Chanyeol sighed as he put the note back on his working table. He looked around in his empty room and sighed again. It was so lonely... The apartment seemed so abandoned when Baekhyun wasn't with him... It made him think about Kris...

How are you today, Kris? Are you being healthy? I... I actually miss you...

He pushed himself up from the chair and walked to big windows, leaning against the cold glass. It was a rainy day, streets were fairly empty as people didn't want to catch a cold. He let his fingers race with raindrops that flowed down the glass on the other side. Baekhyun had been busier these days, sometimes being away for days. It was almost always only Chanyeol, his pets and Baekhyun's old maid Belle in the luxorious apartment. But even if Baekhyun was away, the older always called and texted him, telling him to sleep well or enjoy the day. Those calls made him feel warm inside, it made him feel wanted and loved... And it felt good...

Just as he was about to climb back into his bed, the phone rang, making his little dog bark in the living room. With beating heart, he ran to the phone and picked it up.

It's Baekhyun for sure...

He slowly lifted the phone to his ear, mentally preparing himself to sound cheerful to Baekhyun.

"Hello?"

"Chanyeol? It's Suho..."

"Da-Suho?!"

"Chanyeol... Kris was in an accident."
