I really can't take being away from you for so long. I want you now! Let's go, Sehun-ah!”

“Uhhhh...okay?”

Luhan entwined their fingers and dramatically dragged him away from the crowd. Sehun was too busy trying to grasp what just happened to notice a few girls were fanning their friends who had fainted.

“What was that?” Sehun asked as soon as they got away from the building.

“What was what?” Luhan glanced at him with twinkling eyes.

“The whole show you just put on.”

Luhan mockingly gasped. “That was not a show. I was being serious.”

Sehun arched his brow, looking skeptic.

“Okay, okay. I was showing them who was tainting who!”

Sehun stopped walking and stared at his boyfriend. Not knowing how to respond to that, he simply laughed.

And laughed.

And laughed.

Luhan pouted, apparently he got tired of Sehun laughing and pointing breathlessly at him.

Noticing this, Sehun stopped immediately and straightened up. He cupped Luhan's face and leaned in.

“God, I love you so much.” Sehun kissed his Bambi and decided that it didn't matter what people thought of their relationship. He was happy to have Luhan.

If being “tainted” by Luhan made him feel this blissful, then frankly Sehun doesn't mind.

Not one bit.
