Her father had abandoned the pair, mother and daughter, during her childhood. She made no attempts to remember his disloyal face as her mother individually raised her through all these years. At the age of seventeen, Cecilia was involved in a lab accident at school.

She removed the safety goggles off of her face after asking the teacher for permission and excused herself to go to the washroom. Just as she was walking down the lab benches to the door of the classroom, a fellow classmate had slipped, flinging the flask of liquid into the air. A mist of the liquid chemical came in contact with Cecilia's eyes. Fortunately, it wasn't serious.

The individual was told that she wouldn't be able to see until they've found an eye-donor. Life was blindfolded for her and she became hopeless, engaging herself in music since she couldn't see anything. No one approached her and if anyone did, her heart simply neglected their presence. It had already been eight months of darkness and loneliness for her, only receiving love from her mother.

A student passionate about music and attending the same school as Cecilia, Baekhyun comes across the hopeless girl. Realizing how lonely and dark her world is, he decides to become her light, guiding her and hoping that she would find happiness and reason in life again.

He gently placed his hand on top of her cold, pale hand and looked into the eyes that could not see. The eyes were nevertheless, beautiful. Her face, milky and smooth, untouched by the impure. "Cecilia," Baekhyun said softly, not wanting to startle the despaired girl. "Nothing is impossible. Let me help you see again. Let me be your eyes."

She didn't answer nor did she move. She sat in front of the piano in silence, letting his hand stay on top of hers. "How?" she whispered, her voice slightly shaking.

"Trust me, I will help you, only if you lend me your ears. Allow your ears to help you feel what you're missing." A small tear rolled down her cheek and she nodded, agreeing to Baekhyun's wish.

A blinded 18-year old attending the school Music High. Her father had abandoned her at a young age and she is left living with her mother. Becoming cold-hearted and locking her heart away, she neglects students who approach her and thus, her world has been swallowed up in darkness.

Baekhyun's best friend. A 20-year old student attending Music High who is popular with the girls in school and has morning class with Baekhyun.
