I woke up in the middle of a small ivory room with cords and machines connected in some parts of my body. The monitor on my right shows the drumming of my heart the other one on my left was a big tank for my breathing. 

I pulled the cords that was on my hand and let my feet sway on the bed while I sit. How did I get here? I stood up from the  bed and left the room with my hands on my lower chest. The nurses and doctors were staring at me as I struggle to walk, my whole body was aching I can't even move properly. I reached the elevator door and  went inside, I pushed the top floor button and waited patiently. 

Ding!

The elevator door opened revealing a 12 step stairs, I held the railing and slowly coursed. Every step my feet drops, my body aches. I don't even know where my feet is taking me, but I trailed where it wants to go. When I took the last step I saw a chrome plated door that has golden edges and silver door knob. I twisted it and was greeted by fresh and soothing air. My eyes wondered all over, from the buildings to the clouds above. I took a glance at the girl sitting with her hands covering her face. I limpingly walked towards her and sat beside her.

" I'm sorry "

I hugged her tightly. She started hitting my chest " Why didn't you tell me? " She sobbed as I entangled my hand with her's

" I'm sorry " was the only words I could utter. I feel guilty for not saying it to her, this 'thing' was going for 3 years now and I can tell I'm a good secret keeper. No one as in no one, even my sister doesn't know that I have this heart problem. Even before I met my other half.

Flashback

When Tiffany told me that the guy is her ex-boyfriend my heart suddenly starts to ache. I started breathing uncontrollably, but i made sure that she doesn't see. I saw her looking down and staring at the ground.

My heart was slowly beating and my lungs were running out of air. I turned my back at her, to make sure that she doesn't see any of this. I curled my fist into a ball and held it on my chest.

The ferris wheel ride ended and I immediately went outside and offered my hands. She weakly flashed her eyesmile

" Wait here Tiffany, I'll just buy something" while I was walking I turned my head and saw Siwon heading at Tiffany's direction. He was with a y girl that has brown hair and white milky skin. I ignored it and ran to the nearest store. I bought a bottle of water and grabbed my orange medicine box and took a pill and drank it straight. I waited for 30 seconds to have it's effect on me, and thank god it did.

" Hmm, hey do you have a boyfriend?"I heard the girl said 

" Umm." I walked up to her and intertwined our hands 

" Babe who are they?" My body suddenly moved and pecked her lips. 

She was surprised, shocked and her face was blank

" Babe are you okay?"  She stared at me with her left eyebrow was raised

I gave her a go-with-the-flow look.

" Umh, this is Siwon and his girlfriend Suzy" 

Siwon was staring at Tiffany. I need to do something " Hi! I'm Kim Taeyeon, Tiffany's girlfriend" 

Siwon was angry. I can tell by the look on his face

"Well, we should be going, I don't want our ANNIVERSARY to be boring" 

" Sorry if I didn't tell you earlier, I'm afraid that if you knew about this you'll grew tired, taking care of me" 

She sobbed harder

" I will never get tired of you" Tiffany said in reassurance.

" I told you that I have a bad news, remember?" She nodded

" My operation will take 2 years of preparations and I'm afraid I can't-

I was cut off by a pair of plump lips.

" I'll stay here right beside you. We'll go through this together" She smiled and sobbed

I tackled her for an embrace " I love you"

" I love you too."

After that we went inside my room again waiting for Sooyoung, Yuri and Hyoyeon to come. I was lying on the hospital bed while Tiffany was sitting beside, holding my hand. She's staring blankly at my hand. I guess she's contemplating?

"Fany?!"

"...."

"Fany!?"

I waved my hands at her "Y-yes?" She said while she blinked her eyes many times "You've been spacing out, what's wrong?

"I'm afraid" 

"Afraid of what?"

"Of losing you."

I held her hand. I may not promise to be here with you, but if ever I die. I'll be staying inside your heart, guiding and supporting you. I showed her my left hand and let her see our ring "Forever, right?" I took out my ring and unhooked her necklace and put my ring inside it "turn around"I put the necklace back " I told you before that I'll love you always and forever" She nodded. I took her hand and her ring and put it on my necklace. I gave her my necklace and asked her to put it on

 “If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. I'll always be with you.”

I saw tears forming and slowly it was rolling at her cheeks. I used my thumb to wipe her tears "Don't cry"

She pulled me in for a long hug, it may seem like seconds, but for me it was like forever. I could do this all day.. NO, not all day, but for eternity. Exaggerated? I know, but if you're really in love, you will surely say things that your mouth can't utter before, Do things that you didn't imagine. This is what love is, it may break your heart into a million of pieces, but in the end of the day you still give and receive love. 

I reluctanyly pulled away and saw Yuri, Jessica, Sooyoung, Sunny and the others staring at us, their eyes are all puffy and red

"We're here for you, Tae "Jessica said as she walked towards me and pat my shoulders, one by one they all went up to me and smiled

"GROUP HUG!" Yoona shouted
