It was  almost 2:30AM but BoA couldn’t sleep even though she hadn’t slept a second for a whole day because she was on her promotion for her latest Korean album. She was lying on her king size bed , rolling over on it while hugging her teddy bear. Suddenly, her phone rang , informing her a new message came . BoA didn’t need a second to find where her phone was because it was on the small table placed beside her bed. In fact, she just put her phone there after 3 hours kept staring at it. She was waiting for a message from a special friend.

BoA, I forgot to tell you that there are one more event you have to attend tomorrow. Meet me at SM building at 9AM.

BoA threw her phone at the corner of her room right after finishing reading this message from her manager. She pissed off not because of having to do more work but because this was not the right message she was waiting for . Yunho – her so called best friend had not contacted her for 2 weeks . To say it clearly , he avoided her and for God’s sake , BoA had no idea why he was acting like that . Yunho neither picked her calls nor responded her texts. That was so weird. He always sent messages to tell BoA should sleep soon, eat on time or told her about some random jokes he knew but BoA never found them funny.

BoA  looked at her poor phone lying on the cold floor . She released a long sigh, getting out of her bed with heavy steps and picking her phone up off the ground. Because her phone was a only thing she could use to get in touch with Yunho. Seeing their picture on her phone’s screen made her out of blue, a single tear fell off her eyelids

“Yundol, why are you like this? You idiot , baka , baka, baka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

While relieving her angry by saying loudly, BoA was using her index finger to press at Yunho’s face on the phone’s screen. But BoA just realized something and stopped

Why am I acting like Yunho is my boyfriend now? So childish. Hey Jung Yun Ho , what do you think you are to me? You’re just one of my friends, nothing special, maybe just a little bit special but don’t dare to make me angry. You avoid me, fine, keep hiding at your damn place, I will find you. Let’s see who’s better than who

Unlike before, this time BoA just thought in her mind, maybe she realized that her loud voice could awake other people. She wandered about her room to figure out how to know where Yunho was .

Ask staffs where the hell he is , no no not good. I don’t want him know that I look for him . Changmin , he will know where Yunho is for sure , they are living together after all . Damn it, why I didn’t remember him earlier. BoA you stupid

BoA nodded just like she couldn’t agree more with her thought . But she couldn’t approve “she is stupid” part . She went back to her bed and going to sleep. Before switching off the light , she murmured

“You’re a smart girl BoA”

BoA parked her car in front of SM building . She looked at her phone to check time , feeling good that she could make it on time . Even though she was a top star but she never let anyone wait for her. On the way to see her manager, she kept blaming Yunho for making her not sleep well last night . She was in rush in morning , she didn’t have breakfast yet and her hair was quite tangled .

As she was looking at a small mirror which was held in her small hand to fix her hair, her manager saw her from pretty far, greeting her sedately

“Morning BoA , you look so tired , not sleep well last night?”

“ Yeah, I had a nightmare last night.” BoA lied and before her manager began asking her why, she cut his words .“Don’t ask why. By the way , wait here about 15 minutes , I have to find Changmin to ask him something”

“ No need to find him, he’s behind you now” said him as he pointed his finger to where Changmin was standing

“ Morning BoA noona, I don’t know that you have schedule today” Changmin greeted her with his eye smile . BoA turned around to see him and took his hand, dragging him to somewhere

“ I need to ask you something Changmin. You have to tell me honestly , remember last time you lied me and what you got then. So use your brain and do wisely”

Changmin gulped and got a chill when his latest punishment given by miss BoA Kwon . He knew that this was not a joke , BoA really kept her words , BoA could be the most lovely senior but she could also be the scariest one in SM. But why BoA looked serious this time. He wondered but didn’t dare to ask, he just sensed that he needed to live a long life , he didn’t want to die . Changmin just followed to BoA without saying a word until BoA said when they reached the top floor

“Do you know where Yunho is? I’ve not seen him for a half month , he didn’t answer my call either” BoA said and looked straight to his eyes to see if he would tell her the truth

“You don’t know noonna, Yunho will go to military next week . I’ll be debuted as a solo member when your promotion ends . I thought your manager told you already. U really haven’t heard about this?”

BoA was shocked at Changmin’s statement . She didn’t know what to do now. Why didn’t Yunho tell her about it? Why so sudden go to military? He would keep it as secret until she found out? What was she to him? The question cam in waves, swarming over each other in her head , breaking and pulling back from her lips just as the real waves did at the sea. She just stood still, maybe still in shock . Then Changmin broke the silence and finally said

“ If you want to see him now, he is in his house ,packing his stuffs and blab la-ing with”

BoA didn’t need him finish his sentence ,her legs were moving before her brain realized it by itself. She wanted answers for her questions .

Changmin sighed and let out the words to finish his line

“ His girlfriend. Damn it, I need to call Kyu about it. There are more dramas to see”

BoA’s mind was too busy to think about Yunho to realize that she was standing in front of Yunho’s house . She quickly step out of her car. What she wanted was to hear Yunho’s explains but something stopped her steps. Yunho appeared in her eyes wearing military uniform with his short hair and standing next to him was a strange girl. BoA had never seen her before. This girl began holding Yunho hand and kissed him on his cheek. Yunho was smiling happily and giving her a hug.

BoA just looked at them and tears was falling from her eyes. She just didn’t know why she cried , she could run to him, say hi to this girl and talk to him like usual. But why now she was scared and jealous of this girl. She put her hand on her chest and felt that her heartbeat was tripled at speed and yet her heart was hurt just like someone was squeezing it.

Yunho then noticed BoA, he didn’t know what brought BoA here and what made BoA cry. He immediately released his hand out of this girl’s and walked toward BoA

“BoA , what happened , what’s wrong?”

“You, idiot, I hate you”

BoA spoke in a low voice and lowered her head to hide her tears on over her face. She felt that she didn’t want to see him and hear anything from him. She hastily went back to her car but Yunho caught her hand with the clueless face . BoA pulled back her hand and said “ Keep doing lovey dovey with your new girlfriend , my best friend”.

Then she left without letting Yunho explain

BoA was crying while driving back to her home. She didn’t pick up any call from her manager, Changmin and even Yunho. There was much water in her red eyes and it suddenly rained so hard so she couldn’t see the road. Everything was so blurred because of the rain and her tears. So she decided to stop at her favorite park which was near to her house. She sat on the bench and let the rain pour all her body. She needed to cool down her head which was spinning with all the thoughts in her head.

Thank God that there was no one at this park so she didn’t have to disguise herself.

She just remembered memories of her and Yunho, from the first time they met to now, she laughed a bit when some funny memories came to her mind but tears didn’t leave her eyes . She asked herself a lot of questions and all the answers she could give was Yunho. He was everywhere both in her mind and her heart. Then she started sobbing loudly when she knew that she loved Yunho that much, she couldn’t see him as a friend but as a man who she loved for such a long time without knowing.

How could she be so stubborn ,how could she not admit that she loved him and why now realized it, it was too late. Slowly she sank to the ground, trembling slightly. Her breath came in deep sobs, wracking her chest. She barely had enough air and felt stuffy. BoA did not hear the footstep coming ever closer. She didn’t see Yunho as he sat down next to her. Turning slightly, BoA buried her face in his shoulder . Yunho held her hand tightly, embracing her, resting his chin softly on the top of her head.

The two of them sat like that until the rain was over. BoA was still crying , even louder . Yunho was holding her quietly, steadfastly. Finally, she released her last tear, looking up at him with red eyes from crying, cheeks flushed. Yunho turned his head to her, a smile appeared on his small yet handsome face. To BoA’s surprise , tears was slipping down his face as well

“Why are you crying?” BoA asked softly, voice cracking

Yunho considered the question for a second “ I’m crying because you’re crying” . He replied truthfully and another tear trickled down his face but his smile was still there

BoA stared at Yunho with wide eyes. He stared back at her. A chill like an electric current flowed through both of them. The air around them tingled with static. Slowly, as if pulled by some invisible force, the two moved closer. Their faces were within a hair’s breath of each other’s.

“I love you BoA” 

His sweet breath lingered on her lips. BoA’s heart began to beat frantically as if trying to keep up to her rapidly changing emotions. Of course BoA was shocked at his declaration but she couldn’t hide from her true feeling anymore

“I love you too, Yundol” she admitted

Yunho put his hand on her cheek while BoA froze in place. He leaned even closer, closing the gap between them. Knowing what would come, BoA shut her eyes and felt his soft lips pressing against her. They quickly released the kiss, looking at each other lustfully. BoA giggled and said “ I can smell strawberry on your lips , but I like strawberry” . Yunho smiled at her “Want more strawberry?” . Without answering, BoA wrapped her hand around his neck and let his arm coil around her waist . They deepened the kiss, They kept kissing for many times, released then kissed again.

When they finally stopped , Yunho noticed something, BoA’s clothes was dripping wet , and her bra exposed through a thin shirt she was wearing. Without hesitation, he took off this shirt, forcing her to wear it. BoA couldn’t stop laughing because she could see Yunho blushing with shame. BoA liked teasing Yunho, same as Changmin. When Changmin begged her forgiving him when he lied , he just suggested to trick Yunho and plan it, then BoA could forget all lies he said. Even falling in too many traps of her, Yunho didn’t mind at all, always smiled at her and cared about her. Just thinking about how much Yunho love and care about her, she hugged him tightly and could hear his heartbeat.

“Your heart, it’s beating fast”

“It’s because I’m with you now”

BoA felt warm in her cheek and then whispered “ Who was that girl with you a little while ago?” BoA tried to ask in the lowest voice as she could because she was so embarrassed because of her jealousy but she couldn’t wait until Yunho told about it.

“It’s my aunt, she came to see me, I have not seen her for a while. And don’t misunderstand , she’s my real aunt , she looks younger than her real age. Trust me”

Then Yunho told everything about Changmin’s trick , he was preparing for a new drama so he worn military custom at home to practice.

“ You have planned to trick me so many times so why you got in his trap so easily. If I go to military then why the media let me go easily like this. And I promised to myself that I need to tell you about my feeling before I go even tho I’m not sure you will accept my feeling or not”

“ Sorry Yundol, I’m just so stupid for not realizing your love for me”

“Yeah, you’re so stupid but you’re my precious idiot” Yunho grinned while saying a joke but he didn’t forget to give BoA a quick kiss on her lips

“Yundol, thank you for loving me, for not giving up on me for the past five years”

Yunho smiled at BoA beautifully. She stared deeply into his eyes. He held her gaze , reciprocating “ Anytime, thank you too. Thanks for letting me in. Thanks for not pushing me away”

At the same time, both of them said “ I love you” , sealing their fate.

BoA looked at the sky , it was so beautiful, clear and peaceful, same as her heart now. Her heart flutter as though it was a butterfly trying to escape to tell her that “Yunho, you’re the only one for me” .
