Soccer and rain are surprisingly a great match!
It was raining bunnies and unicorns.
No, actually. But it was raining.
Yuri was settled on the windowsill, cross-legged and pouting ever so cutely as she watched the rain go by; as if her aegyo would make the rain go away. She slumped and plopped and sighed and sobbed, but to no avail, the hasty weather looked like it was going to stay for a few days. Yunho spotted his girlfriend as he leaned on the white doorframe, a content smile lingering upon his lips.
“Babe, you okay?” his voice echoed with the pitter-patter of the rain against the roof.
His girlfriend threw herself helplessly into Yunho’s warm arms. He felt Yuri’s pout on his chest.
“Oppa, I’m miserable!” Yuri exclaimed with a booming tone.
She pointed to the ball at the crook of their apartment’s corner.
“We were supposed to play soccer!” his girlfriend added with a devastated tone.
The black and white soccer ball looked so sad and untouched; it almost looked like it was weeping and begging for them to play with it. Yunho scooped the ball and did a little trick that would always make Yuri cheer up.
“Then, let’s play soccer!” Yunho insisted, pulling Yuri to the door.
Yuri refused depressingly and sank on their bed with a grief-stricken groan. She flailed and thrashed her smooth arms and jerked her lengthy legs with despair.
“But it’s raining!” she protested, and whimpering under the sheets in utmost annoyance.
“So?”
“We even bought customized jerseys!”
Yuri sat up and tugged on her sleeveless shirt. Hers had a shade of blue; something in between sapphire blue and royal blue and it was adorned with a big, printed ‘05’ at the back of it, with the words, ‘Yunho’s Wifey’ on top of the number.
