Eli was really busy the next couple of weeks with promotions and what not, so I didn’t see him a whole lot. I was occasionally recognized in public, but no experience was near as traumatic as the first had been. Their words still rang in my head. I even considered getting a haircut. Maybe then they would approve of my hairstyle.

I heard my phone ringing and I groaned as I tried searching around for it. Where is it!? Finally I found it and answered,

“Hello?”

“Inah!” I smiled: it was Eli. “Come out, okay. I have something for you!” I laughed,

“Alright. Just a minute.” I grabbed a jacket and made my way outside. I knew where he’d be.

I found him sitting on the bench behind my house. He smiled and stood when he saw me,

“Inah!” He pulled me into a big hug, and kissed me quickly. I smiled into his embrace. He pulled away and took my hands; dragging me over to the bench to sit with him. “I’m sorry it’s been so long since I saw you-” I shook my head,

“No. Don’t worry. I understand.” He sighed and smiled sweetly at me,

“You are so amazing. What did I ever do to get such an amazing girlfriend like you?” I smiled sadly,

“I think it’s me who should be saying that.” He looked at me with a questioning look,

“What? What makes you say that?” I sighed,

“No… It’s nothing…” He placed his finger under my chin and lifted my head up to look at him,

“Yes, it is something. What’s going on?” He looked concerned. I sighed,

“It’s just… I’m not good enough for you. You could be with anyone, yet you’re with me. I’m nothing special… I’m not pretty, smart, funny, talented…. I’m just me. I just… I don’t know.” He was silent for a moment as he took it all in,

“Inah… why did you start thinking of these things?”

“Umm… there were some fans and-” He cut me off at that,

“Inah. Don’t worry about them. Don’t listen to them. You are all those things you say you’re not and more. You’re beautiful, smart, funny, talented, charming, amazing! You’re everything! Of course you’re good enough for me! You’re more than good enough. Heck, I don’t deserve someone as amazing as you.” I stared at him, “Inah. Please believe me…” He stared into my eyes. Suddenly he remembered something and started rummaging around in his pocket, “Here. This is what I wanted to give to you.” He handed me a box. I opened it. Inside sat two rings. He took them out and placed one on my palm, “They’re couple rings. Now everyone will know that we’re a couple. I want them to know.” I stared down at it, “Here,” He reached out and took my hand, putting it on for me. He already had his on. He finished and just sat there, holding my hand tightly in his. He stared into my eyes, “Never let anyone tell you you’re not good enough. You are amazing and I love you. Never forget that.” I gulped and nodded. He smiled slightly, “Okay?” I allowed a small smile to grace my lips too. “Good,” He placed his hands on my cheeks. “I love you.” Then he leaned forward and kissed me. And as he kissed me, he wiped away all of my fears and worries. He was right. I shouldn’t worry. We love eachother and that’s all that matters. Their opinions mean nothing…

My life was a whirlwind after that. People knew who I was. It was hard: really hard. Sometimes fans gave me a hard time. It was those first few weeks that were the hardest. But, after a certain point, things changed. Rather than hate, I began gaining support. They loved me; they loved us. Sure, it was only a few, but that few made all of the differednce in the world. They supported our relationship. They were happy to see Eli happy. But, the most important thing was Eli. If it hadn’t been for him, I wouldn’t have been able to deal with these past crazy weeks.

Sometimes I wonder if any of this is real; if Eli Kim is really my boyfriend.

But then I smile and remember: This is my Reality.

Wow. So, this is the end...

I thought there were at least a few more chapters, but I guess not... :/

I really hope you enjoyed it and that it lived up to your expectations, although I must say that I personally like Reality Check waaaay better.
