Description
The boy stood in front of the tombstone. Or, he was floating, to be precise. He sighed softly as he touched the cold stone with his see-through hands. After his death, he once again looked like a teenage boy, he was pretty thankful for it. He saw his own name carved into to grey stone, and he sighed again. He knew that he lived more than he ever wished for, but he was still sad. Jonghyun wasn't with him yet. After living with each other for many, many years, one day Key went to sleep, and he just didn't wake up. He would never think that it was his time yet, since he discovered that he was healthy, he thought that he was going to live for a very long time. But he didn't. Of course, being a ghost had it's advantages. For example, Key could fly, and communicate with other ghosts, or creatures. But he couldn't with humans. Practically that was why he hated everything about his life now. He wanted to speak to Jonghyun, to hug him. And he couldn't.. Not anymore... Or at least he thought.
For many years, he 'lived' like this. As a ghost, floating around places, scaring kids, just the usual. He would sometimes speak to his father, and mother, (who died a few years before him in an accident). That day was like that, too.. But suddenly, he felt something familiar. He felt a pair of eyes look at him, and he just recognized the glaze. It was Jonghyun. Just like Key, he was transparent.. A ghost.. But right now, neither of them could be happier..
Foreword
Well yeah~ Here is the sequel to Our Diary ^^ If you wanna read this, I would suggest you read that first, but expect for the few spoilers here, this can be read as a separate piece as well ^^ So.. actually I hated writing the last chapters to Our Diary, cause I was out of idea, but when one day I was walking around with a friend, I told her my idea of a sequel for it (she is a huge Shinee fan xD) So, after listening to the idea, she started joking around with what would she put into the sequel if she was me, and in the end, she gave me ideas xDD Love ya, girlx333 (I am going to force her to read this anyway xD) So practically I decided to write this.. There's gonna be a lot of fluff (most possibly) and maybe some humor too. The foreword is angsty, but the other chapters won't be :33 (though they might be, if there'll be many flashbacks in the story) xD So yeah, enjoy this short story x33333
Main Characters :
Kim Kibum (Key)
Has been a ghost for about 30 years, he died very suddenly. Once again, he is a teenager. He had been watching Jonghyun silently, but was suprised when the other died. He has a sort-of divaish personality, but he is really caring and sometimes mother-like towards the ones he love. He likes being a ghost because he can fly this way.
Kim Jonghyun
Key's lover. Died as a middle-aged man, still mourning his lover, but he looks like he did in high-school once again. He loves Key more than anything. He was extremely happy to find his lover so easily but he's still not sure about some things since he doesn't really like being a ghost. He can be really overprotective towards Key, but of course, he treasures the boy more than anything.
As Key floated around the familiar town, he 'bumped' into a familiar ghost. It was his father. Of course, he was sort of happy to be able to meet his family again, but he just couldn't accept being dead at first. He thought that he was going to grow old with his Jongie, and watch as their adopted children grow up, and have families. But no.. It just wasn't his fate. Of course, as he saw Jonghyun, who was still mourning him, years after his death, he just wished that he could be alive again. But he couldn't. And it hurt much more than death. But still, he wanted Jonghyun to be alive and well, for a long time. Even if he died at a fairly young age, he wanted his only love to live a long, happy life.
Well, Jonghyun's life was long, but not so happy. And as he lay on his deathbed, the only thing he could think of, was Key. He knew that he was going to see him again. And he was happy..
