Trading Wings for Love
Description
Sun-jung’s /your life turns upside down when an angel named Kai just miraculously appeared out of nowhere. She didn’t experience a boring and dull life anymore, everything in her life became much more interesting. She even got to experience feelings she had never felt before. The one where her heart started beating so fast and her face was constantly red and warm. But there was one problem angels and humans were never meant to be together. They were not allowed to love each other.
“Wings can take you anywhere.” He reminisces staring longingly at the summer sky. He wants to return. 'Maybe it was time to let him go.' He smiles wistfully, basking silently in the sunlight. The breeze lifts his maroon locks and sways them to the waves of air.
“But then, love can take your heart anywhere.” He cups your hand in his and looks at you sincerely. He looks content, the smile that made your knees buckle every time you saw it. He leans in closer to you, his warm calm breath grazing your skin. He places a chaste kiss on your forehead lifts your chin so your gazes meet.
“And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Foreword
Up above the skies, through the ozone layer and space, there lies a peaceful and harmonious place. Over there, you can not even shed a drop of blood, not even a single tear. Everyday is the same calm and happy atmosphere that makes your heart feel warm. It is where all the people with pure, beautiful hearts stay. If anyone shows the slightest hint of hurting others would be chased out. That place is called heaven. All these rules apply in the whole of Heaven except one place, the Royal Palace of Angels. In the so-called heaven feudal system, the angels are ranked second in control, the first being God obviously.
King of all Angels:
Everyone in heaven knows that the King of all Angels, ever since born has developed a very bad temper. He also had very weird mood swings. Once angered he didn’t care who you were and would punish you according to how angry he is. Everyone was very scared of him, no one would ever try to step foot into the palace. Even messengers would cower in fear just in the presence of him. Most people wondered how he even became king in the first place.
Kai:
Not to mention, his son Kim Jongin or most people call him Kai. Sure, he had the most beautiful features big brown gentle eyes, pure white skin, tall nose, silky maroon hair and beautiful soft lips. Despite all those handsome features, he was a very cold and arrogant boy. He only cares about himself and he was a born to be a troublemaker. Kai hates humans more than anything he views them as heartless and cruel, only knows how to emit horrific emotions and kill. To him they were like useless scrambling ants.
Sun-jung (You):
You were a normal average girl that didn’t stand out much in High school. So far you’ve had a very boring life and have absolute no interest in guys. But everything changes when you stumble across a beautiful angel. (That’s what you call him but you have no idea that he is actually an angel).
Sehun:
A strikingly handsome guy who is also an angel. He is Kai’s younger brother. He has always been hiding in the shadows of his brother. His brother was popular and outgoing while he was an introverted person. He likes being by himself. He fell in love with you ever since he saw you two years ago when he went to the human world with his father. He could never forget your bright smiling face, the one he saw on that day. Despite his poker face, he is actually a very shy boy on the inside. He goes to the human world to bring Kai back but then he meets you.
