Just how clear is the distinction between like and love? Is there overlap of some sort possible?

People assume that, because I like Taemin, I love him, but I want to reject such thinking. Just because I like his company, does not imply unconditioned love. I admit that I love him… As a friend.

This only causes misunderstandings, and can mislead one to believe that one is indeed in love. I believe there is overlap between like and love, but not up to the point of unclear boundaries.

Like is like, in love is love, but love can be both. 

I believe that everyone will encounter a somewhat similar situation,
in which people will begin to believe you love a certain person,
when in reality, it is by far not the love they are thinking of.
This is just my vision on the matter, which I believe in.
Like the last sentence says... Like is like, in love is love, but love can be both.
