A Double Life

It took tremendous effort to open your eyes, your brows furrowed slightly as you felt something or rather someone on your lap. “Umma~” a little voice sang.

You eyes fluttered open only to come face to face with Yongmin, you immediately smiled and wrapped your arms around him pulling him close whilst he wrapped his little arms around your neck.  You stayed like that until Yongguk appeared in the doorway, surprisingly with a tray of food in his hands.

“Mummy look what daddy and I made you” Yongmin squealed as Yongguk walked forwards, he gave you a quick peck on the cheek before scuttling from the room.

Yongguk just laughed as Yongmin ran past, “Hi beautiful” he said as he placed the tray on your lap once you had sat up. “Nice” he commented, referring to the fact that the duvet had fallen and had revelled your bra-clad s littered with love bites.

“Geez honey, lay off the biting next time would you?” you said as you inspected yourself before pulling the duvet up to cover yourself.

“You only brought it on yourself” Yongguk said, walking around to sit on his side of the bed.

You pinked slightly but stuck out your tongue, leaning back against your pillows and glancing down to look at the food on the tray. Beautifully arranged was your favourite: scrambled eggs on toast with orange juice.

You smiled softly at Yongguk who smiled back, “What brought this on?” you asked picking up your fork and scooping some eggs into your mouth and closing your eyes, savouring the taste.

“I just thought my beautiful wife deserved breakfast in bed for a change” he said, causing you to giggle.

“Well it’s wonderful thank you Oppa” you said as you leant over to him and gave him a kiss.

He watched you eat for a minute before he placed a kiss to the top of your head, “I’d better go and check on Yongmin” he said and left the room throwing a smile over his shoulder at you as he did so.

You just didn’t know how you got so lucky. You peered over at the clock and you gasped. 06:41am. You hurriedly ate your breakfast and proceeded to get ready for work.

When you emerged downstairs you were surprised to see both Yongguk and Yongmin, washed, dressed and eating breakfast. “You didn’t want to eat with me?” you teased, sticking your lower lip out. Yongguk just chuckled whereas Yongmin immediately jumped out of his seat, worried that you were mad at them, “Mummy I’m sorry please don’t be mad, daddy made me.”

“Heyyy!” Yongguk whined.

You just giggled and picked Yongmin up and kissed him all over his face, having to hold him tight when he protested and tried to wiggle away. You giggled as you let him go back to his seat, wiping his face with a mock scowl as he did so.

You went past them into the kitchen and were once again surprised; a flask of coffee, lunch and your bag were already packed for you, waiting for you on the kitchen island. You smiled at Yongguk’s thoughtfulness; he really was just too good to you.

 “Yongmin give umma another kiss I’m leaving now” you called as walked into the hallway and you placed your feet inside your heels. Yongmin came running down the hallway and clutched onto your legs causing you to stumble slightly. You crouched down and let him kiss your cheek before kissing his nose which he once again wiped off.

“Do you not like my kisses anymore?” you asked, pouting at him. He only poked his tongue out before running up the stairs, “See you later Umma.”

Yongguk chuckled as he appeared from the dining room; “Yongmin brush your teeth for daddy” he called up the stairs. “Neh Appa!” he called back down.

You smiled softly as Yongguk walked towards you; you opened your arms which he gladly stepped into, wrapping his arms around you waist whilst you did the same. He leant down and pecked your lips. “Have a good day at work, I’ll miss you” he muttered against your lips.

“I’ll miss you too, thank you for everything this morning it was incredibly thoughtful of you” you said leaning up to peck his lips again, “I don’t know how I got so lucky.”

“Hey that’s my line” he grinned before reconnecting your lips again, deeper this time.

You moved your lips against one another’s in no rush, even though you had to leave for work. It was just the two of you, no one else, and you felt time stop as Yongguk poured his love into the kiss.

You pulled away for breath but keeping your foreheads together, “I really should go” you said breathlessly but Yongguk only reconnected your lips and slowly walked you back until you felt your back touch the wall. He cupped your again, obviously his favourite body part on you, and began to kiss down your neck, careful not to leave any marks. “Yongguk please I’m going to be late” you muttered.

“Why don’t you just stay at home with me today, we can have the day to ourselves” he said lowly, pushing his hips into yours.

“Appa I can’t get the toothpaste out!” Yongmin suddenly yelled from upstairs causing the both of you to freeze, you had almost forgotten about him.

“Give appa 5 minutes and I’ll be up. Go into mummy and daddy’s room and watch TV okay” Yongguk yelled back. After hearing Yongmin’s footsteps retreat further away he turned back to you only to see you opening the closet by the door to get your coat out.

He quickly followed you and pushed you in, shutting the door behind him and clicking on the light as he did. “Yongguk what are-“but he silenced your protests by kissing you deeply once again.

He shoved his tongue into your mouth and pushed you backwards until your back hit the wall of the closet, his hips once again snug against yours. He gripped your left knee and brought it up so it was resting against his hip, suddenly grinding up into you causing you to moan into his mouth. His hand left your knee and began to travel along your lifted leg, pushing up your skirt so it rested against your thighs; you had suspenders on once again and you could feel his smirk against your lips.

He moved down to run his tongue along your neck as his fingers began to rub you teasingly against your . You squealed slightly, eyes opening wide as you attempted to get his hand out from under your skirt but he lightly bit down on your neck and growled.

He removed his other hand from your waist and roughly un-tucked your blouse from your skirt, moving his hand underneath them to squeeze your s through your bra. You gasped but brought him closer still, playing with the hair on the back of his head, the thought of work almost completely forgotten now as he once again reconnected your lips.

The atmosphere was getting extremely heated, the both of you beginning to pant however before Yongguk could touch you where you really wanted him a small voice called out, “Appa? Umma?”

You both immediately stopped, eyes snapping open but with your lips and hands still pressed against one another as you listened out for Yongmin’s voice again only this time it sounded much closer to the closet.

The door handle rattled suddenly causing you and Yongguk to comically jump apart from each other and try to make yourself presentable again. You quickly pulled your skirt back down, readjusted your bra and quickly buttoned up and tucked in your skirt again. Yongguk opened the closet door to see Yongmin’s innocent face staring back up at him, “Appa what are you doing?”

Before Yongguk could answer you answered for him, “He was just helping me get my coat darling.” Your face was rather red and you hoped he would buy it. It seems he did for he smiled suddenly before telling Yongguk to hurry up and come upstairs. “Okay Minnie let me just say goodbye to mummy.”

You both watched until he disappeared once again up the stairs and you both let out sighs of relief, “He’s almost caught us twice now” you harshly whispered as you walked out of the closet doorway and searched for your missing heel that had fallen off during your little escapade.

“Perhaps we should try to be more careful” Yongguk suggested with a smirk on his face as he leant against the wall and watched you fix your hair and makeup in the mirror. “Or perhaps you should learn to control yourself” you snapped back causing him to burst into laughter.

He walked over to where you were trying to fix your hair and wrapped his arms around your waist and smiled softly at you whilst you grumbled in annoyance, “I can’t help myself sometimes jagi, you’re just too irresistible” he muttered.

You couldn’t help but smile slightly; you knew just how he felt sometimes, turning around in his arms and returning his embrace and leaning up to give him a soft kiss. Yongguk pulled away and rested his forehead against yours and you both simply stayed there contently for several minutes, swaying back and forth. “So are you not going to work then?” he asked.

You quickly pulled away and looked at your wrist watch to see that you were running severely behind, you squealed and pulled away from Yongguk’s hold and grabbing your discarded things on the floor. He quickly pulled you back though before you could run out the door and pecked your lips, “Drive safe” he said with a smile still on his face.

“Bye Yongmin mummy’s leaving now” you yelled and with a death glare at Yongguk you fled out of the door. Yongguk watched until your car disappeared from sight, a content smile still on his face the whole time before he turned and went back inside the house.

It was early evening by the time you left work, the sun just about to start its descent casting a lovely orange colour across the sky; you had to stay a bit later to finish off some paper work due to you being late earlier that morning.

“Stupid Yongguk” you grumbled to yourself as you placed your things into the boot of your car, but you still had to bite your lip from smiling as you thought of that morning. You sat in the driver’s seat preparing to call Yongguk but he beat you to it.

“Jagiya where are you? You should have been home over an hour ago” he whined into the phone, you clucked your tongue as you started the engine, clicking the Bluetooth so Yongguk’s voice now filled the car.

“Well if somebody hadn’t gone all on my this morning I would’ve been home on time” you snapped but Yongguk could hear the smile in your voice. He grumbled under his breath something about how it wasn’t his fault which made you laugh, “Anyway honey I was just about to call and tell you I’m on my way home, do you need me to stop off and get something for dinner?”

“Actually no, I have a surprise for dinner.”

“A surprise?”

“Mhmmm” his deep voice echoed around the car and you could practically hear the smile in his voice. In the background you could hear Yongmin giggling.

“Are you going to tell me what it is?” you asked.

“If I told you then it wouldn’t be a surprise would it honey?” he replied.

You only rolled your eyes and sighed in annoyance; you didn’t dislike surprises, the waiting always kept you on edge, a feeling you didn’t particularly like however Yongguk loved surprises. “Fine then, I’ll be home in about half an hour.”

“Okay Jagiya see you soon.”

When you pulled up to your house you immediately noticed that there were no lights on, frowning slightly you climbed out of the car and quickly walked up to the door, pulling out your keys as you did so. Unlocking the door you pushed the door open before stepping in; darkness met you, the light from outside only lighting up the foyer but you were left in darkness as you shut the door.

“Oppa, Yongmin are you here?” you called as you switched on the light for the hallway.

Stepping further into your home you froze from taking your heels off as you heard a creak not too far from you, followed by a small giggle. You slowly walked down the hallway and noticed that Yongmin’s playroom door was firmly shut; it was always open on your orders so you wandered over and just as you were about to turn the handle the door suddenly flung open, causing you to scream and stumble backwards.

A figure came streaming out and scooped you up and flung you over their shoulder causing you to scream again even louder. As they made a beeline for the front door you heard more steps from behind you, lifting your head you saw Yongmin following you, a big cheesy smile on his face as he did so. As you finally left the house once again you realised what was happening.

“Yongguk” you yelled, slapping him on the back as he and Yongmin simultaneously erupted into laughter at your reaction, “Put me down!”

Once he reached the car he did, placing you on your feet and pecking your lips, “Into the car now honey.” He said, opening the door for you and slightly pushing you inside. He shut the door once you had complied and strapped Yongmin into his seat in the back before walking around and getting into the driver’s seat.

“What the hell Yongguk!” you said slapping his shoulder as he zoomed off down the street, “You could’ve just said you wanted to take me out rather than kidnap me.”

He only laughed as he glanced sideways at you before looking in the rear-view mirror at Yongmin, “It’s not my fault honey it was Yongmin’s idea.”

You looked back at Yongmin with a raised eyebrow but the little boy only blinked innocently, acting as if he hadn’t heard a work you or Yongguk had said before turning to look out of the window. “Goodness me that child is going to take over the world someday” you muttered to yourself, “Where are we going anyway?”

Yongguk once again chuckled before taking your hand and squeezing it softly, “Sorry jagi can’t tell you that” he said but seeing your pout he lifted your hand up to his mouth and kissed it before returning it to your lap, “Don’t worry you’re going to love it.”

“We’ll see about that” you huffed crossing your arms and turning to look out the window as the urban areas began to disappear.

Eventually Yongguk pulled into Downtown Seoul, as the sky had visibly darkened the neon lights in turn came on and lit up the atmosphere of the markets as floods of people and tourists came to witness the spectacle and to grab some dinner from Seoul’s oh-so-famous food vendors.

Yongguk eventually pulled into a car park; you were curious about what you were doing there exactly as you hadn’t been to this part of Seoul for several months now but as you let Yongmin out of the car you couldn’t help but laugh at his excitement. “Excited honey?” you asked him.

He only nodded his head profusely, “Uh huh I’m sooooo excited Umma, just wait until you see-“

“Yongmin!” Yongguk barked as he walked around the front of the car to join you both, “You’re not allowed to ruin the surprise.”

“Oops sorry daddy, can we go now?” he asked, eagerly tugging on both yours and Yongguk’s hands.

“Sure let’s go little man and of course little lady” he said grinning at you.

You simply rolled your eyes and let them have their fun as you allowed yourself to be pulled by Yongmin as he attempted to pull you even faster to your destination.

The streets were busy with much activity as Yongguk led you through the crowds – Yongmin now in his arms to stop him from getting lost and he held one of your hands tightly in one of his to stop you from getting lost in the crowds as well. Several different ethnic diversities surrounded you as you listened to the languages spilling out of people’s mouths and saw the smiles on their faces as they enjoyed the cool Korean evening.

Yongguk eventually led you to a rather large restaurant which from the outside you could see was packed with people, however instead of leading you through the main entrance Yongguk began to lead you down the alley way next to it and brought you round to the back of the restaurant. The back door was open and you could see and hear the kitchen as you were led closer.

“Erm Yongguk, are you sure we’re allowed to be back here?” you asked him as he set Yongmin down and let go of your hand to pull out his phone.

However he ignored your question and began to talk into his phone, “…yeah we’re here come out and greet us properly” he demanded playfully before laughing and hanging up, placing his phone back into his pocket. But what confused you immensely was that his entire conversation was in English, albeit slightly broken. Does Yongguk even have any English speaking friends?

He noticed you looking at him with a frown on your face but he simply took a hold of your hand again and squeezed it softly, “Just wait” he mumbled and turned back to look at the kitchen door expectantly. Yongmin too was jumping up and down in excitement so you too turned your attention to the door.

A few moments later a man appeared dressed in a chef’s uniform. He took his hat off as he walked closer but by this time Yongmin had gone racing forward to greet him and the man welcomed him, lifting him and throwing him up into the air before catching him again, Yongmin squealing as he did so, a smile on both their faces. You didn’t really know or understand what was happening until you managed to get a clear view of the man’s face and your breath caught in your throat when you eventually recognised him.

What’s the matter ________ you look like you’ve seen a ghost” the man said as he placed Yongmin back on the floor who immediately returned to Yongguk’s side.

Ohmygosh!” was all you squealed as you launched yourself at the man who in turn welcomed you with open arms and laughed alongside you as he spun you around. “Jasper what the hell are you doing here?

Hey is that anyway to talk to your cousin?” he said, playfully flicking you on the nose.

And Jasper was exactly that – your cousin or more specifically your best friend. You had practically grown up together due to the closeness of your mother and auntie; you went to the same play group, the same high school, the same college and pretty much spent every waking minute together despite the fact that he was 2 years older than you.

However when you both grew up and moved out and went to pursue your dreams, yours led you to Korea whilst Jasper stayed in your home country to pursue his dream of being a chef. He had visited a few times and you had visited him back home as well but the time difference and the long working hours of your career’s, not to mention when you became a wife and a mother, had greatly hindered the time you two had to contact one another and eventually you both stopped calling less and less until you eventually only called once every few months just to check the other was still alive and well.

The last time you had spoke to him was well over 5 months ago so to see him here now in the flesh and in a chef’s uniform was such a shock and surprise that you didn’t really know what to do, say or think. “Wait, why are you wearing a chef’s uniform?”

Because I’m a chef.” He stated plainly. You narrowed your eyes playfully at him, “How many times have I told you that you’re not funny.”

He huffed but still smiled anyway, “Well long story short your hubby over there called and said that he had a friend who needed a head chef for his new restaurant so he flew me out here and even though it’ll only be for a few months it means we can get to be together” he squealed at towards the end.

Your jaw dropped open, “You mean Yongguk brought you out here?”

Yeah he flew me out a few weeks ago-“

You mean you’ve been here for a few weeks and haven’t told me!” you cried flicking his forehead.

Heyyyy we thought it’d be a nice surprise!” he protested trying to avoid you flicking his forehead again.

You huffed in response but as tears suddenly sprang up into your eyes you wrapped your arms around his neck to bring him in for a hug. “I’ve missed you so much” you mumbled in his ear.

In response he tightened his hold on you, “I’ve missed you too” he mumbled back. But a little hand tugging on your skirt and Jasper’s trousers brought your attention down to Yongmin, “Jasper hyung I’m hungry” he whined, sticking his bottom lip out for effect.

“Oh are you now Yongmin?” Jasper asked in slightly broken Korean, squatting down to Yongmin’s height who nodded eagerly, “Well come on then let’s get you some dinner.”

Jasper picked Yongmin up and turned to go back into the kitchen, “I’ll give you two a minute” he said with a wink in your direction before he disappeared.

You turned around to Yongguk who had stayed rather quiet during your reunion, his head slightly lowered and his hands in his trouser pockets, as he peered up at you there was a hint of a small smile on his face, “Surprise” he mumbled.

You smiled softly and stepped towards him and cupped his face in your hands and proceeded to kiss all around his face, “You – kiss – are such - kiss - a – kiss – thoughtful –kiss - beautiful - kiss – man.”

Yongguk attempted to wriggle his face away from your grasp; attempting to hide his blush but he wrapped his arms around your waist anyway to bring you closer, “Did you like your surprise?”

“Yongguk this has to be one of the most thoughtful things and amazing things you’ve ever done for me, I just…I can’t even-“

“It’s okay there’s no reason to say anything, as long as your happy.”

In a way you just couldn’t comprehend what Yongguk had done for you – he had given you your best friend back and you couldn’t conjure the words to express your gratitude so you decided to show him instead.

You brought him down for a kiss; slow and romantic. You wrapped your arms around his neck and tried to show him just how thankful you really were for what he’d done. “You’re welcome” he whispered against your lips.

“Ewwwwww!”

You both turned around and you couldn’t help but raise your eyebrow in question; both Yongmin and Jasper had returned to find out what was taking you two so long, only they found you with your lips locked and immediately covered their eyes to ‘protect their innocence’ as Jasper called it. Yongmin you could understand but Jasper…

“So immature” you muttered as you dragged Yongguk over to the both of them. Jasper only chuckled and turned around and led you into the kitchen.

After eventually fighting your way out of the kitchen; several chefs had recognised Yongguk and immediately stopped what they doing only to have Jasper bark at them to carry on working, he led you out into the restaurant itself. It had a very nice feel to it; warm and inviting. It was modern but not too classy and from the décor and the vivid colours of the furniture and the walls you could tell it was a family-orientated restaurant.

You didn’t get too many stares, thank goodness, as you walked through the restaurant; most of the occupants were indeed families who were too busy concentrating on their children to notice that an idol had walked into the room. Jasper led you to a rather secluded part of the restaurant for which you gave him a grateful smile for; you and Yongguk didn’t tend to get peace whenever you went out for dinner and for this bit of privacy you were grateful.

Don’t worry I got’cha back cous” Jasper whispered in your ear as he pulled out your chair for you and you smiled up at him as Yongguk helped Yongmin up into his seat. “Well my favourite family in the whole wide world, I’ll just grab some menu’s and you can have anything you want, it’s on the house.”

“It’s okay Jasper there’s really no need…” Yongguk began but Jasper simply waved him away and disappeared, returning a few moments later with some menus and a small picture for Yongmin to colour in. “I’m afraid I’m going to have to return to the kitchen for a little bit but I’ll cook your meals personally,” he turned to you, “and don’t worry, we’ll catch up later okay” and with a quick ruffle of your hair he disappeared in the direction of the kitchen.

You smiled across the table at Yongguk before looking down at your menu, “So Yongminnie what would you like for dinner, anything in particular?” you asked the small boy who was engrossed in his colouring.

“Ummm cake!” he cried without looking up from his drawing, “Of course” you mumbled but you couldn’t help but smile in amusement at Yongguk who smiled in return.

In the end you managed to convince Yongmin to eat something proper with the promise of cake afterwards. Jasper cooked you all a delicious meal and you really enjoyed spending the evening out with Yongguk and Yongmin, it wasn’t often that you could spend time as a family after all.

When your dessert was placed on the table Yongmin squealed with delight at the sight of the cake and immediately tucked in, “Woah little man smaller bites, don’t worry it’s not going to go anywhere” Yongguk butted in and forced him to slow down.

When Yongguk returned his attention back to his food you opened your mouth expectantly to him and nudged him softly under the table, he looked up at you and glared playfully knowing what you wanted, “Nu-uh jagi this is my pudding” he said protectively covering it with his arms.

“But it looks so nice, please just one little bite” you whined, pouting slightly.

He sighed in defeat knowing that you’ll get your way regardless; nothing stood in your way when it comes to delicious looking puddings. He pushed the plate towards you but you made no move towards and instead opened your mouth again, “Feed me” you whined cutely.

Yongguk blushed slightly while biting back his grin but complied with your request, bringing a spoonful of the delicious looking treat to your mouth, feeding it to you carefully. You smiled in thanks and made appreciative noises at your cousins cooking skills, spooning some of your desert onto your spoon and holding it out for Yongguk. He smiled shyly and accepted the treat from you, nudging your foot underneath the table in thanks.

You exchanged a few more bites, now playing a small game of footsy under the table before Yongmin suddenly yawned and you looked at your watch noticing that it was getting late, “Time to leave I think” you said and looked at Yongguk for confirmation. You signalled for your waitress and she left to retrieve Jasper for you.

So cous does my cooking kick or what?” Jasper said once he reached your table.

It sure does but please language in front of my son” you said lightly slapping him on the arm, “Are you sure it’s okay that you don’t charge us?”

Jasper simply waved it away, “Of course I’m the head chef I practically own the place” he joked and helped you into your coat whilst Yongguk proceeded to button Yongmin’s up.

“Jasper hyung look what I drew it for you!” Yongmin exclaimed and handed his drawing to Jasper who took it with a wide grin, “Thanks little buddy I shall cherish it forever” he said as he leant down and ruffled his hair before looking back up at you, “I’ll call you okay, I’m not doing anything this weekend so we’ll catch up then okay?”

“Of course we will and thank you so much for tonight” you said bringing him in for a hug and a kiss on the cheek which he happily returned before turning to Yongguk who gave him a brotherly pat on the back.

He escorted you all outside and yelled after you as you walked away, “I’ll see you soon, love you!” causing a few people to turn and stare at the foreigner yelling down the street but you simply turned around and yelled back, “Love you too!” Yongguk chuckled at your actions, used to both you and cousins loud and silly behaviour when you were together and tugged on your hand focusing your attention back on walking down the street.

You sighed in happiness as you walked hand in hand with Yongguk down the street, Yongmin walking slightly further ahead, glancing at all the stalls in wonder as he waddled past. You shivered as a breeze flew by which of course didn’t go unnoticed by Yongguk, “You cold honey? Why didn’t you bring a jacket out?” he asked.

You gave him a very pointed stare causing him to turn red and to let out an embarrassed chuckle, “Oh yeah, I guess maybe I should’ve let you grab a jacket first huh?”

“You think” you mumbled. Another breeze blew past causing you to shiver again but you were quickly pulled into Yongguk’s side, his arm coming around to wrap around your shoulders pulling you as close as possible into his warmth. You in turn wrapped your arm around his waist and linked your fingers with his that were situated on your shoulder keeping you close to him. You smiled as Yongguk placed a kiss to your temple; you turned to smile up at him and smiled into a kiss as Yongguk lent down to briefly connect your lips.

“Daddy I’m tired, carry me?” You both looked down to see Yongmin expectantly holding his arms up. Yongguk rolled his eyes but complied with his son’s request, hoisting him up onto his hip with one arm whilst he kept the other around your shoulders.

“Alright let’s get my babies home to bed” Yongguk grinned making you chuckle lightly.

“…but daddy, mummy’s not a baby.”

~~~~
Yongmin had fallen asleep in the car on the way home, his head lolling to the side of his car seat, mouth hanging open whilst you and Yongguk simply enjoyed each other’s company and the silence of the car journey home.
After pulling up to your dark home you went and opened the front door for Yongguk who carefully extracted Yongmin from his seat and brought him inside before taking him up to his room and stepping aside so you could carefully dress him in his pyjamas.
Not wishing to wake him from his slumber knowing that if you woke him up he would never go back to sleep you simply left him, carefully tucking him into his bed alongside his bunnies, giving him a soft kiss to the forehead before standing up and leaving the room. You turned to make sure his night light was on before you pulled the door to and walked down to yours and Yongguk’s bedroom.
The latter was currently downstairs doing goodness knows what so you used the time to get ready for bed. It was approaching 11 in the evening so you skipped a shower and simply dressed in a pair of sweats and a tank top. You removed your make up and were brushing your teeth when Yongguk entered the bathroom.
He wordlessly came and stood behind you, already dressed similar to you indicating that he too was ready for bed, he placed his hands lightly on your hips as you spat and emptied your mouth, rinsing with mouth wash before turning around in his arms and facing him.
He stepped towards you and trapped you against the bathroom sink, leaning towards you and placing his hands on either side of you preventing you from escaping, not that you were planning on running away from him anyway.
 You smiled softly up at him enjoying his closeness as he was enjoying yours. You didn’t speak for several moments, simply staring into each other’s eyes until you decided to break the silence, “Thank you for this evening.”
He made a move to talk, a slight blush on his cheeks but you intercepted him, bringing your hands to rest on his neck whilst your other hand placed a finger over his lips to silence him, “Really you have no idea what it means Yongguk, I’m just so touched you would do something like this for me and I just…I can’t-” you stopped abruptly as you felt your eyes fill with tears. You were just incredibly touched by Yongguk’s thoughtfulness, it may not have sounded like a big deal to others that Yongguk had simply flown your cousin over, but to you it meant everything.
A soft smile appeared on Yongguk’s face as he watched you struggle for words eventually hanging your head to try and prevent your tears; he knew exactly what you were trying to say. He placed a finger underneath your chin and lifted your head up, lifting the other one to wipe away a stray tear. “I did it because I love you jagi, I love you so much that I would so anything to make you happy, to see you smile. Including fly your best friend thousands of miles to see you.”
You smiled but still let out a chocked sob at his touching words, the tears really starting to fall now as you let all of your feelings out. You threw your arms around Yongguk who immediately brought you into his chest, one arm wrapping around your waist while the over held your head to him protectively.
You both stayed there for several minutes waiting until you calmed down. You eventually pulled away from him with an embarrassed chuckle, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to get so emotional” you said, wiping the tears away from your cheeks.
Yongguk grinned down at you, leaning in to kiss your forehead, “It’s okay jagi you never have to apologise, come on let’s get to bed you’ve obviously had quite an emotional day.” You slapped his arm lightly with an embarrassed smile before shoving him out of the bathroom, his deep chuckle echoed around the tiled walls of the bathroom as he left the room and headed to bed.
You quickly splashed your face with cold water to try to rid your cheeks of tear stains before flicking the bathroom light off and joining Yongguk in bed who was patiently waiting for your arrival. You slipped off your sweats before sliding into the warmth and comfort of your bed and Yongguk’s arms, your legs tangling together out of habit.
You sighed in content; the happiest place you could ever be was in this man’s arms. Yongguk shifted slightly, squirming down slightly so you were eye-to-eye his arms still wrapped around you. He nuzzled your nose softly, wiggling closer until your lips connected. He moved his lips flawlessly against yours for several minutes until you both simultaneously moved away to breath, your noses still touching as you looked into each other’s eyes.
Finally with a breathtaking smile in each other’s direction you turned around to allow Yongguk to spoon you, his body moulding to yours perfectly as he wrapped his arms around your waist and he nuzzled into the back of your neck. And within moments the day’s events had caught up to the both of you and you had drifted off in each other’s arms, small smiles still on your faces.
Ummmmm author-nim I have an idea :) how about the struggles of being married to him? Like no matter how much love there was, being that b.a.p is getting extremely popular and they are always gone, therefor there must be alot of doubt. Also, struggling with a secret indoors relationship. Since no one outside the company knows of the marriage. Hey, maybe even throw in a person that really likes bang yong guk.
