Not all dreams come true...

Lonely Night in Osaka

It was the dream again. Though he knew he didn’t deserve it tonight for his harsh treatment of Daesung, he welcomed its comfort all the same. The dream always began the same no matter where he slept and he smiled into his pillow as a pair of strong arms made their way around his waist. Taeyang held his breath at the familiar sensation until hands clasped together against his hardened stomach. One of the hands opened and pressed flat against Taeyang’s abs, fingers splaying out gently, and causing him to exhale with a shiver. Warm air tickled the back of his neck a moment before a husky voice whispered softly in his ear.

“You made yourself too tired again didn’t you, hyung?” the voice lightly. Taeyang fought to remain still though his body wanted to squirm uncontrollably and he nodded dumbly.

“Well, you know it’s all for the fans,” he managed to squeeze out. His heart had kicked up it’s beat in his chest and he groaned internally, biting his lip in frustration.

“What’s wrong, hyung?” Taeyang felt a breath tickle across his cheek and opened his eyes to see Daesung’s face craning into view. His face was covered in shadow, a gorgeous smile plastered on his angelic face. Taeyang gasped at his closeness and covered it with a cough before shifting, slowly, onto his back. He loved this dream and every time he had it things would always feel better when he woke up in the morning. Daesung’s weight always felt very real to him and he tentatively reached up, placing his hands against his waist. Daesung stared down at his hyung after settling himself closer to Taeyang, that gorgeous smile still on his face. Taeyang glanced down Daesung’s body, eyes hovering over the perfectly tanned flesh covering the swell of his chest and down his sculpted abs to the thin, dark trail of hair disappearing down into his white sweat pants. Manicured feet peaked out from beneath the sweat pants and were rubbing against his. Taeyang couldn’t help but smile and he shook his head to answer the younger one’s question.

“There is absolutely nothing wrong right now,” his voice came out more hushed than he intended but it didn’t matter. Daesung’s smile brightened and he lowered his face closer, Taeyang raising his head at the same moment. They closed their eyes at the same moment their lips met, a sigh of pleasure escaping from them at the same moment. Daesung’s lips were just as soft and pliant as they ever were. And he always tasted sweet for some reason, as if he’d just eaten a dessert or something. One night, Taeyang could swear he tasted lemon meringue on Daesung’s tongue. He woke up the next morning smiling with the taste of fresh lemon in his mouth. Tonight, it was strawberries. Taeyang’s hands left Daesung’s hips and rose to gently cup his face in his hands. He slowly ate at the younger male’s mouth, using lips, tongue, and teeth to devour every bit of the sweet, fresh taste.  Daesung had started softly above him and had sunk his hands into Taeyang’s still damp locks. The heat between them began to grow gradually and Taeyang sat up straighter, releasing one of his hands to wrap tightly around Daesung’s waist. Taeyang struggled to separate himself from Daesung’s sweet mouth but he wanted more of the younger male. He trailed a line of kisses from Daesung’s jaw and down the length of his slender, muscled neck. The skin was taut and warm and before he could think, Taeyang closed his mouth on Daesung’s shoulder and bit down softly. The blonde cried out above him and Taeyang bit harder, clutching Daesung tighter against him. Daesung’s hands tightened in his hair and pulled him back. The look in Daesung’s eyes was smoldering, drawing Taeyang’s focused gaze and he leaned up to capture his mouth again.

They stayed in each other’s arms until the lights of the city began to dim; the slowly brightening sky in the horizon cast a luminous glow to Daesung’s cheeks.  Taeyang’s eyes drift lazily down to Daesung’s very swollen lips and the sleepy smile on them. Taeyang closed his eyes to his favorite image, a smile fixed on his own mouth. A sharp sound interrupted his sleep and Taeyang’s eyes reluctantly opened. Damn, it’s over already. The dreams were never long enough for him. Although it let him feeling blissful in the mornings, it also left him wanting more. He yawned and stretched out his frame, smiling as he his lips and tasted something sweet in his mouth again. “I love these dreams,” he said to the empty room, still and warm in the morning light. Taeyang showered and dressed quickly. He was eager to meet the other members downstairs for breakfast and eager to see him.  He needed to apologize for last night and how he’d treated him. He would spend the whole day trying to get Daesung to forgive him if he needed to. Large, black shades adorned his smiling face while black jeans, a white tee, and black leather jacket completed his basic morning outfit. He threw a black cap over the mess that was his hair and headed out the door. Everyone who passed him that morning couldn’t help but smile to match his and that included the members who had already gathered at a table in the hotel’s restaurant. Of course, they had selected the most secluded table; it was up a small flight of stairs and had a larger table with more comfortable chairs than the rest of the restaurant.

“Good morning fellas,” Taeyang crooned brightly, plopping himself down into one of the comfortable dining chairs. Jiyong, Seunghyun, and Seungri all smiled back at him, pushing food towards him and giving their morning greetings. Taeyang’s eyes slid directly across from him, finding Daesung hunched over his plate and hurriedly shoveling food into his mouth. “Good morning, hyung.” Daesung murmured quietly before he began eating again. , he’s mad at me, Taeyang sighed inwardly but he brightened his smile anyway and pressed on.

“Listen Dae, I’m sorry about last night. I didn’t mean to snap at you like that. I was just tired and-“

“It’s alright, hyung,” Daesung interruptedly quickly. “ I know you didn’t mean it.” He dragged over another plate of scrambled eggs and began consuming them. Taeyang knew that it may be hard to get Daesung to forgive him but Daesung wouldn’t even look at him directly.

“Daesung, why don’t you show your hyung your little souvenir from last night?” Jiyong’s voice suddenly sounded, followed by snickers from Seunghyun and Seungri. Taeyang’s smile faltered and he looked to Daesung again with a question in his eyes. The younger male had frozen midway between chewing into a piece of bacon, his eyes hidden beneath the fringe of his blonde hair. Jiyong’s hand shot out and tugged at Daesung cream colored sweater. Beneath the wide band of his white tank top were small, red welts and what looked like teeth marks decorating his tanned flesh. Taeyang paled slightly as Daesung spared him a quick glance, embarrassment coloring his cheeks. The air seemed as though it had no desire to fill Taeyang’s lungs again as he struggled to breathe. Seunghyun and Seungri had joined in the teasing of Daesung now, their jokes seeming to be the continuance of previous taunting.

“I’ve asked our Dae to tell me who the lucky girl is but he won’t budge.” Jiyong pouted, slouching back against the upholstered dining chair and crossing his legs with attitude.

“It was nobody hyung, I swear.” Daesung whined softly, hunching even lower over his plate of food and trying to hide. Taeyang stared straight ahead, seeing nothing. He picked up an apple and stood from the table, eyes safely hidden behind his shades.

“I’m going to hit the gym fellas,” he grinned and made his way around the table again, face turning to stone as soon as his back was to them. He could feel eyes on him but couldn’t care less about whom they belonged to. His pleasant mood was gone. With each step he hit on his way down, Taeyang resolved to let go of his ridiculous dreams of Daesung. He had someone else. He wasn’t thinking about him at all.  At all… The very things he had dreamed of doing with Daesung and he was out doing them with someone else. Taeyang’s eyes blurred slightly and he blinked back the sudden moisture. He crossed the main lobby of the hotel and made it to the elevators without bumping into any of the staff. As the doors were about to close, he heard a breathy, “Hyung!”  He glanced up to see Daesung there panting and leaning against the closing doors. “Hyung, I wanted to say that I forgive you. I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out today?” Daesung’s voice was hopeful but Taeyang’s response crushed all that. The younger male continued to stand in front of the elevators long after they closed, Taeyang’s words still hanging on the air.

“Leave me alone…”
