Chapter Forty-Three ; Support

Minhwa was making a milk bottle for Jihoon while her friends were sitting in the living room playing with the bab.

She couldn't help but worry about Jaejoong's meeting, no matter how many times he assured her that it was going to be okay to him no matter what happened.

She was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't realize the water is already boiling.

"Is the milk ready? Jihoonie is hungry!" Anna yelled from the living room.ded

Shaking her head, she looked at the pot and realized that she hasn't turned off the gas so that the water would cool down. She mentally cursed as she rushed to the gas and turned it off.

Now it was going to take a while for the water to cool down.

"Wait a bit!" She yelled back, going to get the milk powder from the cabinet.

Finally done with making the milk, she rushed to the living room and settled down on the couch beside her friends. Anna passed Jihoon to his mother, who began feeding him with the milk bottle. The baby began to the bottle hungrily, which made the three ladies giggle. The baby was too cute.

The sound of the door opening made all of them looking at the door to see Jaejoong entering the apartment, taking off his shoes.

Minhwa quickly passed the baby to Naeun, and rushed to her husband to welcome him home.

"Oppa, Welcome ho—" words stuck in as she saw a big bruised area under his eye and his wet clothes.

"W-what happened?" She asked her husband worriedly who gave her a small smile and turned to her two friends who were eyeing the couple in curiosity. He bowed to them politely and left to the bedroom in hurry. Minhwas threw her friends an apologic look before following Jaejoong to their bedroom.

Opening the door, she found him struggling out of his wet clothes.

 'How did he get wet?'  She thought. It wasn't even raining outside.

She hurried to the closet and took out some dry clothes for him to wear. He muttered a quiet 'thank you' before walking towards the bathroom and closed the door behind him.

She sighed. She hadn't even had a chance to ask him what happened. She just hoped that he hadn't fought with his friends or gotten hurt badly.
