Summary:

Fairy Tales seem so useless when you're living one.

Imagine a spell that transforms your arms into stark white wings the moment the moon's reflection disappears from 'Swan' lake.

A magical world, isn’t anything unusual, if you don’t count getting turned into a swan, or waking up to talking animals, sorcerers and a prince charming who’s suddenly interested in you. After having the spell was cast on you, you meet three other quaint personas at a swamp far from your home. There you befriend them, fending off dangers, and searching for the cure to your mysterious curse. Together you are the ‘Spell Quad’. Meanwhile, even through all this, you grasp onto the hopes of returning home safely, and maybe even reuniting with Kris.

Main Characters:

Shin Gayoon (OC) - Odette

You are the only daughter of King Shin of Hallyu, born under the auspicious full moon of the twelfth month. Being born scrawny and speckle faced you lived your prankster days well. You never had the appetite for being refined staying by your windowsill and embroidering like a ‘proper’ lady. There was a world out beyond the walls you’d rather explore. Without much time you bloomed into your prime; blossoming into that of a well defined woman. Though that’s where all the problems began arise.

Kris/ Wu Fan - Derek

 The reserved and composed Prince who’d dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his nation. Even with his loyal commitment to the throne, he still desires to reach the world beyond much like you. Gifted with a slick tongue and precise hand for judgement he was labeled a prodigy among young royalty. But you knew him before all of this. You'd been there when he was still a rash and abarasive kid. So what made him change? Could it have been you? You had been arranged to wed after 20 summers had passed from your birth. Although things don’t seem to go as planned for your parents. Why? Maybe because you can’t even stand being in the same room, better yet fall in love.

He is slow, easy going and laid back. He moves at his own pace, without any care in the world. His enormous bulgy eyes would not ever occur to people to ever think about the mere thought that he does not process shock fast enough. He lived in the swamp for a long time with his best friend Kai, also being cast with the same animal guise spell. Ironically on land he is ‘as slow as a turtle’, in the water he could be registered as an Olympian swimmer at his lightning speed. Spacing out would be regarded as a daily routine for him.

The timid and obedient one. Once he had been notified that he was to serve Kris, he was exhilarated. As a child, he had always admired him. If asked a question, it will take time to receive an answer; indecisive. Even though his personality is a very timid, quiet one. But when it comes to equestrian matters he's the man to talk too. He also shares a mutual relationship with you and you both seem to get along well.

Seohyun/ Seo Joohyun - Maiden in Waiting

In overall behaviour, she will be a gentle maiden in waiting, smiling and doing her job smoothly and effectively. But once she sees Shin Gayoon and detects a problem, her ferocious strict mode will awaken. It had always been a wonder how she was the same age as you. She would harshly scold and go on and on about the rules and the behaviour of a lady. One would have to be prepared to face the consequences of her wrath, if they do not satisfy her by not working quickly and properly.
