Do You Remember That Time...

Ménage à Trois

"And then!" Jongin exclaimed, gesticulating wildly. "And then Sehun sneezed all over her. You should have seen her face! You should have seen Sehun's face! It looked like—" Jongin paused for a second to pat Sehun's cheek "—I don't even know what it looked like!"

Chanyeol brayed loudly, clapping his hands. "Doesn't that remind you of the time when Sehun walked the wrong way while receiving his school award? Even though both of us were in the crowd motioning for him to walk the other way, he still went the other way! You would think he'd figure it out after the whole crowd started laughing!"

Chanyeol reached out to hug Sehun, but Sehun jerked back, usually stoic face twisted into a frown.

"First of all, it was an accident I sneezed!" he argued heatedly. "Second of all, I was just confused on stage."

"Nobody says it wasn't an accident or that you weren't confused," said Jongin soothingly, reaching out to ruffle Sehun's hair.

"Yah!" Sehun jerked back again. "Don't treat me like a child." He pouted.

Unfortunately, this plan backfired on him as Chanyeol squealed and dragged Sehun into his tight embrace.

"Sehun! You're so cute!" exclaimed Chanyeol, and he swiped his finger across Sehun's lip, grinning widely.

"Chanyeol," Sehun said, but Chanyeol continued to coo over his head, and Jongin began to run his hands over Sehun's hips.

"Jongin. Chanyeol," protested Sehun. Jongin's hands continued to roam, and Sehun resisted the urge to roll his eyes. He just wasn't in the mood. Then, Chanyeol slipped a hand under his shirt, and Sehun decided it was time to make sure that they understood his intentions.

"Jongin! Chanyeol!" Sehun exclaimed. He quickly stood up and glared at them both.  "I'm tired. We should split up."

Both Jongin and Chanyeol stopped laughing. Chanyeol's warm hand still rested on Sehun's stomach, but Sehun didn't falter.

"You both always make fun of me and treat me like a child. Even whenever we're trying to make decisions, you always overrule me. It's really annoying and frustrating and…" Sehun trailed off, putting one hand on his face and closing his eyes. "I think we should take a break."

    "Like…a permanent break?"

Sehun shrugged. He hadn't exactly thought this through. "Just a break. If it turns out to be permanent, I guess it is." He bit his lip, thinking of permanently separating from Jongin and Chanyeol. It would be hard, yes, but the three of them weren't exactly the most normal couple. In fact, he couldn't quite remember how the three of them had gotten together at all.

"But why?" Chanyeol finally asked after a long period of silence.

"If you don't know," Sehun said, standing up and pulling on his coat, "then figure it out." He left Chanyeol and Jongin in shock as he swept out of the apartment.

"Yixing," Sehun said, propping up his chin on the older male's pillow and eyeing him, "how do you deal with it when Kris starts to treat you like a child?"

"He doesn't treat me like a child," replied Yixing, sitting down on the bed beside Sehun and patting the younger man's head. "At least most of the time, he doesn't."

"But when he does," Sehun whined.

Yixing pinched Sehun's shoulder sharply. "Have you ever considered that maybe they treat you like a child because in many ways you are still like a child?"

"Jongin and I are like the same age," protested Sehun. "Yixing, I didn't come to you to be lectured."

"Hush!" commanded Yixing, and he pinched Sehun's shoulder once again. "Just answer these questions. Does an adult run away from a problem?"

    "No…"

"Does an adult discuss their problems with a significant other or others in this case?"

    "Yes…"

"Does an adult complain when they are being pampered by people who love them?"

"But they're not pampering me!" Sehun pouted. "They're just embarrassing me."

"The next time it rains you'll understand what I mean when I say you're like a child," Yixing said, effectively ending the conversation as he began to tickle Sehun.

"Hey!" gasped Sehun, laughing as he tried to push Yixing away. "Who's the child now?"

    "We'll see!"

It was raining, and Sehun was utterly miserable. The morning had gone fairly well. It had been sunny, bright, and wonderful with no indication that the afternoon would go like this.

Sehun cursed as the rain once again began to pour down. He stared forlornly at the chemistry textbook he had been using to shield himself. It was completely ruined, and he would probably have to pay for a new one. The rain began to pour down harder, and Sehun lifted his messenger bag on top of his head and began to run.

It wasn't his fault he hadn't watched the weather. Usually Jongin and  Chanyeol were the ones to remind him if it was supposed to rain. His conversation with Yixing suddenly came into mind, and he narrowly missed crashing into a businesswoman and her umbrella.

Yes. Usually it was Jongin and Chanyeol who handed him the umbrella in the morning before he went to class, but lately, since he had been crashing at Luhan's place, he hadn't seen either of them lately…which meant they had not reminded him about his biology homework or his calculus exam or the fact that he had pissed off a girl recently and wasn't supposed to talk to her. Sehun winced at the memory of Jieun stomping on his foot. It still sort of hurt.

Sehun sighed and brought back down his messenger bag. It was already soaked through, and he was sure that so was his calculus homework. The rain continued to pour down, and he sniffled a little as he made it to the café. Hesitating outside the doorway, Sehun asked himself whether he was ready or not, but then again, he wouldn't be a child anymore. He understood what Yixing had meant now.

"Welcome to…" Jongin trailed off as he observed the sopping wet Sehun in the doorway. "Sehun, you're wet."

"You didn't remind me that it was going to rain today," Sehun sniffled, shivering.

Jongin immediately shot a glance at his manager, Joonmyeon, who simply nodded before grabbing Sehun's arm and dragging him into the back rooms. "You should remember to check the weather for yourself," scolded Jongin as he pulled out a towel from one of the supply boxes and began to dry Sehun's hair roughly. "Chanyeol and I won't always be there to remind you, you know?"

Sehun bit his lip and let out a small yelp as Jongin harshly scrubbed at his hair.

"Did you hear what I said?" Jongin asked, and Sehun looked down, so he wouldn't have to see Jongin's expression. Then he reached out and hugged Jongin's waist tenderly.

"Sorry for being a child," he mumbled, and he could feel the tension release from Jongin's body.

"You were a child," chided Jongin softly as he finished gently drying Sehun's hair and then tilted the boy's chin up. "You could have just told us that we were embarrassing you."

"Yixing told you guys, huh?" Sehun asked, but he couldn't bring himself to be angry as Jongin gently kissed him. They hadn't kissed in a while, and Sehun had almost forgotten how forceful Jongin could be when he hadn't had something in a while. Jongin forced Sehun to his feet to keep his balance and then back against the supply room shelf even as Sehun felt his knees begin to weaken.

"Jongin," Sehun gasped as Jongin's hands traveled down to his belt. "W-wait."

"I can't wait," Jongin groaned, and he pushed roughly against Sehun, making the younger boy whimper. "You've been gone so long, and Chanyeol…"

"Chanyeol won't let you top him?" replied Sehun cheekily, catching his breath long enough to tease Jongin. He regretted it soon afterward as Jongin pulled back, eyes twinkling and unbuckled his jeans.

"We're the same size, right?" he asked as he slowly began to slide down Sehun's jeans. "There's an extra set of clothes in my locker."

Sehun couldn't find the strength to protest as Jongin kissed him once again.

"So Joonmyeon-hyung caught you guys having in the supply room?" guffawed Chanyeol loudly.

Sehun buried his face into Chanyeol's pillow and resisted the urge to cry in frustration. He would never be able to look at the man in the eyes again.

"It wasn't exactly while we were doing it," Jongin protested. "He kind of walked in while we were almost done."

    "Almost, so you mean—"

"Let's not talk about this anymore!" exclaimed Sehun, raising up his head from the pillow. "I'm sorry! It was childish to have in the supply room where anybody could have caught us."

"Actually," Chanyeol said, grinning widely and leaning in toward Sehun, "I think it's y."

"W-what?" Sehun squeaked before hiding his face behind the pillow again.

    Chanyeol and Jongin both laughed.

"See," Chanyeol said. "You are cute." He wrapped Sehun in a hug, knocking the pillow out of his grasp. "You're the cutest."

Sehun could slowly feel the anger building up again as Chanyeol continued to coo in his ear. He hit his boiling point when Chanyeol began to his hair. "Chanyeol!" Sehun practically yelled. "What do I have to do for you to stop this?" Sehun flailed his hands wildly before burying his face in the pillow.

"Let's have in the supply room next time," Chanyeol said, and Sehun gaped, dropping the pillow he was holding.

    "What?"

"You never come during my shift," whined Chanyeol, and Sehun felt like he was about to die of embarrassment. "How come you and Jongin got to do it in the supply room but not me?"

"B-because!" Sehun stuttered, and Chanyeol laughed once again.

"See," he said, kissing Sehun's lips lightly. "You are still a kid."

Sehun allowed Chanyeol to kiss him and allowed Chanyeol to push him back on the bed while Jongin and Chanyeol began to whisper to each other.

"We'll have a shift together at the café next Thursday," Chanyeol said, smiling down at Sehun.

Sehun threw one arm over his face to cover his eyes but grinned back. "Okay. Okay, fine. I'll be there, but this means you can't call me a kid anymore!"

"You've never been a kid to me," Chanyeol replied, leaning over and pecking Sehun on the lips before kissing Jongin as well.

"Sorry about before," Sehun said lamely, suddenly sitting up and hugging his pillow. "I didn't…"

Chanyeol and Jongin both glanced at each other before linking hands and squeezing. Both of them reached out one arm, drawing Sehun into a warm embrace.

"I missed you," Sehun confessed, and both Chanyeol and Jongin hugged him tighter.

"It's going to rain on Thursday," Chanyeol said gently, brushing back Sehun's bangs and looking at him intently.

"Okay," replied Sehun meekly, and he smiled. "This time, I'll definitely remember to bring my umbrella."

Jongin began to laugh, and both Sehun and Chanyeol turned to him.

"Remember that time," Jongin snorted, "when Sehun tripped over the umbrella we gave him and fell into that muddy puddle, and he was wearing a white—"

"That's enough!" Sehun exclaimed, picking up the pillow and pouncing on Jongin.

"Oh, a pillow fight. So mature," Jongin teased, scrambling for another pillow, but Chanyeol grabbed it before Jongin could and grabbed Sehun, dragging the boy to his side.

"What?" Jongin gaped. "No fair! No double-teaming allowed!"

"You should've thought about that before you teased Sehun," Chanyeol replied, laughing as he pushed Jongin away with the pillow.

"So now you're on his side now?"

    Chanyeol shrugged, and Jongin grinned.

"Okay. Fine. How about that time Chanyeol tripped on stage at his school awards ceremony?"

"How about the time Jongin couldn't have for a week because he made both of his boyfriends mad?"

Jongin let out a squeak and fell quiet. Both Sehun and Chanyeol rolled their eyes at each other and put down their pillows.

"No more embarrassing stories," Sehun said, firmly poking Jongin's shoulder.

Jongin raised his hands in surrender. "Fine," he agreed, "but what about that time Chanyeol—"

He didn't get a chance to speak before he was bombarded with pillows and smothered in blankets.

Ah, sweet revenge, Sehun thought as he sat on top of a squirming Jongin and laughed. Chanyeol pecked him on the lips, and Sehun lost his focus, falling off of Jongin. Jongin quickly took the advantage and pinned Sehun underneath him.

"That wasn't very nice," Jongin said, his lips. "Let's see what we can do to change that attitude of yours."

Chanyeol smirked. This was going to be fun. He had tricks up his sleeve as well now. "Hey, Jongin, Sehun. Do you remember that time Joonmyeon-hyung caught you two in the supply room?"

Dead silence. Chanyeol's smirk widened. Oh, this would be fun.

Chapter 4: Wow. *cries* that was so beautiful. Have you ever thought about making a one shot so much more? You have the potential in the stories. I kind of get sad when there is no more to read because it doesn't really end. There may be no more words, but the stories all have open endings. I feel like if I click next it could be the next chapter to this specific one shot. It isn't, but I like the way you do that. It is refreshing ^^
I hope you come back from your hiatus to see all the wonderful comments people leave you
