The fans clap, they grow excited, they /scream/! And all because Sungmin hugs Kyuhyun from behind and they both smile broadly. Sungmin even whispers a few words to Kyuhyun, causing them both to laugh quite beautifully.
And it's nice, isn't it? To see Sungmin cling to Kyuhyun. To see the evil maknae go soft for a few moments, just for this one boy.

It's nice to see them act like potential lovers.
But some fans... some fans turn a blind eye to the subtleties of another possibility. One that's, truthfully, much more real. Much more delicately lovely.
The /real/ secret lovers.
They blind themselves with delusions of Kyuhyun and Sungmin. They blind themselves with the addicting fanservice that's thrown before them on a silver platter.
But do they ever take a moment to see the truth behind it all?
Because Kyuhyun is holding the hand of a smaller man. He's whispering to and dancing with a boy just a bit older than himself. He's laughing with him and hugging him, carrying him on his back and speaking about him like he's the most precious thing in the world. He watches him with love and longing. And sometimes, when there are no cameras, he sings him to sleep with the lullaby he supposedly wrote for Sungmin.
But most of all, he loves him.
When Sungmin lets go of Kyuhyun, making his way towards another section of the stage to sing and play alongside Yesung and Heechul, Kyuhyun seems lost for a moment.
Though his eyes soon land upon the small boy standing in the front, singing his heart out, waving merrily to the sea of sapphire, and his grin only widens.
Trying to seem inconspicuous, Kyuhyun makes his way towards Ryeowook, 'accidentally' bumps shoulders with him, and happily sings along side the boy that takes his breath away. And suddenly, he's singing straight from the heart again, stealing glances and occasionally allowing his shoulder or his hand to just barely touch against Ryeowook. It always seems accidental, and it always goes unnoticed. But Ryeowook knows what's happening. He knows that this is Kyuhyun's way of saying silent
