Flashback , Key POV
We were just screaming and shouting. Never had i expected myself to scream at Nicole like how i did that night.
I could recall it clearly in my mind. Every word.

Key: Why cant you just drop it?
Nicole: I need an explanation!
Key: I have nothing to say. I told you there's nothing between me and Bora!
Nicole: You still love her don't you?
Key: Stop it. Dont push it Nicole..
Nicole: Push what?
Key: I said stop it.
Nicole: Woah..so is this my fault to begin with?
Key: Shut up! What is wrong with you COLE!! 
Nicole: I want to leave.. Stop the car! Stop the car!!
Key: Oh my goodness!!

Nicole kept pulling my hands off from the steering wheel.
When i lost grip, I lost myself too.
I hurt her, swung my hands and hit her face.
Not once but again and again.
I was so mad, so so mad at her.
I pulled over. "GET OFF THEN!"
Nicole was crying hysterically while she got off.
I didnt slowed down, I kept driving and driving.
I didnt know where i was going....

Flashback, Nicole POV
"Unnie.. i need you." Seungyeon was on the line.
"Cole what happened..Where are you now?"
"I don't know...it's so dark here. Help me Unnie! Help me!"

Seungyeon POV
"I tried to ask Nicole what happened that night but she couldn't answer.
Nicole cried for 2 weeks, every night.
She lost her appetite. Her eyes were swollen every day.
It felt as if she had lost it all.
Ever since Key and Nicole were officially dating, they started arguing and arguing.
It wasn't the same when they were bestfriends.
Key was Nicole's first love and I knew how much this girl is deeply in love with this man."
I shared my side of story to Onew,the one friend I knew i could turn to if i need anything.
Onew was speechless. He could not say more.
He only mentioned that Key was always missing from the dorm.
He had assumed that Key had been seeing Nicole but apparently Key wasn't.
I was even more disappointed for Nicole.

Key POV
I went back home to Daegu.
I had to tell Grandma what happened so badly. I had to.

"I think i've hurt her. I hit her and I dont know what to do now.."
I hugged Grandma so tightly, I didn't want to let go.
I knew how much i have messed things up.
i could not even bring myself to see my brothers. (SHINee members)
Ultimately, I didn't even want to see Nicole ever again.
I would only hurt her.

3 months passed.
Key POV
I walked into the door to see Minho and Taemin. I was greeted happily by Taemin.
"Where have you been hyung! I've missed you so much"
I smiled , " I'm so sorry i delayed our activities guys...I was.. I.."
I stuttered to find my words and then Minho interrupted,
" The important thing right now is...how are you now?Feeling better?"
I looked down and took a deep breath. I nodded.
"Yeah...but i have to settle somethings first."

I quickly rushed over to Kara's dorm.I knocked on to the door so many times but no one answered.
I began to panic and immediately tried to reach Onew for help.
"Hyung, do you know where is Kara now?"

As soon as he replied, i drove straight to the destination. His words kept replaying in my mind, non-stop.
"Oh Kara is doing full Japan promotions from now onwards. They're leaving for Japan today.."
I stepped on to the accelerator. My heart pounding faster and faster.

The airport was crowded with Kamilias but I didn't have time to even hide myself. 
It felt like the first time i actually ran towards the fans. Then they started noticing me..
"Omo omo its Key! He must be looking for Nicole!"
Surprisingly, Kamilias made way for me to see Nicole.
As soon as i saw her, I could not utter a single word. I missed her so much and I could just see it in her eyes that she feels the same too.

Nicole POV
Deep down, i really wished he was here but i know, he wouldn't be crazy enough to turn up.
I turned back when Kamilias started mentioning his name. Suddenly the fans started to diverge and i saw him. He is here?

"Key?" I was in disbelief.
There was silence. We just stared at each other.
"I'm..i'm sorry." Tears started to well up in his eyes.
I swallowed my saliva. What is going on? My heart missed him so much and i wanted to hug him but i just couldn't move.

Then i felt a light tap on my shoulder.
"Nicole, give him the letter you wrote."
Seungyeon whispered to my ears. It felt as if i regained my senses.
I quickly took out the folded letter in my wallet and passed it to him.
"Here you go. This is for you."
I grabbed his wrist. I wanted to hug him but i held back.
"I have to leave Key. I'll see you around. I love you baby."
I mumbled softly.

Key POV
I was motionless until Nicole gripped my wrist.
I couldn't breathe. I was just speechless.
The moment she grabbed my wrist, blood rushed to my head.I wished i could hold her again but the memories of  how much i have hurt her stopped me from doing that.
She mumbled some words; "I love you baby" that was all i heard.
Soon she let go and then she left. Kara left.
It all happened too fast. Then the noise started to cave in.
"Keeeyy!!! KEY!! KEY!!"
The fans started surrounding me. And i didn't move.Instead i was starting to tear up.
Fortunately, Onew had called my manager for help.He came with the bodyguards and i was lucky enough to pass through the fans.

In the car, i pulled out my ipod and put on my earpiece.
I played a song Nicole sang to me when we were bestfriends; Almost Lover by A Fine Frenzy
Then i opened up the letter.

"Just like a star across the sky

Instead i wonder what it is
