Jessica’s POV~

I looked out the window of our bus, so Nichkhun wouldn’t see the nervous look on my face. This is perfect. Because of the alphabetical last name seating arrangement, I got to sit with Nichkhun for the whole bus ride home from Busan.

Maybe I’ll finally get to confess today.

“Uhh, Hi Nichkhun,” I whispered awkwardly trying to make conversation. Why do I always do that?
“Hi?” Nichkhun replied just as awkwardly, showing no interest in continuing the conversation. What do I say next? I can’t just confess out of no where. Right? How does CL talk to people so easily?
“So I heard you liked CL,” I said remembering what Jaebeom, Nichkhun’s roomate in Busan, told me. Obviously Jaebeom got some false info. Nichkhun’s not dumb enough to think that CL actually likes him.

But the embarrassed look on his face told me otherwise. He slowly his lips before talking.
“I...I guess. I think she’s pretty and she’s really awesome too...but I...” There goes my confessing plan. I felt voice crack, I didn’t know what to say or do. Why did this have to happen? I thought he liked me. I looked down at the ground so Nichkhun wont see the disappointment on my face.

“So will you please not tell CL. I want to keep it a secret for now,” Nichkhun adds. Okay maybe I’m just scaring myself. Maybe he does like me. He’s just saying this right now because I’m here. Why else would he not want me to tell CL?  I glanced back at CL wondering if she was sleeping on with Jaebeom. When I finally found her face I saw that she wasn’t asleep, her eyes were wide open and a look of curiosity was plastered onto her face. I wonder if she heard Nichkhun’s confession.
