Charm was heading to work and stopped in the mid way “ Bernice, Ron is going to have a check up today, please give him some company”

Bernice nodded “ I will, don’t worry.“

“Tell him to stay focus on the recovering  process and nothing  else” said Charm before leaving the house.

Yan aoi hospital 11:00 am

Ron walked into the doctor office with Bernice by his side  “ how do you feel today “ doctor Lai asked

“not well if you ask me, doctor I really wonder how bad my hand is, before you said it’s because of the plaster that making me feel immobile but it’s already over a month ago I got hit shouldn’t I feel better by now?”

Doctor Lai nodded “ I know that we can’t lei to you about this for to long, seems that Ms  Sheh haven’t told you yet about your condition”

Ron swallowed “ how bad is it?”

“actually we can’t tell you now when the plaster are still on but I can say that even if you recover you wont regain the mobility that you once had and the strength will also be impaired “

Ron took a deep breath to calm himself down “ so what does this exactly mean?  I’m I going to be handicap?”

The doctor shook his head “ it won’t be that serious just that your strength and mobility will somewhat be impaired of course with the recovering program you might  resume 80 of your normal mobility and strength”

Bernice have been following Ron for two hours after the check up  “ Ron? where are you planing to go? we should go back home”

Ron seated on a park bench and robbed his forehead “ why didn’t Zhi wah djeh tell me earlier? why did she hide it from me? Why keep telling me that I will recover when I won’t”

Bernice took the seat beside him “ who said you won’t recover the doctor said that you can regain 80 percent of your normal strength and mobility.”

“yeah, he did say that but he also said that it will take me at least one year to be back to that state and that is if everything goes fine and he still haven’t see how serious my arm is”

Bernice patted him on the shoulder “ I’m sure everything will be fine, don’t be so depressed it won’t do you anything good. People always says that a good mood is the best recovering medicine so cheer up a bit” she said and smiled sweetly at him

Ron nodded “ thanks, I will try to think on the positive side”

12:30pm Hing wah restaurant

Michael stormed in with two men followed behind “ what’s happening?” Michael asked the manager

“ I have no idea it was lunchtime and we was serving like usual  when a bunch of men stormed in and started to vandalize”

“it must be Choi Long again” said one of the man behind Michael, Michael didn’t say a word and just clench his teeth. Before he could react his cellphone called “speak”

“Michael gah, you need to come over” without another word Michael stormed out from the restaurant over to the next

Charm sat in her office doing her usual paperwork when her phone called, she looked at the caller id before answering with a light smile “ yes”

“Just want to report to you that everything is going on like it should, so nothing to worry about”

Charm nodded with satisfaction “ I knew I could count on you”

Kenny chuckle “ well great to hear that from you after so many years”

“Buy the way tell Christine that I will come by today for dinner. It was quite awhile since I saw my sons”
