I stare at him for a few moments mostly shocked by his sudden vulnerability, Jiyong didn’t look like the type to allow him to be so open with this kind of thing, so defenseless… “Jiyong.”

He sighs looking at me pulling me closer. “You have no idea how hard these last few weeks have been on me.”

Returning the embrace pulling us even closer I close my eyes.

“I know I can make you happy, I just need you in my life.” He whispers to me.

“Jiyong…I just don’t know anymore.”

Giving me a kiss I can feel him putting his all into it, making sure that I know exactly how he feels, without knowing how much I care for him.

I pull away kissing his cheek. “Jiyong…”

He stares at me in shock watching me as I back away from him. “Don’t”

“I do care about you, and I’d be a liar if I said I didn’t have strong feelings for you,” Pausing I look into his eyes. “I just don’t want to get hurt…” I whimper stopping with tears falling down my face. “You can’t hurt me.”

Walking closer to me slowly before wrapping his arms around me he hugs me tightly. “I wouldn’t dream of it.” He wipes my tears away.  “I’ll never hurt you.”

Wrapping my arms around him tightly. “I won’t leave.” I murmur into his neck.

Picking my up he carries me all the way down the stairs taking me down a few floors on the elevator before setting me down as he pulls me out into a hall, “I’m taking you home.”

Opening a door he leads me in waving to his friends who are now smiling ecstatically. “Hello Melissa.”

I wave to them shyly as Jiyong continues to lead me further into the apartment until he draws me into a room.

“My room.” He says with a smile. “My dear Melissa.”

I smile at him wiping the last of my tears away, holding his hand. “It’s nice.”

He chuckles twirling me into his arms. “My dear Melissa you’re too cute.”

Smirking at him I kiss his sweet lips. “My dear Jiyong you flatter me.”

“I’d like to make things official.” He says suddenly serious.

“Oh really?” I ask slightly taken back.

He nods his head. “I wasn’t expecting you to leave the country, but I did buy these.” Jiyong says pulling two rings out of his pocket, couple rings.

“You didn’t have to.” I whisper lookingat him with a sweet grin on my face.

He returns my smile with his own, while placing a ring on my finger then placing one on his. “I wanted to, I really wanted to.”
