Description

Barricaded from the rest of the world, The Slums held those that were Infected with the Infection. Wrongly deemed as an Infected one, Mijin was sent to live in The Slums. She had one chance to get out.

Foreword

Inspired by the South African sci-fi/horror/thriller film "District 9" (it's a fantastic film, just saying). 

Initially I marked this as a rated fic but I can't fit the rated stuff in here without distorting the characters' personalities...so I decided to make this a non-rated one-shot instead.

There will be a sequel. Probably...if I can get around to it.
