August 26th, Year 20XX Entry 999
Looking back then, I have this to regret, that too often, even aware that this feeling was love, I did not say so*.
Why did I write something that even I find it awfully too cheesy? I can’t blame anyone though. Yes, you must have guessed it right. My mood can literally be depicted as “being in the Seventh Heaven”. Even now, I’m grinning like an idiot, occasionally losing myself in a daydream. I’m so hopeless, but what can I do?
Tomorrow is the D-day, the moment I’ve been waiting for months now.
Tomorrow, the second I’ll step on the Seoul University’s grounds, I’ll officially be one of their students.
Just like Lee Chang Sun.
Yes, you haven’t seen it wrong.
I’ll be attending the same school as him.
Being accepted is the reward from spending countless nights on studying in order to get in. It really wasn’t the easiest task since — I’ll admit it — I’m not a genius. My brain isn’t the brightest, but it at least knows its priorities. Priorities that are considered shallow and trivial by the others. Though, it’s not like I have anyone close enough to be called “friends” so it doesn’t matter.
That’s not the sole reason why I currently look like a love struck high school girl.
Tomorrow will be the 1000th day.
It has been 1000 days since that fateful day.
I have made up my mind. I’ll confess tomorrow. For sure. With homemade cupcakes.
