“Appa! Why are you here?” Woohyun decided to approach Wonbin and Geumji standing in the rain with an umbrella

“Woo..Woohyun-ah” Wonbin and Geumji moved away from each other

“Why’re you here? What’s wrong with Hyuna?” Woohyun asked as Wonbin and Geumji glanced at each other

“Woohyun-ah, come in. I have something to tell you” Wonbin said as Woohyun did while Geumji just sighed following them

“WHAT?... What did you just say? Did I hear wrong or you just say she’s my mother?” Woohyun’s eyes went round after listening what Wonbin said

“Yes, she’s your biological mother. We were separated because your grandma didn’t like her” – Wonbin

“So Hyuna and I are brother and sister?”

“Ani” Geumji spoke

“Huh?” Woohyun got shocked again turning to her

“She’s an orphanage. I adopted her”

“WHAT?”

“She knew you’re my son so she thought just like you that you two are related. But… back then… she knew the truth…” her eyes turned teary again

“Hyuna-ah…” Woohyun felt hurt as his phone suddenly vibrated

“Ye…” Woohyun was cut off right away after he picked up the call

“Come to Seoul Hospital NOW!!!” Yeol shouted then hung up

“Wha… What’s wrong? Is that Yeol? Did something happen to Hyuna?” Geumji held Woohyun’s arm

“He told me to come to Seoul Hospital” – Woohyun

“My poor baby… Bring me there! Please~ Hurry!!!” she stood up right away crying

“Arrasso” Wonbin and Woohyun quickly stood up heading to the car outside

{Seoul Hospital}

“Yeol!!” Woohyun called spotting from far

“How did you… with them?” Yeol was surprised seeing Woohyun with Wonbin and Geumji

“I know everything… How’s she? Is she okay? What happened?”

“Don’t know yet. The doctor is checking. She was running then a car appeared and almost crashed her”

“My baby…” Geumji cried harder

“It didn’t touch her, auntie. The driver stopped in time but somehow she fainted”

“Doctor’s here” – Wonbin

“Doctor, how’s my daughter?” Geumji ran to the doctor

“She’s fine. She’s just exhausted. Seem like she didn’t take the medicine lately so the wound on her belly is really bad. You should prevent it from getting worse. I just injected her. She’s sleeping. You can come in” the doctor left

“Hyuna-ah… Umma’s sorry” Geumji entered the room and sat on the bed

“I don’t want you to know because I’m afraid that you may feel being abandoned” she caressed Hyuna’s cheek

“How did you know?” Woohyun asked Yeol while they were standing behind

“She told me” Yeol answered simply

“She asked you to help her break up with me, right?”

“Yeah”

“She could just tell me”

“Then what would you do? She doesn’t want you to feel as painful as her. One person in pain is enough”

“Why is she always the one take the pain?” Woohyun sighed

“You three can go now. I’ll stay here” – Geumji

“I’ll stay with you, umma” Woohyun’s statement made everyone surprised

“Let him stay. In case she wakes up and feels hungry” Wonbin was happy

“A…Arrasso” she was still in shock

“I’ll go hom then. Text me if she’s awake. Goodbye, uncle and aunt. Bye” Yeol tapped Woohyun shoulders and bowed to Wonbin and Geumji before leaving

“Thank you, Yeol-ah. Good night” – Geumji

“Good night, auntie”

{Next day}

“Uhm…” Woohyun slowly woke up from the sofa

He rubs his eyes and looks around. Geumji’s still sleeping on another patient’s bed. Then he’s frozen when turning to Hyuna’s bed. It’s empty. He rushes to the bed and sees her patient’s clothes are put neatly on the bed.

“Umma, umma, wake up…” he woke Geumji up

“What’s wrong?”

“Hyuna has disappeared”

“WHAT?... Where did she go?”

“What time did you sleep, umma?” he asked why checking the bathroom in the room

“About 4AM… Where can she be, Woohyun-ah?” she held his arm

“I… Let me ask Jiyoon if she came to her or not”

“That’s right. They’re close. She may come there”

“Jiyoon-ah, is Hyuna with you?” Woohyun dialed Jiyoon’s number

“Hyuna? No. What’s wrong?”

“Yesterday, her wound is in terrible condition. She left the hospital without saying anything”

“Hospital? Why was she sent to the hospital?”

“Long story. Do you know where she can be? She’s still weak”

“Uhm… At the moment, no. BEAST and 4MINUTE aren’t in Korea. It’s just me… Have you checked her house?”

“Ah, right. I forgot. I’ll go there. Thanks, Jiyoon”

“Call me if she’s home or not. I’ll help you find her”

“Arrasso” Woohyun hung up

“So? Is she there?” Geumji looked worried

“No, umma. So now we’ll come back to your house and check”

“Then go quickly, quickly” she immediately took her coat and opened the door

“Before that, you ask the doctors or nurses first to make sure. I go take the car”

{Geumji’s house – After 1 hour}

“Where can she be?” Geumji sat on the sofa and cried

“Umma, she’ll be alright” Woohyun and Wonbin sat beside rubbing her back

“Are you sure there’s no place she can be?” Yeol asked Jiyoon since they and Kyu had come to help find Hyuna

“My house, no. School, no. The shop she works, no… Wait!! Can be…” Jiyoon remembered a place as her phone also rang

“Noona~” Dongwoon’s voice came out

“Woonie?” Jiyoon was surprised as everyone in the room looked at her

“Noona, is something bad happened to Hyunie?”

“I… So she’s really with you? You came back to Korea?”

“Yeah, just arrived home. I saw her miss call hours ago then my nanny called saying that Hyuna was in my tree house. She just sat under the table and looked blankly”

“How’s she? She’s okay, right? Keep her there. We’ll come”

“My doctor is taking care of her wound. Why’s she injured?”

“I’ll tell you when I reach. Bye, Woonie”

“Hyuna’s at Dongwoon’s house?” – Yeol

“Yeah, I forgot that place. Dongwoon’s the first one Hyuna’s close with. They have known each other since nursery. Now, let’s go. I know his place. I’ll bring you there”

“Is she okay?” – Woohyun

“Yeah, she’s fine”

“See, umma? She’s alright. Don’t cry” Woohyun wiped the tears on Geumji’s face

“Arrasso”

{Dongwoon’s mansion}

“Master, your friends arrived” a maid said to Dongwoon

He is leaning on the wall beside the bed and holding Hyuna’s hand to encourage her since the doctor is touching her wound.

“Bring them here… They’re here, Hyunie” he told the maid then turned to Hyuna and gave her a smile when Hyuna was emotionless

“Dongwoon!!” – Jiyoon

“Hyuna!!” Geumji was running to the bed where Hyuna was

“Aaaaaa, get away from me” Hyuna suddenly moved backward holding her head tightly and screaming

“Hey, watch out” the doctor hadn’t finishing bandaging

Hyuna almost falls down to the floor but Dongwoon catches her in time.

“Hyuna-ah…” Geumji took another step as her eyes turned teary

“Aaaaaa, get away, get away” Hyuna quickly stood up and hid behind him weakly

“Hyuna, don’t you recognize me?” tears started falling down to Geumji’s cheeks again and Hyuna looked terrify holding his shirt tight

“Hyuna…” Woohyun had gone and stood in fron of Dongwoon

“Aaaaaaaa” Hyuna kept holding her head and shaking it continuously

“Please, leave for a while. Blood is coming out again. It’s not good for the patient” the doctor suggested

“Auntie, please come out for a while” Dongwoon looked at Geumji sadly as she just nodded and did what he said

“Hyuna-ah, it’s okay. No one’s here” he spoked gently as Hyuna stepped out

“Now, lie down. We need to bandage your wound” he leaded her to the bed again

{Outside the room}

“What’s wrong with her? Why didn’t she recognize me?” – Geumji

“Are you sure the car didn’t hit her?” Woohyun asked Yeol

“I’m sure. I was there” – Yeol

“Dongwoon!!” Jiyoon saw Dongwoon got out the room with the doctor

“Oh, noona. Auntie” Dongwoon greeted

“How was she when the nanny found her? Was her head injured or something?”

“Ani. She was totally fine”

“So how can she not recognize us?”

“Maybe because of shocking news” the doctor suddenly spoke

“Huh?” everyone looked at him

“Let’s sit first and I’ll explain”

“I know few cases like this. The patients have been through a lot of shocking news that their brain can’t handle. When something is overloaded, it tends to delete things. And her memory is like that” the doctor explained clearly when every was sitting in the livingroom

“You’re saying that her memory is deleting us?” – Woohyun

“But what about me? She still remembers me?” – Dongwoon

“The ones who are in this situation just forget the people who brought pains to them or somehow related with the pain. The ones who made them happy, they still remember” – the doctor

“So can it be cured?” – Kyu

“It depends on how the patients want or not. In her case, I think it’s quite hard. The normal situation, the patient doesn’t get headache when meeting the people he doesn’t want too meet. But her head aches when she meets you. It’s quite rare” the doctor commented

“She just forgets people create the pain, right?” – Yeol

“Ani. The people relate to the pain”

“That means we can be the ones?” – Jiyoon

“Yeah”

“Still. What about me?” – Dongwoon

“You don’t relate anything to these pains” Woohyun sighed

“So what will we do now?” Geumji spoke up after few minutes of silence

“You can let her stay here with me, auntie”

“Yes, for this time for sure. But what’s about future? She can’t stay here forever” – Jiyoon

“Just temporary plans first. We’ll find a way later” – Yeol

“Master” a maid suddenly approached

“Yes?” – Dongwoon

“She’s looking for you”

“Oh… Excuse me then. Take the doctor home” he requested a maid

“It’s late. I think we should leave now” – Geumji

“Huh? Are you sure?” – Wonbin

“Yes. She will get hurt if she sees me. So…” she got out the house

“Geumji-ah” he ran after her

“Are you okay?” Kyu looked at Woohyun

“No” Woohyun lowed his head

“Let’s take a look at her before going home” – Jiyoon

The four stand outside the room and peak in. Hyuna’s arm is around Dongwoon’s waist while he’s tapping her back gently. His head is resting on hers and her head’s burying to her chest. They are saying something that makes her smile with her eyes closes. Woohyun wants to be in Dongwoon’s place so badly. He wants to hug her, to protect her but no. He’s always the person who’s being protected. He hates that. He curses himself watching the scene before leaving with the others.

The ideas are in my mind. I thought a chapter was enough. I didn't know that was this long >"<
