Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring.

Each time around, we don't know what they'll bring.

A midnight dance, a quick little fling,

Or will it turn into a blossoming thing?

Seduction, romance, or a diamond ring,

Perhaps a love that will make you sing.

It could be great, so just take a swing,

Release your heart from its broken sling,

Open your arms and spread wide your wings.

When Cupid's arrow hits, it will sting

And the shaft will give out a quiet little zing.

To you these new feelings will surely cling

Until you find your destined king,

And these two lives become ensnared in love's tangled string,

Bound together, their very beings.

Their souls will be searching

To give their lives meaning

For the one who'll be the cause for their everything,

Their all, their purpose, even their reasoning.

But whatever is done, all things considering,

Any actions taken will only be futile meddling

Because little do they know, little do they think

Their destinies are determined by the stars' reading,

The times to act are considerably fleeting,

And their lives could be changed by just one simple, chance meeting.

The time is unknown, the place undecided.

Fates cast into the wind, the answers quietly confided

Into the small ear of this lowly little writer

Who'll try her best, but pray tell do not bite her

If the updates are infrequent, for she knows it well:

When these things will happen, only time will tell.
