He's the top 10 at his whole school, he's the jjang in the city where he lives, has the best voice, and not only that, his father is the principal of Jiseong Corporation, and mother is the principal of Jiseong Men's High School. He's the idol of every girls in every high school in the city. His popularity causes personality problems but no one complains about it EXCEPT for one person.

"Hi everyone! My name is Gikwang!"

The top student at his school. His best friend is Yoseob and he had a big surgery not so long ago so he's not in his healthiest condition. Although he is the smartest student at his school, he acts stupid. Nobody knows if he is doing it on purpose. He always has a big smile on his face but he has a very heartaching secret behind.

*Jiyoon*

"...What do you mean?" 

"I mean exactly what I said. We can't be together forever."

I could feel my eyes starting to tear up. My knees were shaking and my head was aching as much as my heart was. This cannot be the end. 

"Is there anything that I could do to keep you by my side? Oppa, you can't leave me like this. You're all I have!" 

I broke down and cried like a little kid. Gikwang reached out his hand and brushed my hair behind my ears. 

"I'm sorry. I'm a terrible person. Right?"

I held his hand on my cheek and cried the night away. All night while I was crying, he stayed by my side comforting me, until the sun came up and I fell asleep.

I woke up by the sound of rain. I realized that it's morning already and i bolted out of the bed. Gikwang was nowhere to be found. He was gone already. My head was blank. He was gone. I was walking toward the door when I felt something under my feet. A note. I reached down and picked it up. It was a note from Gikwang. I opened it and started reading.

'Dear Jiyoon,

If you're reading this, it probably means I left when you woke up. I can feel myself slowly shut down. This letter won't be so long. I will be going to America. My uncle is a doctor there and he said that he'd fix whatever the problem is. I promise I'll be back as soon as I'm well. Make sure to eat well, sleep well, study hard, and stay strong. If I don't come back in a year or at least send a letter, then move on. Wish me luck and take care 'till we meet again. -Gikwang.'

That day , I remember , was a very rainy day. It was pouring hard as much as the tears that ran down my face. After that day, I never received a letter from him, nor see his face. My life was miserable and gloomy until that one day that changed my whole life.
