Dara sighed as the plane lands.

"this it..." she tells herself.

Slowly the plane descends. "welcome to Los Angeles"

The place is crowded, she makes her way to the immigration. She waited in line, behind her she hears a language she knew by heart, she listens carefully.

"yeh... Just landed, i will contact you as soon as we meet" the voice said.

Slowly Dara leaned a leaned back a little, as she can no longer hear anything

"um, its finish" the man whispered to her. She immediately straighten up, and noticed that the immigration officer is already calling for her, embarrassed she hurried to the officer.

The guy just smiled. She turned slowly and the guy saw him and smiled again,she looked away.

After, she went outside the airport,there her ride is waiting for her. When she got in the car,she saw the guy from awhile ago. She looked at him,and smiled.

At the hotel, she relaxed for awhile but she keep seeing the guy's face. She shook her head. Suddenly her phone rings.

"where the hell are you?" the person on the line yelled.

"I'm here at Crowne Plaza hotel. " Dara answered

"FYI! Your parents just called my parents...what are you planning to do? And what the hell happened and you eloped?"

"long story,can you meet me now?" Dara asked

"i can't right now,maybe tomorrow, be sure you have a very good reason!"

"okay.." Dara answered

" do you have money? I'm sure you have your credit card?"

"i drained my savings, and no i can't use my credit card, they can trackme" dara replied

"now that is serious...anyways ill just see tomorrow"

With that they hanged up. Dara sighed,and took a bath.

"I'm here at crowne plaza,where are you?" Chris uttered, when someone tapped his shoulder

"hello bro" it was Gary

He looked at his brother, as he sits down. Gary smiled at him

"do you think running away makes you cool?do you know how worried we are? The engagement is just a few days from now" Chris asked

"I'm not running away,I'm walking away" Gary replied

"whats wrong with you?" Chris asked

"whats wrong?! Everything is! The whole merger thing! Marriage of convenience, if its okay with you, well its not with me." Gary answered

Chris looked at him angrily.

"i heard you too are going to get married" Gary uttered

" its for..." Chris stopped

" another merger?" Gary cut him and smirked. Chris sighed

"haven't we learned anything from this? Just look at us, we were born out of obligation, our parents also a product of families merging their businesses, growing up with parents who feels nothing for each other, do you want that? Well i don't. Look at dad, he disappeared and the next thing we knew he's dead, caught in an accident with another woman in her car. I don't want that” Gary explained

“and walking away will solve it? What about mom?” Chris asked

“what about her? She doesn't care. She's numb” Gary uttered

“well at least go back to Seoul and explain yourself.” Chris added

“I'm sorry brother, but I think you can handle that” Gary replied, standing up and walking away

“Ya! Gary! Jiyong-ah!!!” Chris exclaimed, he looked around and saw the people staring at him, he looks down left money on the table and walked out fast after Gary.

Dara decided to go down to have dinner, she was supposed to go to the hotel's restaurant but changed her mind, she thought she should spend wisely. So she decided to go out, when someone bumped her and dropped her bag, its was Gary.

“ooppss, sorry for that” Gary uttered and hurried away.

When Dara turned around, he's far gone, she got down and pick up her things when again, someone bumped her and she fell on the floor...

“yaahhh!!!” Dara shouted

“Miss, Im sorry, are you okay?” It's Chris.

He helped her get up, and when Dara turned

“why you...” Dara stopped at the sight of Chris, he looked at her

“Its Ms. Eavesdropper” Chris uttered in korean smiling

“Ummm, I can't understand you” Dara replied in english

“Aha, now you don't understand” Chris replied this time in english

Chris just looked at her, still smiling

“I didn't mean to listen, its just that..” Dara uttered

“Its okay” Chris replied

Dara smiled.

“so are you in a vacation?” Chris asked

Dara surprised “Um, yeah...vacation, you?”

“well I'm on search of someone” Chris replied and looked at Dara

Dara alarmed just looked away.

“oh well, good luck on looking for that someone” Dara uttered and slowly walks away

Chris picked up something it was Dara's wallet, when he looked up, Dara was walking away fast

“w-wait!” Chris exclaimed, upon hearing that Dara ran as fast as she could. Surprised, Chris ran after her, “wait” Chris exclaimed

“huh? Why is he running after me?” Dara uttered when he saw Chris running after her, she continued running a little, she looked back again and Chris isn't there anymore, she stopped, catching her breath. Dara didn't noticed that there's a car coming, surprised she closed her eyes, when someone pulled her.

“Are you crazy?” Chris exclaimed. Dara looked at her and started cry....
