Yeah, that’s what he keeps on telling others.
“Wow, you two are a great couple!” someone complimented. “Ah, no we’re just best friends! Right, Krystal?” Kai replied. I bit my lower lip and forced a smile, “Uh? Oh yeah, best friends…”
I know; we’ve been best friend for like, uhm, 20 years?
Of course I’m happy!
Happy that he didn’t say I am nothing to him.
But I don’t know why I am like this.
It hurts me, a lot.
My heart feels vulnerable, gloomy and melancholy.
Is it because this feeling of mine?
I know I can’t love my own best friend.
But is it wrong for me?
To love him like how others do?
And is it wrong for me,
If I want a relationship more than a merely friend?
