minseok doesn't know when it happened, but it did.

he fell in love with the sweetest and most beautiful boy he ever saw.

it wasn't that hard for minseok to fall in love with him. it was luhan after all, everyone was in love with him.

including him, sehun.

sehun was xiumin's stepbrother, ever since xiumin's dad married sehun's mother 12 years ago.

he regretted it and wished his dad never married his stepmother.

it wasn't like they had a bad relationship or anything.

it was just...

ever since xiumin had introduced his little brother to luhan, luhan always asked for sehun, always talked about sehun.

it was like minseok didn't matter anymore.

only sehun mattered.

and it broke minseok.

it was unfair. minseok only thought that every single day.

he was first! he met luhan before sehun. he was in love before sehun. he was there for luhan before sehun.

but still, luhan had chosen sehun.

not him.

the boy who always stood beside luhan for the past years. the boy who held him tightly in hard times and smiled with him during the good times. the boy who loved him and cared for him like no one did before.

and minseok was sick of it.

"baozi!" luhan hugged minseok and sat down.

they met up at the usual café where minseok had told him to meet.

"you didn't bring sehun again?" luhan asked dissappointed.

minseok clenched his fists, holding back his tears. 'he didn't even noticed that i didn't greet him...'

"if you want to meet him, just ask him directly! stop using me! if it’s not for me then stop asking me to meet! i’m sick of it!”

“boa-”

“luhan-hyung!”

there was sehun again.

luhan looked worriedly at minseok, he was about to ask what was wrong with him, but didn’t get the chance.

“happy now. there is your sehun. i’m leaving.” minseok said boldly and left.

luhan felt bad. he wanted to follow minseok and wanted to know what he did wrong.

but there was jongin now, holding him back.

“it’s better if you leave him to me.”

 luhan wanted to argue back, but jongin left already, leaving luhan alone with sehun.

sehun told luhan in a serious manner to sit down.

but luhan could only think of minseok.

sehun took luhan’s hand.

luhan felt his heart flutter as he heard sehun’s next words.

luhan felt a sudden warm in his heart.

but why did it sound so different when he told him those words.

“I love you.”

“minseok, wait!”

minseok suddenly stopped. he glared at his friend.

“what?!”

jongin sighed as he saw his friends face. He didn’t like seeing his friend in that state.

“you should stop it already and forget about it. get over him. ”

“what?”

“why are you so stubborn?”

“just, just stay out of it.”

“i won’t. i hate seeing you like this hyung. ”

“i love him.”

“you can’t.”

“why can’t I? i want to!”

“you can’t love him minseok! he doesn’t love you! he loves sehun for god’s sake! you can’t love him! It’s not love! ”

jongin was shocked himself at what he shouted at his friend.

he wanted to take it back.

he wanted to turn back time.

he didn’t mean to say that.

but he thought it was true, he told himself that loving someone and not being loved back was not love.

just because he was left for someone else.

“you’re wrong, jongin…” minseok tears started to flow.

“I told you before… when kyungsoo left…”

minseok sobbed, almost choking in his tears.

the two friends stood  there in silence for a couple of minutes.

“…an unachievable love is still a love…”

“minseok…”

“baozi…”
